Face: Avene SPF 30
Body: Usually what my former face choice was; this year, it’s Shiseido Sun Protection Lotion SPF 38.
Since the mid-1980’s I’ve used sunscreen without fail, but initially as a preventative for chloasma (during pregnancy). Broad-spectrum sunscreen was by Rx only until the early 1990’s when it became over-the-counter and a lot nicer to use. The early stuff was thick and oily.
Face: Don’t have one, they are all greasy and clog me up
Body: Coppertone Oil Free SPF 50 (the one with cornstarch that dries soft to the touch)
And no, I don’t wear it on a regular basis on my face, but if I’m doing any outdoor activities, heck yes!
Favorite face sunscreen? Clarins UV Plus under makeup, Neutrogena Sport for face for the gym
Favorite body sunscreen? Coppertone/Banana Boat SPF 30 or more
Do you wear sunscreen without fail? Yes
I don’t really have favorites. I currently have four different sunscreens sitting around just waiting for the sun. I do prefer using sprays for my body and “fill in” using the lotions, and I always use lotion on my face. I’ve been thinking about finding a product meant specifically for the face, because I’m really prone to sunburn.
I don’t use it in the winter because I’m not outside very much–and it’s not very sunny here in the winter–but any time I know I’m going to be outside longer than fifteen minutes, I put some on.
Favorite face sunscreen? Unfortunately, I haven’t found one that doesn’t make my face look like a shinny ball!
Favorite body sunscreen? Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Light Weight Body Lotion SPF 30.
Do you wear sunscreen without fail? Yes! Everyday!
=)
You are missing out. Some sunscreens actually help *control* oil (I know!). MAC, for instance, has one that also doubles as a primer (SPF 50 PA++).
Favorite face sunscreen? Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face SPF 45(?)
Favorite body sunscreen? Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch SPF 45 (?)
Do you wear sunscreen without fail? In the summer, if I am going to be out in the sun for an extended period of time, yes. In the winter, when I ski, yes. Otherwise, no.
Favorite face sunscreen? Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch SPF 70
Favorite body sunscreen? Banana Boat Baby Tear Free SPF 50
Do you wear sunscreen without fail? No, but I should because of how pale I am and how easily my skin burns.
Favorite face sunscreen? Neutrogena Dry-Touch SPF 30.
Favorite body sunscreen? I don’t really have a preference there.
Do you wear sunscreen without fail? I used to! I really, really need to get back into it.
BareMinerals SPF 30 Brush On Sunscreen
Neutrogena Cooling Spray On Sunscreen SPF 45?
Mostly!!
Favorite face sunscreen? Skin Ceuticals Ultimate UV Defense SPF
Favorite body sunscreen? Ultimate Sport™ Sunblock Spray SPF 100+
Do you wear sunscreen without fail? – yep. Family history of melanoma.
Face sunscreen: Elta SPF 35 for face
Body: Elta as well
I always try to wear sunscreen on my face everyday but I do have days where I forget it!
Face: BeautiControl Cell Block-C New Cell Protection SPF 20
Body: Clinique Sun SPF 30 Body Cream
I wear sunscreen on my face and hands without fail, but I’m not as good with putting it on my body!
Face: Lancome skin recharge, SPF 15 moisturiser. Clinique City Block (SPF 30) for eyes when it’s summer.
Body: Roc spray sunlotion SPF50
Regularly wear the face one but only the body one in summer, since my skin’s pretty well covered during other seasons. It’s quite hard to find a sunscreen that doesn’t leave a greasy residue actually, although slightly better in the past few months (ie. shopping for more expensive products!).
Favorite face sunscreen:
I always use my Face Protect primer from MAC.
Favorite Body Sunscreen:
I don’t use it, because everything but my hands and face is always covered.
Do you wear sunscreen without fail:
On my face I do. My body’s covered, so I don’t feel the need.
Favorite face sunscreen? Mario Badescu Solar Block Cream SPF 30
Favorite body sunscreen? Lubriderm Advanced Therapy SPF 30
Do you wear sunscreen without fail? On my face and neck, yes. I don’t always remember to wear sunscreen on other body parts though.
Favorite face sunscreen:
Aveene Redness Relief Soothing Cream SPF 25. I have sensitive skin and this is on of the few products it likes with SPF. I also use a mineral face powder during the summer that has a facial sun block. It’s not a foundation just a finish powder, I would say what it is but the product was reformatted with the Titanium Dioxide so it won’t add a layer of sun protection now. But I did get back ups before the switch.
Favorite body sunscreen: Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100. I can also use it on my face as well thankfully for days I need something for longer sun exposure.
Do you wear sunscreen without fail:
I should but not so much in the winter but then again I don’t get much sunlight either. >__<
Face: ANTHELIOS HELIOBLOCK Fluide Extreme
Body: Cenoura & Bronze SPF 30; when it is safe to reduce SPF and tan Banana Boat Protective Tanning Oil SPF 15.
