5 Corals for Green Eyed Looks

5 Corals for Green Eyed Looks

One of my favorite ways to complement green eyeshadows is with coral/peach lipstick. There is just enough warmth to tie to the greens most commonly used and if you find one soft enough, it will complement and not compete.

  1. Bobbi Brown Bare Pink Rich Lip Color — delightfully light coral without too warmth, making it a wearable coral for all skin tones
  2. MAC Freckletone Lipstick — a soft peach with a hint of coral, a little sheerness but not too much
  3. Chanel Genie Extrait de Gloss — a glossy, semi-opaque peach coral adds color without going overboard
  4. Smashbox Splendid Lipstick — a pink-tinged coral with soft white shimmer and a glossy finish
  5. Korres #30 Liquid Lipstick — opaque and glossy, this is a soft peach with only a hint of warmth

What are your favorite lip pairings for green eyeshadows?

I’m wearing Chanel Extrait de Gloss in Genie with my green heavy metal UD eyeliner! It looks so good. I agree that corals are a perfect match for green shadow/liner looks.

Like you, I like peachier lipsticks with green eyeshadow looks. Today I’m wearing a smoky green eye with Marquise ‘D lipstick and Mighty Aphrodite blush.

Dior Ultra Gloss in Coral Fantasy is my fave, but all the lip colors I buy have to match green eyeshadow because I wear it so much.

Hey Christine
I was wondering what coral shade is good for me. I wear NC 44 in Mac mineralized satinfinish foundation and medium deep in mineralzized natural powder.

I do really love corally shades with green eyes! I wore Lancome’s Enticing Rose (which is a pinky corally shade with lots of hold shimmer) with green shadow and teal liner, and really loved it!

Thanks Christine for compiling these lip combos – super helpful – i love Green eyed looks and do them often…but by the time i finish applying my eyeshadows i’m so pressed for time that i end up doing the same lip combo again and again – MAC Made to Order with MAC Nice Mix Up Ligglass. At least now i can switch it up.

Umm… I want Korres #30 in my life RIGHT NOW >w<

Chanel Extrait de Gloss looks cool too. How do you compare their formula (Chanel Extrait de Gloss and Korres Liquid Lipstick)?

Thank you Christine 😀 I’ve never tried both of them before. Maybe I’ll start with Chanel Confidence and Korres #30!

I only hope that Korres packaging would look more err.. pricey! I like quality look product – how nonsense I am!

I always pair green shades of eyeshadows to yellow toned pink lipsticks or a peach lipstick. My favorite so far are Shu Uemura PK316 and Guerlain Rouge G Gardenia.
