When you asked about colored mascaras…well then I did a natural look with purple mascara, and the other look I liked very much was a totally smoky with the Blue Dahlia palette!! but I have a question for you….have you seen something interesting and nice from NY Fashion Week?
Not yet… just started, so it’s hard to say! NARS @ Honor was a fun look, and I liked the glittery concept of MAC @ Vena Cava!
I did one yesterday with a lot of stuff from my WW haul:
Vex and Bough Grey eyeshadow, dark green Yves Rocher eyeliner, Army of Amazons mascara (comes out dark green on my black eyelashes), Mighty Aphrodite on the cheeks, and Marquise D on the lips.

No, no pics – I hate having my picture taken, so won’t even take one of myself LOL…
I got my Fyrinnae shadows in so I used Knickers in a Twist all over the lid with Robot Takeover in the crease, black liner and mascara. I used Tarte Blissful cheek stain and a natural lip.
Im loving smudging my black liner with mulch (kind of messy smokey) with Gina in my cheeks and hue/fanfare/shy girl in my lips
I used the MAC Tone: Grey quad the other day. I put the light grey shade all over the lid and used the dark blue as eyeliner (it actually stayed on all day). I used Benefit Bad Gal Blue on my lashes. I also used Benefit Dallas on my cheeks and MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner in Gentle Coral on my lips.
I forgot to mention that I used Benefit High Brow. It’s what I always use on my brow bones.
Ive been going SUPER neutral lately, so simply all that glitters all over the lid, and then urban decay shakedown(matte brown) in outer corner and outer crease. Just Mascara after that! No eyeliner at all 🙂
Yesterday I did MAC Acid Orange on the about 2/3 of the inner lid, and Kryolan Frambrosia on the outer lid, and lined my waterline with standard black cheapie eyeliner. I don’t know why I like that look, but I do. A lot. I’m weird 😀
I just started a blog and created a look for it, and then my camera flaked out on me so I couldn’t take a picture. I’ll be buying a new camera soon. Boooo, sucky cameras! xP

UD maui wowie on the lid, sketch in the crease and shadowy lady on the outer thirs eyelid and outer v, highlight with a matte colour and sugarpill poison plum on the lower lashline. Waterline and tightline with black
heavily contoured face and a plum blush
MAC sweetie lipstick with a pretty much clear gloss with a bit of sparkle 🙂

I wore this look 2 days in a row because it was the only one my boyfriend EVER noticed and complimented me on (he hates makeup). UDPP (original), Deviant 24/7 liner on top and bottom, Dime 24/7 liner inner corners, Strip shadow inner 1/2 of lids, MAC Freshwater shadow on outer 1/2 of lids, Atlantic Blue in crease, UD Vapor shadow under brow, Dior browstyler, UD De-Slick powder, Chanel Orchid Rose blush, Dior Clutch Pink Ultra-Gloss Reflect.
oh and of course Inimitable mascara. That’s a given, it’s the only mascara I own.
I did a very subtle and natural peachy work-safe look:
MAC Arena all over the lid, MAC Tette-a-Tint on the crease and outer third/corner, MAC Grain to highlight the inner corner and the brow bone, MAC Bountiful Brown eyeliner on upper and lower lash line, MAC Buff and little MAC Trace Gold on cheeks and MAC Mocha on the lips.
Too much work for so little drama, ahaa!
My favorite look that I did this week was yesterday, but the eyes have become my go to in the morning most days.
On my eyes I used: Inglot eyeshadow in 397 (peachy champaign) all-over my lid and on the inner part of my lower lid, MAC eyeshadow in Vainglorious in my crease and on the outer part of both my upper and lower lid, and Clinique’s Long Pretty Lashes Mascara.
On my cheeks I used: MAC beauty powder in Oh So Fair.
And on my lips I used: MAC lipstick in Syrup, and later when that wore off MAC lipgloss in Devilishly Stylish.
I’m also very fair, just thought I would throw that in there.
I love did naked lunch all over lid, soft brown crease, yogurt as highlight, MAC style blush and myth on lips…my go to look…any ideas on how to vamp up????
I was playing with the makeup from my latest haul. My eyes were a combo from the new Too Faced Romantic Eye palette-Bouquet Toss all over the lid up to brow, Honeymoon on inner half of lid (beware of fallout from this one) and Ever After on the outer half of lid, the crease and the lower lashline. On my cheeks, I applied Stila’s Make Me Blush which is easy to overdo, but if I use a light hand it looks just like when I blush for real. On my lips, Stila’s lip glaze in Hugs, which is indescribably beautiful on.
I’ve been using the pure romance quad from covergirl with the purple all over my lids then the brown in my crease. On my tight line and waterline I use a brown liner and on my lower lash line I use an olive green for a nice springy look. Cheeks I’ve been obsessed with either MUFE HD blush #6 or bella bamba blush