I always use face sunscreen, but I don’t use body sunscreen everyday, only during long period outdoors (ex: by the pool, on the beach, etc).
Face: Shiseido Extra Smooth Sun Protection Lotion (SPF 38)
Body: Neutrogena Ultimate Sport, or Ultra-Sheer, depending on what I’m doing
Do you wear sunscreen without fail?
No…During the winter, I tend to skip out on my face sunscreen if I’m wearing a moisturizer or tinted moisturizer with some SPF, and I won’t apply sunscreen to my body if I’m wearing long sleeves or pants. My job means that I don’t see the outdoors on a regular basis, except for when I’m walking to and from my car, but I’m pretty good about it when I’m actually outside, though.
I avoid ANY products that contain sunscreen. They just make me feel icky for some reason. I’m a skeptic anyway, I don’t believe all the hype about getting skin cancer from driving with the window open and what not.
I have been using Kinerase Daily Defense Cream SPF 30 for almost a year now and I like it; actually, just about any sunscreen works for me as long as I avoid my eye area- I use it without fail anymore and the other brands that I have used over and over again have been Neutragena and Bain De Soleil, so, that would explain why I have no particular grievances with sunscreens. I don’t use any on my body because it is never really exposed to the sun (honest!).
Face: Mac Prep & Prime spf50. If you have oily skin this is a must have.
Body: Shiseido (I think its spf 55)
I wear sunscreen on my face everyday.
Favorite face sunscreen:
Racco Cosmetics Oil Free Facial Sunscreen 30 FPS – not greasy at all and the only one that doesn’t clog my pores!
http://www.raccocosmetics.com/ecommerce/detalhe_produto/145/Soleil-Oil-Free-Facial-Sunscreen-SPF-30
Face: I use La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Face Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid and I recommend it for people who avoid sunblock because of the greasy feel/look. I was the same way for years until my dermatologist told me about this. It has never caused a breakout and can be worn under makeup or alone without shine. I can’t say enough about it.
Body: Usually Neutrogena Sheer touch
I try to wear face sunscreen everyday but get a little lax during the winter because I am never outside!
I must shamefully admit I am terrible at remembering to sunscreen (which is made even worse by the fact that I live in the perpetually sunny Southern California). I only wear sunscreen when it is built in a product I use religiously (like my daily facial moisturizer, which is Biore Dual Fusion SPF30). I have body lotion that is SPF 15 but I usually forget to use that too.
Face: Nivea Sunscreen SPF 50
Body: the same one!
I only use it when I think it’s needed it.
* Favorite face sunscreen? For everyday, Elta Clear 46, it’s amazing for problem skin and very lightweight. If I’m going to be outdoors a lot, Neutrogena Sheer Dry-Touch 100.
* Favorite body sunscreen? Hawaiin Tropic Ultimate Ozone 80 – it’s pretty thick but it’s really good for all-day outside things.
* Do you wear sunscreen without fail? Yep, I’m a redhead in Texas and really, really pale so I’ve got to wear sunscreen. I wear stuff on my face everyday, I only put on body stuff if I’m going to be outdoors a lot.
Face: Aveeno Continuous Protection Face Sunscreen SPF 30
Body: Hawaiian Tropics Sheer Touch Lotion SPF 30
Living on the East Coast I must admit that when the seasons change aka Fall and Winter I do not wear sunscreen daily (unless I’m snowboarding) and in the summer with out fail everyday!
Face: Racco SPF 30. It took me a while to find a sunscreen that wasn’t greasy and this one really fits all my needs. Racco Cosmetics is a brazilian line of high end products. I love it!
I wear it everyday without fail. It became a habit.
Face: Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Liquid Daily Sunblock SPF70, or Neutrogena AgeShield Face SPF 110
Body: La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60
Do I wear sunscreen without fail: YES! Every single day, rain or shine.
Favorite face sunscreen? la roche posay anthelios xl spf 50
Favorite body sunscreen? ambre solaire by garnier or nivea spf 30
Do you wear sunscreen without fail?
I don’t wear sunscreen if i know i’m gonna be outside for less than 30mins
Face: Vitazing spf 15 from Origins. I tried several moisturizers (hope in a jar with spf and DDF moisturizing dew spf 15 to name a few) with sunscreen and they all made it feel like I was wearing a mask all day and some even caused breakouts. Vitazing is amazing…I am IN LOVE with this moisturizer! I’ve been using Vitazing for 2 months with no breakouts. Only con is the low spf.
Body: I’m going to try a few of the ones recommended by all of you!
And yes, I wear sunscreen on my face everyday with out fail!
Favorite face sunscreen? included in my clinique moisturizer SPF25 I think
Favorite body sunscreen? Nivea Sun Light Feeling Lotion SPF30
Do you wear sunscreen without fail? Yes for face sunscreen. No for body sunscreen. I only wear body sunscreen in the summer since that’s the only season when I’ll wear shorts and short-sleeved shirts or a bathing suit. Really! I always wear a jacket, sweater or cardigan 80% of the year and long pants 98% of the year.
