Yuck, yuck, yuck… no. It’s so hard for me to find a gloss I can tolerate, because I absolutely hate that tacky feeling.
Yes, because it lasts longer! But, if it feels like glue, then no!!!
No thank you! It’s very windy where I live and I have very long hair. I can’t stand getting hair stuck on my lips. To be honest I only own four lipglosses. I prefer lipsticks or lip balms with a sheen.
Me too although my hair is not that long but hair stuck on my lips is NOT a cute look.
Hate them ! I really never wear lipgloss because they ‘re all so sticky , if I do wear a lipgloss they have to have a texture like the Kissable Lipcolours from MAC .

Ewwwwwwwww no. It’s the major reason I stay away from lip glosses. I can’t stand tacky stuff on my lips.

it’s only been in the last year or so that i’ve started to like sticky lipgloss. it does last longer it’s just not as comfortable to wear and on me, dries out my lips something fierce!
Can’t stand it! My hair inevitably gets stuck in sticky lipgloss. I’m SO not a fan of MAC Lipglass, the stickiest lipgloss I’ve ever used. Hate the way it aggressively clings to my lips, particularly if they are dry and peeling a bit! Love the Korres glosses though — nice and moisturizing and not sticky at all.
Sticky lip gloss is great because it seems to last longer on the lips. It’s not good if you have long hair and go outside in a breeze, though. I hate my hair sticking to my mouth.
i HATE sticky gloss with a passion bc the way it feels on my lips and my hair sticks to it even worse yuck. but i dont even like glossy lips anymore cuz my lips are very full and glossy makes them look swollen lol. i enjoy a balmy smooth finish for all my lip products ie. mac TLC. good question!
I hate sticky lipgloss. It always feels as though it is sitting on my lips. Not to mention that my hair constantly gets caught in it…
Sticky is alright as long as I like the lip gloss and it’s not dry, gloopy or gritty!
I don’t like it when it’s really thin and sticky so that the shine and colour mutes down really quickly either.

I have a high “sticky” tolerance but too much is too bad…
love sticky gloss, obviously not to the point where my lips are stuck together but I hate gloss that slides right off or sinks into the lips Im all about longevity 🙂
a little bit sticky(like colored lipsglass, juicy tubes) is ok, as it lasts longer on my lips ( non sticky is gone in 5 mins) but I can’t stand macs clear lipglass, it’s a grat gloss but the stickyness is driving me crazy
That sadly is the pro and the con of the clear MAC lipglass. Everything the wind blows down the street will be on your lip, and most definitely your hair but it goes on forever and ever because it’s so thick. I don’t even like their clear lipglass, thank goodness the colored ones are much thinner and less tacky.
Well, I mean, it depends. I do like it sticky (the gloss), but only when I know I’m not going to kiss anyone. Or pull my hair up. Or when it’s not windy.
Seriously, a sticky gloss can take the fun out of everything.
I love sticky lip gloss! It stays on so much better, and i like to feel it when i have something on, and also feel when it’s fading away.
Never. I hate sticky lip glosses. Because there’s always that point where you’re like eating and you just want it to get off your face and it won’t go away. I don’t mind reapplying throughout the day.
Agreed! Once I ate biscuits and got crumbs on my lips that just won’t go away and I tried wiping them off with tissues and got them stuck on my lips as well. Hate it!
Yes, I like it pretty sticky. When it’s a light formula, I kind of feel like it’s getting all over my face.
no i don’t like it sticky.. because i think it’s easyier to aplly evenly when it’s more fluent.
also kissing is very annoying with sticky gloss!!

I am a huge lip gloss fan but if it’s the least bit sticky I absolutely can not use it. I hate sticky lip gloss. For me lip gloss needs to feel nice on my lips as well as look nice so sticky is just out of the question.
Of course not as sticky as glue!
But I do prefer my lipgloss sticky! lasts longer and nourishes better.

