Tarte Tarteist Pro to Go Eye Palette for Spring 2017

Two new Pro to Go Palettes for Spring 2017.

Highlight/Contour Palette available now, TBA for Eye Palette

Editor’s Note: I have a hunch that the eye palette is launching exclusively at Sephora 11/28 for early access, as these, along with several other products that are exclusively for Cyber Monday, just went “live” this morning.

Tarteist Pro to Go Highlight & Contour Palette, $23.00 (Permanent, Sephora Exclusive)

The Tarteist Pro To Go Highlight & Contour Palette delivers the perfect glow with three pigments designed to enhance all skin tones. Each carefully selected, universally flattering hue has a rich undertone that mimics real shadow and light reflection on the face for natural-looking, chiseled definition. The matte contour powder sculpts a gorgeous look, while two intense highlighting powders deliver buildable shimmer for a strobing effect. Each fade-free shade can be layered or worn alone for a radiant, long-wear finish.

Agreed!
My O.C.D just can’t handle it!
Even worse than that, I bought the Tarte Light of the Party Palette last year.
Not only did they have different palette shapes but all the eyeshadow pans were each embossed with the Tarte Logo…. but on one of the eyeshadows, the logo was upside down!
They obviously just put it the wrong way around but it drove me crazy!
I tried removing the pan to stick it back in the right way but couldn’t get it out without wrecking the palette or cracking the shadow.
So, instead, I just made sure to use that shade a heap to wear off the imprint.
You’d think they’d check for such defects before sending out the palettes but I guess that one just slipped through.
Maybe Tarte just likes to mess with us?!

Hi Christine,

In the Tarteist Pro To Go Amazonian Clay Palette description, it states that there are “four separate rows.” Am I not seeing two additional rows? I can only see two rows. Or, am I confused, if so, please forgive me. I’m kind of interested in this palette. Thanks for the post about this palette!

No need for an apology at all. I was just making sure that my eyes wasn’t deceiving me….lol. And stupid, you are not! I appreciate all of the hard work that you share with us.

I own the larger eye palette and love it. Very pigmented and so many pretty colors. But I am definitely going to purchase the Highlighter/Contour Palette. The highlighters look as if it would go with many skintones.

Are the Tartiest eye products a different formula from their regular eye shadow palettes, like in the Tartelettes or their blogger palettes like Swamp Queen? I thought all the palettes had the same formula, so this branding is confusing to me.

If this eye palette had a creamy matte for the brow bone, something like Becca Opal for a highlight shade and a darker brown to define/line the eye, this palette would be perfect. I guess then it wouldn’t qualify as “to go” size though. Hmph…I’d make room in my makeup bag. ☺

I would even trade the cream matte for a warm browny green like Ardency Inn Peacock. Yes…I would love a green.
