($28.00 for 6 x 0.01 oz.) includes these shades: No. 1 (bright turquoise), No. 2(violet purple), No. 3 (pearl white), No. 4 (black), No. 5 (espresso), and No. 6 (gold with silver micro glitter).
- No. 1 is a medium blue with a little aqua lean.
- No. 2 is a brightened violet with satin sheen.
- No. 3 is a frosted warm-toned white.
- No. 4 is a medium-dark black.
- No. 5 is a medium-dark brown with warm undertones.
- No. 6 is a yellow gold with silver glitter.
These eyeliners look lovely when swatched, but they do not perform half as well on the eyes. They are drier and have a tendency to tug on the lash line, rather than glide-on and apply smooth, solid color. They pull and tug, which results in a faded, patchy look–not at all sexy! I don’t own any of Buxom’s Insider Eyeliners (which are their twist-up liners), but I did test them out in-store and found these to be incredibly different in formula. If you were hoping that this set was comparable, it’s definitely not.
I wasn’t able to achieve the pigmented, vibrant color on the lash line that I was able to get on my arm. The wear seemed to last, but since it already looked a bit patchy, it was hard to tell what faded. I wouldn’t say that wear is where this product goes wrong–it’s really the lack of creaminess or softness that would help the product glide on the lash line smoothly.

wow these things are tiny!!!!!
#3 and #6 don’t look very pigmented at all so I can imagine how terribly they transfer onto the eyes. It’s a shame they don’t live up to their potential; the colors are pretty!

I love their lipglosses. Some people don’t like them though, because they tingle. But I love them.

I will leave this, but a suggestion – if you love the colors (and they are quite lovely!), and you can’t leave it, try wetting a brush with UD transforming potion, fixing spray or mixing medium, and swiping the eye pencil to make it creamier. The addition of the medium might make it stay longer. If anyone has these handy, I’d love to know how it works out (I don’t have the Buxom liners). I’m forever in love with UD 24/7 pencils, but I love to try new stuff!
I love the Insider Liners, and I was very disappointed by these. I returned them, but have since been wondering if maybe I just got a bad set. Apparently I didn’t.
Which sucks, because the colors are gorgeous beyond all reason.

I wanted this , but I will pass and just stick to UD or something for colored eyeliners
I’ve tried the Buxom Insider Eyeliners and they were really awful for me, they smeared everywhere and traveled down to my cheeks within a couple of hours. Oddly enough they lasted a really long time on my upper eyelid but that’s not why I bought them! I think I’ll give these a pass and stick with my UD 24/7s 🙂

Wow SUPER tiny!!! I’ll stay with my UD liners…
One thing they have going for them is that since they are small, they aren’t pencils. When you get mini-liners in pencil form I feel like you lose a lot of it in sharpening. Too bad about the formula though!
I used to work at Bare Essentials and even though they say everything natural and has no preservatives.. They DO! They aren’t in the product but in the packaging at least for the foundation!! They say they have no waxes but eyeliners that are in a pencil form have to have some kind of wax and preservative in order to keep bacteria at bay!! Beware!
It’s very similar to the Bourjois mini color exciting eyeliners, all I can say. who’s duplicating who…
