Ooh good question! Im going to steer away from MAC and say:

Face: sigma f80
Eye: ecotools dense shadow brush with the point tip, so multifunctional

Face: MAC 182 because I can only put on mineral foundation with a kabuki and I’m sure I could put other face powders on with it too.
Eye: MAC 239 because it’s pretty versatile and I usually use it every day anyway.

clinique eyeshader brush, use every day for base colour, its amazing, big, soft and fluffy, great for applying all over colour to eye area.

eco tools new eyeshadow brush, soft and great for packing on colour and blending colour all over.

Mac 217 for eyes (or any brush similarly shaped, I found one from Boots No7 that’s great!)
Sonia Kashuk Flat Top (it’s seriously great for foundation, blush, contouring, buffing out.. everything!)

Face – it’s a toss up between the MAC 130 and Sephora 55 Platinum Professional (both would work for foundation, blush and powder)
Eyes – the MAC 217

Face: MAC 187
Eyes: MAC 217… so versatile! I can do everything with it, lid, highlight, inner corner, crease, outer crease, even lower lash line if I’m careful.

For one eye brush, I wholeheartedly agree about the MAC 239! It’s perfect. And for one face brush, I’d have to say Sephora’s #55 air brush.

Hmmm. I’m going to say the 239 for eyes and the 224 for face. I know the 224 is an eye brush, but I use it to apply my udereye concealer and I refuse to give it up! I would happily put my foundation on with my fingers!

Eyes: I second the MAC 217 if you have larger eyes (which I do!).

Face: Bare Minerals soft focus face brush – I take this one to travel with and use it for everything face: loose powder foundation, blush, highlighter, and setting powder. Love it!

MAC 138 for face because its the softest brush i ever had and omg im just obessed with it and MAC 217 brush for eyes definitely (:

MAC 242 for the eyes and the Bionic Flat Top Buffer brush from Coastal Scents. It’s a great brush that will not break your wallet!

I would Definitely pick my “Make up Store nr. 366” (large duofibre-brush), and my “Face Stockholm nr. 39” (pointed, dens blendingbrush).

🙂

What an unfair question because it too difficult to answer but I guess I would say the now discontinued Smashbox #16 brush for face; and the newly discontinued Estee Lauder 11E Blending Brush for eyes.

Next time oculd we at least get 2 brushes for face and eyes? LOL.
