I picked up a Neutrogena Moistureshine Lip Sheer in Fresh Rose at CVS for 50% off the other day, and I’ve worn it nearly every day since. It feels like a very good (but not Jack Black great) balm, and gives my lips a healthy-looking flush and subtle sheen — perfect for work. I was really surprised how much I liked a $5 impulse buy!

MAC prolongwear lipcreme in Goes and Goes. I love this true purple lipstick to death. My ex-boyfriend said I looked like a black Thora Birch in Ghostworld, and when I have my glasses on and this purple lipstick, I definitely feel like her, ha ha.
I dont really have one right now, I would have to say Mellow Mood from the MAC Tartan Tale lipbag though

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Rosy Nude. It is THE perfect nude lipstick for me. It looks like my bare lips but prettier.
My go to lipstick is actually a purple lipstick!
Its MACs “goes and goes” i always gets compliments when i wear it, and its my favorite color too! 🙂

Right now I’m loving Chanel Jersey Rose Rouge Coco and have worn it twice this week, but I don’t really have any go to lipsticks, I have too many to just stick to one or two.
MAC’s Mehr seems to be my go-to at the moment. Before that it was MAC’s Syrup. If I want an orange lip, it’s Vegas Volt I tend to grab.

MAC Yash, Empowered, or Mehr lipsticks because Yash and Empowered are the two best nudes that I have ever seen on my face so far and Mehr is the most beautiful pink on me for a light to medium pink.
I like pinky nudes best on me so either MAC hue or Innocence,Beware. Easy to wear and they go with any look.

MAC Syrup or Viva Glam V. Can’t mess up with neutral pinks
Hmmm…. This is a difficult question to answer – I would have had a readied answer if you had asked which color lipstick is your go-to color. However, I would either choose Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipstick in Soft Honey or Revlon Lustrious Lipstick in Berry Bloom (limited edition).
My go to lipstick is MAC Freckletone because its flatters my skin tone and I can wear it with absolutely anything.

For everyday I use Lipstick Queen Pink Sinner. For special occasions I use Lipstick Queen Medieval or Benefit Full Finish in Lady’s Choice (it depends on how done my eyes are and if my hair is up or down).

Chanel Rouge Allure in Darling
Chanel hydrabase desinvolte (n°85) discontinued. I love this peachy nude. anyway, I love mac siss, loverlon and freckleton (a bit light than chanel hydrabase desinvolte). For special occasions: it depends on the mu, smokey —> chanel désinvolte, mac siss, lancôme rouge absolu in rose précieux (discontinued, but it seems absolu rouge in rose nu has replaced this beautiful vintage version), or if I opt for a natural eyes, YSL Le fuschsia or mac Girl about town.
My go-to is the Magenta Pencil with Violetta over it. 😀

NARS Dolce Vita
Lily Rose from Lancôme’s Ultra Lavande collection has become a staple in my purse. I love how it gives a perfectly natural, smooth, silken look to my medium rose lips. When I want a more “done” lip, I have too many favorites to count! It just depends on what colors I’m wearing and what kind of eye look I’m planning to wear.

I am more of a lipstick junky than shadow/liner/gloss combined by I own the fewest lipsticks because I am so picky about the consistency, color, wear, feel, scent, taste, etc. I love the EL ones but I like the feel of Buxom & especially that I can use the one item to outline & fill–if I have time I line with the Buxom to get the tingle & shape then go over with the EL for color & finish. Had to hit ebay to replace original BW after lost original/DC’d.
Wow, as a total high-end lipstick whore I can’t believe I’m saying this, but for everyday wear Bare Escentual’s Big and Healthy lipstick in ‘Barcelona’ really takes the cake. The pigmentation is intense; a bright slightly blue red. It moisturizes wonderfully and lasts hours and hours! Plus, as decidedly un-luxerious as it may look, the pencil format is so easy to slip in a small make up bag.
Everyday: MAC Hue. Unbeatable!
Special Occasion: YSL Rouge Volupte #17 (bright red)

For special occasions I often go for pink lips, e.g. MAC’s Magenta Lipliner + Clear Gloss on top or MAC’s Girl about Town lipstick.

Wow this is hard for me, since I go through phases. Before it was VG VI, but now I’m into my reds again, so probably Dubonnet, Del Rio, or Revlon Crimson. If I’m in a nude mood, the slimshine in Bare (which is almost finished!!) For something brighter, Funshine!

I cannot WAIT to read all the replies. Its how I do research for my next ‘haul’! I have three go-to’s…in no specific order: Viva Glam V and Hug me by MAC. In the summer its NARS ‘Belle de Jour”with ‘turkish delight’ on top. I’ll do that in the winter as well, but obv, only with a smokey eye….
It depends on my makeup, but either UD Naked or Morgana Cryptoria Azalea Blue.

Right now I’m loving Revlon’s Colorburst lipstick in Lilac. I’m a huge fan of purples and it’s the perfect gentle purple for everyday wear. I’m not a big nude lipstick girl, but I’ve also been digging Rimmel’s Moisture Renew in Spotlight Beige. The formula is like buttah.
For special occasions, MAC Violetta or Covergirl Lip Perfection Divine. Holy purpleness.
Clinique Rose Aglow. its the perfect rosy lip color. I have extremely pigmented lips and this is just beautiful! Its like my lips only better I love love love it!
