Do you use body foundation?

Do you use body foundation? Have you? Do you use your face foundation or something specific for body?

On really, really special occasions (like graduation), then I will ensure really even coverage for face, neck, and shoulders (assuming what I’m wearing shows shoulders).  I use something sheer and lightweight like MAC Face & Body.

Thanks to Svetlana for today’s question!

Nope but I do use foundation on my neck everyday cause I never want to look like a mask face (although I do have the correct shade of foundation). But sometimes if I’m wearing a low-cut top I have gotten in the past three months one time a zit on my upper chest area so I did conceal and use some foundation there.

Nope, never! I have freckles, so putting foundation over that would look very awkward. I assume it would also give the impression to people that I’m insecure about my freckles (which I’m not- I love them! Haha).

I haven’t yet and I’m in my 50’s so the likelihood of me ever doing this is slim to none. I suppose if you tan a lot and then have tan lines you need to cover if wearing an strapless or off the shoulder gown, then you’d need something but I don’t tan so that’s not a problem.

Sometimes, especially when I go an event where I wear a sleeveless dress and I’m still not tanned, to prevent any difference between body parts 😉

I have never used a body foundation. A friend of mines swears by it. She says that is a must when wearing low cut shirts. I personally don’t see the need for it because my skin is pretty even and my face foundation blends in great with my skin.

I don’t; I live in South Florida, so I’d probably sweat it all off and ruin my clothes! Personally, it kinda gives me the heebie-jeebies. I used to work for a chiropractic office and this one patient used to wear it and leave it behind on EVERYTHING… the table, towels, ice/heat packs.

No, never. Not even on my face. I have freckles on my face and some on my bod. I like them and would never cover them up. But I suppose if I has a very noticable blemish or bruise and was going out for a special occasion I would attempt to cover it up.

Well I blend it down onto my neck and chest just so everything is the same color, but beyond that, no. I will use fake tan on my body to even stuff out though.

Once, which was the first and only time I ever got a spray tan. It looked horrible! I had orange streaks on my arms and legs, and I was attending a wedding that weekend in which I was going to see people I hadn’t seen in a long time and so of course I wanted to look extra sexy. The person at Sephora suggested that I exfoliate before applying the foundation – it was a MUFE foundation and it actually worked really well. No one was able to tell.

I have mixed foundation with my lotion before. I actually really liked how it looked, but I wouldn’t do it regularly because it’s kind of a pain to make sure it’s spread out evenly and such. It’s a special event/going out kinda thing for sure.

I never have. But I would like to use it on my legs, my skin on my legs just doesn’t look as good as I would like it to look . Just like most of you I also didn’t have idea that there actually are foundations for body but now when I do I would like to try.