I did an awesome look with UD Shadow Pencils. I put Clash on the lid, Morphine in the upper crease and Mercury in the lower crease and outer vee, then used Venomous Pegasus as a highlight.
Today I had a new haul from MAC and its my new fave look for the week…practically bare eyes just a bit of bare study paint pot and lots of mascara and a bit of black liner on the lower lash line…and my haul is all lips I got Russian red lipstick and the wonder women lipgloss to pair together, used with Red lipliner and prep and prime for lips…I am on the hunt for soem good foundation and tried the Diorskin Nude today…i think I like but I got a sample to try for a few days…but I am lovin the bare eyes/red lips combo its new for me but I have the retro vibe goin so it works 🙂
I’ve been loving really simple stuff lately: painterly and rubenesque paint pot on the eyes with some mascara/tinted moisturizer/and the happy booster PF blush
I wore the NARS Nouveau Monde duo, the grayed lilac above the crease and the olive green on the lid and into the crease. I tightlined with MAC Rosemary & Thyme Kohl liner, and used Le Metier de Beaute Spicy on the lower lash line; Warm Soul blush, and D&G Shine Lipstick in Emotion. I liked this look so much that I wore it again a few days later.
And Chanel Inimitable mascara!
I’ve been really into taupes lately (Wet n Wild’s Night Elf palette, Silent Treatment trio, aerie Color palettes) with some other splash of color. Thick black liner on upper lash line, and lots of mascara.
I’ve been loving Stila’s Make Me Blush blush and Physician’s Formula’s Happy Booster in Natural. They’re both so pretty to look at and lovely on the cheeks 🙂
I’m not into lip products lately :/ I’ve been trying some of Stila’s lipglazes though. And any aerie Color Quenchsticks are usually go-to for me.
I do quick and natural makeup for school. I change it up but lately I’ve been loving using UDPP in sin as a base and naked by UD on my lid and in my crease with buck by UD in the outer corner/outer crease. and some black mascara.
it’s not completely matte but not super shimmery! and it’s really quick and easy!
MAC Feline Kohl Power pencil on my top lids smoked out with a pencil brush, and MAC Blacktrack Fluidline on the bottom lids also smoked out with a pencil brush. Nars Pro Prime Eyeshadow Base has to be under all of this at all times, or a MAC Paint Pot. MAC False Lashes mascara.
Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in Deep, MAC Half-Red lip pencil, Snob lipstick, and Lust lipglass. I’m an NC45.

my favorite lately has been nocturnelle on the lid, blended with fig one in the crease, then sketch in the outer v, then shadowy lady on top of that to smoke it out more. highlight with brule and line with black in the upper, lower, and tight lines. LOVE IT

I just bought it couple days ago, but I’m in love with my Chanel Rouge Allure Laque Ming!!!
I’ve been doing very natural makeup lately, just because work has been so hectic and i don’t have the time to experiment, that was until i got the MAC Wonder Woman collection. Eyes- Lancome Pretty Pretty metallic eyeshadow (light lavender with a pink silver sheen), MAC Unflappable in the crease, Smashbox Limitless Eyeliner in Orchid on the lower lash line and MAC WW Victorious mascara. Cheeks- Smashbox Glow Halo as bronzer with MAC Pink Swoon on apples of cheeks. Lips- Clinique Chubby Stick in Whole Lotta Honey with MAC Emancipation lipgloss on top. It was a natural look done with color and the kids in my class seemed to like it too! 🙂
Hi Vanessa, I saw that you used Smashbox Limitless Eyeliner in Orchid. I’ve been trying to find a full size pencil in Orchid but have only been able to find the try me size in the kit with onyx, 14k & stone (I think?). Do you have the full size pencil or the try me size & if you do have the full size pencil, may I ask where you purchased it? Thanks!

MAC Nylon in the inner corner, MAC Deep Blue Green pigment (wet) on lid and a little in the crease, Grey Range (from MAC Photorealism Quad) in the crease, MAC Vanilla to highlight. MAC Blacktrack on upper lashline, winged out. Urban Decay Perversion 24/7 pencil on lower lash line and waterline.
NARS Laguna bronzer to contour, MAC Gana to highlight and MAC Viva Glam V on the lips
Today I kept it simple. I used the new too faced romantic eye palette soulmates(shimmery creme) from lid to brow, UD buck in the crease, and a soft line using the too faced unviel(dark chocolate brown) shadow as liner. maybelline falsies mascara. Revlon pink pout on the lips(VG gaga dupe) nyx megashine gloss in smokey look over the center of the bottom lip and maybelline dream mouse blush in rose petal
last night was my valentine’s date with my boyfriend and i did a look that was really pretty!
MAC Blanc Type on my lid and lightly blended up to my brow
Cranberry on the outer third and in the crease
Sketch to darken it up
Wet a flat shader brush and applied Urban Decay’s Polyester Bride on the lid.
I highlighted my brow with Shroom and it was gorgeous!
Black liquid eyeliner, tightlining, and Falsies mascara. my boyfriend loved it!
yesterday for my birthday i wore a beautiful smokey taupe/brown and periwinkle-blue combo. on the lid i used NYX Yogurt jumbo pencil as colored base, MAC satin taupe all over with MAC Haux and Mulch in the crease, MAC Phloof on browbone. Then I lined my bottom lashline thickly with NYX Pacific (periwinkle blue) and put MAC moon’s reflection (sky blue) on top. MAC feline on waterline and thick black mascara. love!