Favorite face sunscreen? Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer with SPF, which I wear without fail. Don’t have a favorite for the body.
I have this TM and am trying to sell it if you are interested. I have it in Porcelain.
Favorite face sunscreen? Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Favorite body sunscreen? same as above
Do you wear sunscreen without fail? No, I don’t wear it in winter because I’m indoors.
Favourite face: Sofina Perfect UV SPF 55 PA+++ (Japanese brand. I find Asian sunscreens tend to be a thinner consistency that don’t clog your pores and have matte finishes)
Favourite body: L’oreal ombrelle series
everyday since 18! Wish I started as a toddler haha
Favorite face sunscreen?
Haven’t found one that I like. 🙁 Though I do often wear tinted moisturizer with SPF or Mineral Veil with SPF.
Favorite body sunscreen?
Banana Boat is what I used last summer.
Do you wear sunscreen without fail?
Unfortunately not. I should though.
Face sunscreen : larocheposay fluid extreme spf50 and skinfood green coffee sunscreen SPF 50 but since I started to prime my skin I use Mac prep and prime SPF 50
Body sunscreen : no7 whitening body sunscreen SPF 50 not oily good protection
I have started to use religiously a SPF since I was 21 years old, I wonder if it’s not too late? When I was a child I went outdoors to the beach and have never worn sunscreen and I do regret because it left me some freckles, which I totally hate have to use a concealer to hide them.I love sunscreen with high SPF , in Thailand SPF 30 is according to me too low, I don’t feel protected enough so I always go for at least a SPF of 50.
Face: I ran out of my Shiseido sunscreen, so I’m using Neutrogena Sport for face spf 70. It’s been sitting around and gonna go to waste so I decided to use it up.
Body: Neutrogena Sport for body. It’s my favourite! It doesnt feel greasy. don’t do sports but I like how these sunscreens are waterproof.
Do your wear sunscreen without fail? Yes, everyday on my face since I was 14, and the body when its summer
Face: Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch 50+
Body: Banana Boat Sport 50+
Yes, i wear sunscreen regularly on my face. But on my body only if i might be exposed to the sun whilst running errands – and definitely if i’m doing any outdoor activities.
Face: Clarins HydraQuench Lotion for normal to combination skin which has SPF15 in it and/or MAC Prep + Prime Face Protect which has SPF 50 in it.
Body: None. I haven’t been to a beach in years. And I live in a mostly cold area.
I only wear sunscreen religiously if it’s in my moisturizer or primer or something.
Face:Neutrogena pure and free baby spf 60
Body:Neutrogena fresh cooling body mist spf 45
Most days I do, especially since my dad died from melanoma.
Favorite face sunscreen? Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream SPF 50
Favorite body sunscreen? Piz Buin for allergic skin SPF 50
Do you wear sunscreen without fail? I usually wear actual sunscreen only in the summertime, but for the rest of the year I do wear a lotion that contains at least SPF15
Favorite face sunscreen? Lately I have been using the new L’oreal Youth Code facial moisturizer with SPF 30
Favorite body sunscreen? I just use any oil-free that is on sale 🙂
Do you wear sunscreen without fail? On my face, I try to everyday (having SPF in my moisturizer helps a lot) but only my body when i know I’m going to get lots of sun. I burn way easy!
* Favorite face sunscreen?
La Roche Posay’s Fluid Extreme SPF 40 for daily use and 60 for the beach.
* Favorite body sunscreen?
Usually Nivea’s Kids 60. But sometimes it varies.
* Do you wear sunscreen without fail?
On my face and hands, yes, even when it’s raining.
Favorite face sunscreen? Alba Botanica Very Emollient Mineral Protection SPF20
Favorite body sunscreen? Neutrogena Sensitive Skin SPF30 for when I really need sun protection. During the summer I like Juice Beauty’s SPF20 body moisturizer just for regular walking around outside during my commute and such.
Do you wear sunscreen without fail? Pretty much. =)
I’m allergic to chemical sunscreen ingredients and the Alba Botanica is seriously one of the best I’ve found and it’s actually very affordable too! Even though I use the SPF20, it has a higher % of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide than the DDF SPF30 one I was using (discontinued now) – and I can tell it actually works better since I’ve faded more since I started using it and pigmentation from acne goes away much faster.
I don’t wear ANY sunscreen unless it’s already formulated into my moisturizer/foundation or if I’m going out for a hike or to the beach. Yes, yes – it’ll cause wrinkles and all that jazz – but the sun’s supposed to supply you with nutrients! I’d rather have my nutrients & a healthy glow that comes with wrinkles than an unaging, white face & body. Just my two cents. =]
for face i like kate somerville spf 50 serum or any sheisedo. body i like sheisedo. most times i keep my body covered but here in fl. it is hard. the face and neck really take a beating. mary kay hand and decollete lotion at night is really good for neck wrinkles. in fl. you must wear sunglasses and a visor or hat.
