Sneak Peek: Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick Duos & Gold Creme Lip Gloss Photos & Swatches

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick Duos
Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick Duos

There are four Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick Duos ($14.00 for 0.10 oz.) available, and they are all limited edition. I bought three of the four to try, as they included one new shade (the metallic shade). The fourth duo is Opal/Jam, which I believe I have reviewed before (Opal here and here), when they released Opal as a limited edition shade. I also bought the new Gold Creme Lip Gloss, which is out of stock online, but there’s a swatch below for your reference.

I want all three, especially the rose gold one! I swatched the ‘standalone’ gold gloss, and for me it’s a bit too yellow gold me, even as a topper; 1970’s gold lame look sprung to mind. These look both more moderate and developed to coordinate with a nice main color. I bet these go fast.

I am waiting not so patiently for that good crème to come back in stock! I’m also in love with the sour cherry/gold combo. Will these be sold at Sephora’s physical stores or just online?

I bought the gold creme gloss in store last Saturday. I’ve seen it in other Sephora stores since (there are many in my area!), but each store has been out of stock apart from the one where I purchased mine. I am hoping the duos are in store soon!!! The other holiday bite items are all out in store as well but not the duos. I assume they will show up soon, probably in the checkout lane/travel section – I keep looking there!!

Whew! Looks like I picked the right one. I ordered Pepper/Bronze a couple of days ago, sight unseen — have been eyeing Pepper for a while, and don’t have too many bronze lippies in my stash, suppose to come by Mon. The swatch of Bronze looks a little chunky, but I think a little lip balm will smooth it out, and it pairs beautifully with Pepper. Debating on whether I should go for Fig/Rose Gold, it might be too close to MAC Star Trek Where No Man Has Gone Before. And glad I skipped that Gold Creme Lip Gloss – too OTT for me, reminds me of Christmas tinsel !

I am not typically a lipstick person, but I really like that Pepper/Bronze combo! Also, I’m not sure if the metallic shade is supposed to be marble-y and swirled like that or if it’s a mixing issue, but it looks really cool 🙂

I just picked up the cherry/gold one. I missed out last year on the duos, so I made sure to be quick about it this year! Plus, with the gold sparkle …the most festive lip duo ever! I love that they did this! I haven’t gotten to experience the amouse bouche formula yet either. Plus with some points, I got a mini in gazpacho! Great deal!!

I love the Rose Gold/Fig combo, the Pepper/Bronze and the Sour Cherry/Gold. The stand alone gold is way to yellow for me to pull off and looks a bit chunky. I will have to limit myself to just one and can’t decide which to get. I am leaning towards the Sour Cherry/Gold but will have to swatch on my skin tone to decide.

The duos are splendid and very cool! I love that this time they did a lipstick and a topper lipstick in rich yet sheer metallics. Not sure which one I’m getting, but I’m getting one!
The gold gloss, though. I’ve seen it on several others and yourself, I just don’t feel drawn to it, though. It’s just *too* glittery and OTT for me, I guess. And not much ever is.

I was very skeptical initially, but those are really nice. I especially like the rose gold/fig and the gold/sour cherry. In reality I can almost never bring myself to wear such a bright or bold lipstick even though I love the look of them on others, but I’m not sure I can resist gold/sour cherry. The two together are pretty irresistible.
