Well I gave in and got Play It Proper and Follow Your Fancy from Stylishly Yours this week.
I also phoned Pro in London and bought Reflects Bronze glitter, Reflects Pearl glitter and Marine Ultra pigment. I have been wanting those glitters for a while, and having seen that they are going to come out with the Wonder Woman collection at a premium price I decided to go ahead and order them at regular prices. I had also wanted to get some Mixing Medium, but Pro told me they are out of stock and don’t have a date for when they will get some in. She checked, and said they should have some within about 6 months!!
This weekend I am hoping to get some sleep, but I know I’ve got the supermarket shopping to do and my parents are probably coming over on Saturday. I am hoping to collect my Boots order of Soap & Glory’s Mighty Mouth set, which is currently in the sale. I’m also hoping that Superdrug will finally have received stock of Sleek’s new Molten Metal set – they got the display stand with testers a couple of weeks ago, but as yet have not received the product to put on it!

Weekend plans: Shell out money on a new MAC Book Pro 15″ … ouch.
Skincare product you can’t live without: Sulfur masks for acne. Doesn’t matter what brand the Sulfur helps breakouts overnight beautifully.

Haul: OPI’s Katy Perry polish collection, a 32 oz jug of polish remover (I go through a lot…), and a couple China Glaze and OPI polishes in brighter colors (I’m craving Spring) from transdesign.
Weekend Plans: One of my nephews is coming to visit. He’s 15, so I’m sure I’ll spend most of the weekend playing video games and watching movies. No complaints from me!
Skincare product I can’t live without: Resurf.a.stic… It’s AMAZING. I love ExfoliKATE but I can’t afford to use it regularly, so I bought the resurf.a.stic when it was on sale on hautelook. I use it every couple of days in the shower and my skin has never been in better shape.
I can see why it is a favourite. What a precious fellow Mellan is!

I haven’t gotten it yet, but I ordered quite a bit this week. I finally purchased some Jack Black lip balm because of this blog! Can’t wait to actually try it out.
I also got a new face brush for my BE foundation. It’s from one of Sephora’s line and it got good reviews, so I look forward to it. The BE face brush just feels too scratchy lately :-p
I also ordered a MAC MSF from AllCosmeticsWholesale. I don’t remember the color off the top of my head…something pink. To make the order over $40 for a free gift I also added a Naked pigment sample.
Can’t wait to play with everything once it arrives 😀

Weekend plans: the usual, catch up on cleaning, hockey game, and football on sunday! its been an rough week of work so I’m looking forward to relaxing.
Skincare product you can’t live without: Aveda’s Botanical Kinetics Exfoliant (a toner). I love it so much, I’ve repurchased over and over for about 5 years now.
Haul: I bought another Naked palette for a backup, I received my three free polishes from Zoya, plus one I bought. I picked Charity, Gweneth, Miley, and Daphne. I went to Sephora to pick up the MUFE concealer palette in 1. I’ve been thinking about buying it for months so I’m glad that I finally caved. I also went to MAC and bought a backup of VG Gaga and then I bought Yash online.
Weekend plans: Nothing very interesting!

Haul-walgreens had wetnwild half off so I got all 6 new trios that came out and all the one that have been were out before. And a crib for my sisters baby shower! That was deff my biggest purchase of the week!

I had a dream last night where Benefit released a new blush that was supposed to be the perfect shade for everyone. It was a medium red color with streaks of black and light gray going through it, LOL. I was reading about it on your site, and then decided to visit you. You were kind enough to break off a corner of the blush and put the crumbs in a ratty old office envelope for me to take home and try- in the dream I was so happy about this. LOL, funniest dream I’ve had in a while and so far the only beauty blog-related one I’ve had. 😀

Haul: MAC False Lashes mascara—-thought I had gotten WOO ME Kissable Lip from PEACOCKY, but they put the wrong color in my bag (SUPER) and when I went back to exchange, they were Sold Out of WOO ME. So, now I am on the hunt!!
Weekend plans: baby shopping after work, quick grocery run on Saturday and brunch/Home Depot for more paint for the baby’s room

Anyone know how to get your cat to stop just licking up the gravy from the canned food? I have a very finicky Russian Blue cat (named Logan as in Wolverine from X-Men) who loves doing this. Going to try and find him another canned food that’s minced w/ gravy so he eats it all. He is *such* a prima donna.

This weeks haul – Lancome Butterflies Fever blush, from the new Spring 2011 collection, Ultra Lavande. All I can say is that it’s gorgeous! Almost too pretty to use! Also bought MAC Mega Metal e/s in Papparazz-She, WetnWild Color Icon e/s in Greed and Walking On Eggshells. The Greed set may be going back – I’m reading some reviews that the quality is not so good on this one.
Weekend plans – nothing so far i work every saturday so my weekend doesn’t start till Sunday. But I want to go back to Latham NY and see my friends very soon!

