Skin tone: I wear UD Naked in 3.25, so according to the foundation matrix I’m N18?
Favorite Product: Fell in LOVE with the Smashbox Always On Liquid Lip in Stepping Out. Wore it nearly every day.
Face/Cheek: I used the Tarte blush in Prim I got in a Sephora Favorites set for my blush almost every day. Perfectly natural looking.
Eye: After not using it for months, I’ve been reaching for my Naked Basics 2 palette a ton because it’s the time of year where I like to go full neutral with my face.

Favorite product this month?
The highlighter in the Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Contour Trio in Sultry. I just love it. Yesterday I started mixing the two darker colors to experiment using as a blush, and again today I am loving that too. I thought I would use just the highlighter, but am finding this little trio to be quite nice overall. It lasts, has a nice smooth color payoff, and it’s $21 full price.

The one thing I wish is that Viseart had more tutorials for each palette as well as mixing and matching them. So many options, and I would love some guidance. It would be fun.

Yes, the possibilities are numerous and for non professionals it can be overwhelming! I started to check instagram for fun ideas, using tags such as #viseart, #viseartpalette, etc.

Hardly an earth shattering discovery, but I thought I’d share. I was in a super hurry this morning. Late, late, late for a meeting. Every second counted! I didn’t want to search around for my ABH brow whiz so I used the neutral palette. I was nervous how it would turn out. FABULOUS! I mixed two of the browns together and it’s the best! I’ll be using that instead of my other stuff from here on out.
Just thought I’d pass it on in case you haven’t tried it. I will suggest trying in on a weekend or when you don’t have to go to work, just in case you don’t like the resulting color. 🙂 For me, it was a wonderful accidental find.

That is actually a good point! I will make a few tests. When you have 5-10mins for a full face, picking and opening items up make you lose so much time!

Favorite product this month: NARS Indes Galante eyeshadow duo. It caught my attention in the store and it is just stunning on the eyes! (Interesting side note: The cooler $18 Lorac Black Friday palette looks great with Indes Galante as base.) Honorable mention goes to Guerlain’s lipstick in Rouge Saphir, my perfect red for the holiday season.

I haven’t been wearing makeup much this month because my skin has been freaking out. So I took this time to perfect my skincare routine. I have found that the best thing for my skin when it’s acting crazy is to use less products. So to make a longgggg story short…lol…My favorite product this month was the Philosophy Purity. It’s simplistic formula saved my skin.

Lashes! I haven’t been wearing much eye makeup due to laziness…lol…so I’ve been amping up my look with natural wispy lashes.

Favorite product this month: Heimish Glow Base
Most used face/cheek product: Marc Jacobs Remarkable foundation. I have used it either alone or mixed with my other favorite foundation the Chosungah 22 C & T foundation. I mentioned recently that I was loving the MJ foundation for its coverage but didn’t like how flat it made my skin look. I started mixing the two and I really love the mix. When I add the glow base it gives me the perfect amount of coverage without leaving my face looking flat and one dimensional.
Most used eye product this month: This is a tough one because I do change out my eye shadow every day. Recently I have been reaching for my Chocolate Bon Bon palette quite a bit. It was the answer to a question recently and it reminded me to bust it out.

Favorite product this month: Chanel Vitalumiere Compact Douceur powder. I have to admit I only bought this for touch ups (when there was a 30% discount), but it’s not that great for touching up during the day – the coverage is really sheer. I used it instead for setting my liquid foundation and it’s beautiful, it feels very lightweight and doesn’t take away the luminosity from my base.
Most used face/cheek product this month: Mac Gingerly. It works very well with most of my favorite autumn lip colors: Nars Jane, Ofra Miami Fever, Kat Von D Lolita 2, Mac chilli… (I guess you can say I have an earthy orangy phase this autumn)
Most used eye product this month: My Mac single eyeshadows from my Z palette. I’ve forgotten how great these classic eyeshadows are with all the palette choices out there. Falling back in love with All that glitters, Woodwinked, Satin Taupe, Cork, Kid, Soft Brown…. all those oldies but goodies that got me started with eyeshadow obsessions.
Coloring: light, NC20, medium brown hair and eyes

