Hard to believe, but I count 9 matte, and 2 or 3 shimmer colors that I don’t have (assuming the 16 colors to the left are all matte). If this performs well — which I don’t have high hopes for — this would be a serious consideration.
Agreed! I am definitely going to keep an eye out for swatches. We KNOW tarte can make decent shadows just not sure if this is it.
What makes this for professional use? The name rubs me wrong because I don’t see Tarte shadows as (always) great quality. But it looks like a nice palette.. I’m interested.
Is this permanent?
Their site does not say limited edition, but I’m not sure.
It is permanent. They answered me on Instagram when I asked about it.
If it is permanent, it’s giving me some hope that it’s not their formula from their holiday palettes.
I’m hoping that it’s similar to the Tartelette In Bloom palette’s formula. The style of pan and ingredients look similar, and it does have the same vanilla extract for the scent.
I heard its an early release from the Spring 2017 line. So I’m guessing it won’t be the Holiday formula
Oooo I really like this palette! I’m so glad I didn’t get any other holiday releases from Tarte. I’ll be hunting for this one if it’s available at Ulta.
Bustle said it is not LE.Im thinking about getting this I don’t have a ton of mattes.
Hmmm, I like the color combos here and mix of mattes/shimmers, but I’m curious if this “Pro Amazonian” formula is any better than their regular formula.
Christine do you Know if the shadows are made in China or US?
Sorry, I don’t have this, so I don’t have any packaging that would tell me something like that.
The US, according to what I’ve read elsewhere.
This really catches my eye. I hope the quality is good.
How about that?! I knew if I waited long enough the right combo would show up. This could be it, depending on how it reviews.
i feel like between tartelette palettes (original and bloom), i’m covered. what do you say?
The range of plum and warm notes certainly interest me! I can’t remember any other palette with this range of mattes, and Tarte seems to have been good with matte shadows generally. I wish stores here would carry it so I could swatch it in person sigh. Do you think you’ll be reviewing this, Christine?
If this one is as excellent as the permanent Amazonian Clay eyeshadows, I definitely want it! It actually *looks* as if both permanent palettes have their core elements combined in one palette.
I agree. I need a little oomph to my neutrals, and purples with my brown eyes looks nice. I think I’m going to jump in this one as I could use a shimmer infusion too.
I just wish that blue was a bit more teal. Can’t win ’em all.
This palette’s color combination is so appealing to me. Quite unique with the palettes I already own. Any thoughts about the formula?
Is it just me or does this look like the Anastasia Modern Renaissance palette?
I thought the same thing, but this one is not as warm/has more neutrals than the modern renaissance palette.
I wonder if those shimmer shadows are their new formula for the LE metallic singles.
Actually, I think this is a pretty good deal – I like the no fuss shades, I just wish there were some cool toned greys/taupes in there.
Does anyone know if it’ll be available at Sephora?
It is so big but some really pretty shades in this palette I look forward to your review. Vintage and Classic look similar but maybe one is shimmer and the other is matte. A few seem very similar in color just slight difference.
All the squares are matte, the circles are shimmer. I agree they look very similar, but I feel as if i would use them a lot, so if I run out of one I can use the other
this kinda reminds me of their holiday paint palette thats out now honestly i think ill pass.
I love the looks of this one, with all the warmer shades. I do wonder though, if I have the two Tartelettes plus ABH Modern Renaissance, if this would still be worth getting for me. I want to read reviews and see swatches before I decide for sure.
It depends on the swachtes… 🙂
Beautiful 🙂 Anyone have info yet if this will be at Ulta and Sephora?
Interested!
I have this palette and it is gorgeous. I swatched it on my snap chat channel today. The formula feels very similar to the Tartelette in Bloom. All of the shadows swatched really well. And the foils are beautiful. The shadows are not like each other and each row across to the right can create a look. They are very pigmented. Packaging is beautiful. I can travel with just this palette and be good for work or evening looks. I can’t wait to create looks. Will post them on my Instagram channel (same name)

If you had to choose between Abh modern renaissance and tarte pro palette, what would you choose?
Modern Renaissance