Seems like I can’t bare sticky glosses. My first gloss was Lancome Juicy Tube in Strawberry Funk or something.
I really loved its smell and color, but OH-HELL-O stickiness! It was like sundews for hair!
That was the reason why I was afraid of glosses though I’ve learned later that not every glosses in the world are sticky and some provide moisture, still I prefer wearing lipstick alone.
Yes and no. It depends on how I’m wearing my hair lol. If my hair is up and out of my face, I don’t mind a sticky gloss because it DOES last longer and tends not to bleed on me. But if my hair is down, I prefer sticking (no pun intended lol) to non-sticky glosses because I hate when my hair gets into it! They have minimal lasting power though, a definite down side!
Heck no!!!! Drives me crazy!!! I tried to love MAC Dazzleglasses but I couldn’t because they were so sticky! I have to give them credit, they last a long time and look beautiful, but they are way sticky.
I’m probably in the minority here but yes I do like it sticky. I love lips that look super gloss and sticky lipgloss tends to achieve that a little better. Plus I like glosses that last longer. I’m not opposed to nonsticky and my hubby hates sticky(he also hates plumper) so I wear it to work when we won’t be kissing!
I don’t have a problem with sticky lipglosses, especially since they do tend to last longer. In fact, I think I prefer sticky lipglosses! As long as they’re not like glue, as you said 🙂
For some odd reason, I find that I do like tacky glosses. I’d have to say the texture of Stila Lip Glazes and MAC’s Lipglasses are two of my favorites 🙂

I don’t like sticky lipgloss at all! That’s why I have stopped wearing MAC lipglass and only do the cremesheens and lip gelees.
I don’t care if it lasts longer, I can’t stand sticky lipgloss!
not really I don’t like lip gloss at all I do love tinted lip balm for everyday and lipstick for special occasions.
I prefer Non sticky glosses but they wear off very fast so i tend to wear a stickyer texture. If anyone can recommend a smooth non sticky gloss that lasts please let me know (I need to be able to buy it in the uk :). )
I love sticky lipgloss because it definitely lasts longer and i love MAC lipglasses and their dazzle glasses as well.

No, I can’t stand it after torturing myself with Mac’s Lipglass for years in high school. It looks so wet and tacky on the lips, too. Just my opinion, though. 🙂
Dior’s Creme De Gloss and Revlon’s super lustrous glosses are the best.
I used to be all for all lip glosses. Now I just wear some chapstick or carmex or my MAC lipstick. I have very few glosses I use nowadays. I have two I use on a semi consistent basis- my MAC lipglass in devilishly stylish and EL pure color gloss in star pink

I like the ones that stick well to the lips, but don’t stick the lips together. For example Lorac 3D.

LOVE the sticky. It stays put, it moisturizes, and I can tell if it’s still on. I’ve discovered Stila Lipglaze, am eager to find other brands with a sticky texture. I own many shades of lovely lipgloss but much of it is so soft (which does feel wonderful on the lips) but I find it travels and interferes with my lipliner.

Because I didn’t think that I minded sticky, but the MAC glosses are VERY tacky and I hate that, so I guess I hate sticky too!!!!
I don’t mind that much my lipglosses being sticky. Usually, it helps them last longer. However, when my lips are dry, I avoid them as much as I can. In general, though, I prefer lipsticks or lipstick-lipgloss hybrids 🙂
I actually don;t mind sticky lipgloss or any other textures. Though I think tasting lipgloss is gross.
Oh, yes I do…the stickier the better as it makes it last longer. My friends think I am crazy…just placed my first order for OCC Lip Tar!!!
It’s fine, and for me it stays on longer if it’s sticky. Just depends on wind and how sticky it is.
I was just researching the topic and wondered how other ladies stand those because I struggle. Now I know I am not alone. I hate the stickiness. It even makes my mouth dry. I freaking tortured myself with those for too long. And when my hair goes on my lips, eww. Changing to lipsticks and lip balms asap.