I use my MAC customized palette everyday. All that glitters, Woodwinked, Naked Lunch, soft brown, wedge and patina are some of my most used eyeshadows

When I wear Nillionaire, I USUALLY do a matte warm brown in the crease/on the hood, then pat Nillionaire onto my mobile lid, and then I’ll lightly buff a dark dark matte brown in the outer V!!!
That’s my go to look with Nillionaire.
But when I went on vacation, and took Nillionaire, and had like 5 minutes for makeup, I would just pat it onto my mobile lid and add lots of mascara!!!

I like the Carli Bybel palette. I don’t follow her but I got it to try bh cosmetics. Really pretty colors for an affordable price

Bijou royal ! Love everything about it, the muted colours, the shine of the shadows, the use and the many compliments it gets me when I wear it! I might event try to use the green shadows on its own (which is a big deal as I am not into greens at all!)

Le kiko bouncy blush in velvet peach. Perfect every day blush that I can just put on even if I don’t wear foundation. Gives me a healthy look. I also have a project plan on it because I got too enthusiastic and bought an unnecessary back up lol

Favorite product of the month: ABH Trust Issues liquid lipstick (deep, cool raisin) or NYX control freak brow gel in clear. I’m not usually a big fan of NYX but it has great hold and doesn’t quite darken my brows but seems to make them more matte or opaque, so it provides really beautiful and natural looking definition.
Most used cheek product of the month: NYX Taupe blush and Becca Pearl cream highlighter is my daily. For an actual color, MAC Blushbaby.
Most used eye product of the month: Stila black liquid eyeliner pen. For a color combo, MAC Vex and ABH Buon Fresco. I am a weirdo who did not love Modern Ren, but that particular shade was such a standout I repurchased after giving the palette to my sister.

Face/cheek: UD 3.0 foundation with UD Fetish blush… wouldn’t have picked it from appearance, but on me, its perfect blush color. I think i objectively look better with it on, and i am not a blush person!
Eye: easy… in trying to be neater, I just have one palette out now, using it daily, alone, for weeks.. Naked (1) the original. All kinds of great looks when I force myself to use only that! I’m getting out Pulp Fiction next tho after reading other poster mentioning that one…

~nw 20-25, lt to med coolish. Liking the lip glide set, (unspeakable, Erin!) as well as the Julep matte mousse trio. Tearing myself away from the summer DI palette, but only to colapop and burnt pepper. Still don’t understand why I never got a Taraji, when others did. Think they refunded me, though. Eyes: used Ciate small smouldering mostly today. Need to use bijoux more, and some of those blessed mufes. Liking the Julep pencils, but used mufe and Sephora Loft…all 3 taupe, today. Julep has done an even bigger leap than abh, methinks. From a nail co to KB skincare and pretty decent color products.

Favorite product this month? Guerlain Lingerie de Peau in 00N Porcelain fixed with MUFE Chromatic Mix in 1 White. I finally bought this foundation after hearing about it for so many years and I am so glad I did! I am very excited to have it in my collection and have a great mixer for it to make it light enough for my skin.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Hourglass Strobe Ambient Lighting Powder in Incadescent, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light, and Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone (it is fantastic mixed in with Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in Snow).
Most used eye product this month? Marc Jacobs Beauty About Last Night Style Eye Con No 20 Eyeshadow Palette. I have been using the KVT MetalMatte palette a lot too, but Marc Jacobs actually wins for the incredible formula that does not even feel like it is on my eyes.

Also, I’ve been loving this dark brown, slightly shimmery Milani lipstick (I think the shade is Espresso?) that I bought on a whim at Dollar General, mostly because I was so surprised that my Dollar General had started carrying a few Milani products.

I use it along with SkinMedica Ha5 that I got at my dermatologist’s office. Most used eye product this month: my new Tartelette In Bloom palette! I had it on my wishlist all year long and I finally got it. I absolutely adore this palette and I should have gotten it a long time ago!