Skincare product you can’t live without: Right now it’s Queen Helene Mud Mask. I just love how my skin feels afterwards and how it draws so much of that deep down dirt out of my pores. Plus my skin is so much brighter after using it too.

Christine, I am looking to try Kate Somerville products what do you recommend for a first time. My skin is combination and Medium to Dark sista. I always her you rave about her products so I thought I might invest in some. I just turn forty so I don’t like a products that going make look older or heavy on face. Any suggestions? I love her Oil-Free Moisturizer and ExfoliKate. Those are easily my two favorite products! The Oil-Free Moisturizer is really lightweight and so comfortable to wear.

HAUL: This was a big haul week for me. I did a wedding the weekend before and made major bucks off the makeovers. I got the TEMPTU airbrush set (eehhhhh, it’s ok), I got an Hourglass eyeshadow duo in Prism (it’s everything MAC’s black tied wish it could be), MSF in Soft and Gentle, kissable lipcolours in Peacocky, Super, Flaunting it, and Strut ur stuff, and Mega Metal shadows in Paparazzshe, Mating Call, Ego, Odalisque, Tweet me, and Centre stage. I also got NARS’s Taj Mahal blush and an old MAC quad, Photo Realism, that I found at a CCO.
Weekend plans: working my 2 jobs, job hunting (finally graduated, now it’s time for a real job), engagment party, and spending time with the love of my life, my son.
Skincare item I can’t live without: Murad Oil control mattifying lotion. I’ve been super oily AAALLLLLLLLL my life, but I discovered this about 6 months ago, and I have been oil free ever since. It’s my life saver.
Haul… I bought OPI Not Like The Movies, OPI Black Shatter, Essie Flirt (LOVE!!) and BeYu 331 Alligator Lace nail polishes. I also ordered a couple of permanent MAC eye shadows.
Weekend “plans”… to cool and allay the pain in my bruised leg and knee, no fun for me this weekend 🙁

Baby Mellan!! Just had to get that out of my system. My dog Zoey is an 11 year old rescue miniature poodle, and people ask me all the time, “How old is your puppy?” I also have a super young face, so I like to think we were meant to end up together for that reason, among others. 🙂
Latest beauty crafting project: depotting the new Wet n’ Wild eyeshadow trios. I got Silent Treatment and Spoiled Brat (I just can’t say no to a super sparkly black). I have no classes on Friday this semester, so today’s been really great and relaxed.
This week’s haul: oh lord. 2 free Zoyas (Cola and Valerie), like 7 of the new Wet n’ Wild Fast Dry polishes, those 2 WnW palettes, Refined MSF, MAC Wipes, Urban Decay Stardust eyeshadow in Retrograde, 2 Prestige lip liners, and a Jesse’s Girl nail polish. Thank GOD for drugstore sales, blog sales, and swapping, LOL.
I have to think of something to bring to potluck brunch on Sunday morning! Any suggestions, anyone?

Haul: Just got my TKB Trading order, 25 26mm eyeshadow pans, some new micas, some empty palettes, and a set of mini spoons. Yey! Can’t wait to make some shadows.
Weekend: Make shadows, cook and prepare some dinners for the week.

No Hauls for me this week, my mum finally cut me off. 😀 As someone who has never worn make up in her life she is absolutely appalled that I spend as much as I do on cosmetics, and since I have to use her credit card for purchases she decides when enough is enough. I can’t sleep at night with out dreaming of that Cle de Peau lipstick in Red Abundance though, ahhh the glorious richness of the shade…

Skincare product that you can’t live with out: Don’t have one really. For someone with such extravagent tastes in make up, I’m perfectly content with whatever bit of soap and dallop of lotion is laying around. Something with spf is a must though.

Haul: a red and nude lipliner from Boots No.7 along with a lipgloss from them (3 for 2), suugarpill burning hearts and sweetheart palettes and tiara chromolust, and MAC see sheer lipstick 😀 more than usual

Skincare: zineryt, a perscription acne thing which makes my skin super clear (the way to have as close to perfect skin as possible)

Haul: From MAC, I got Posey Blushcreme, Saffron e/s (so pretty!), So Vain Kissable Lipcolour & Dark Diversion Fluidline (my very first!). From Urban Decay, I got the Summer of Love eyeshadow palette, Morphine 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil, Greedy Afterglow Cheek Tint & the Good Karma shading brush. I also got NARS Little Darling Lipstick and a Bobbi Brown lip gloss trio.
Skincare product you can’t live without: I really love Clean & Clear Morning Burst In-Shower Facial. I have sensitive skin that is really prone to dryness, so I only exfoliate once a week and this is the only scrub I’ll use. You leave it on in the shower for a minute and then rub it over your face, a mask & scrub in one. It smells terrific and makes my skin feel so soft afterward.
Oh he’s adorable! Labrador? How old now? I have a Flatcoated retriever, he will be 2 in april.. Retrivers are the best =)
