I am torn because Bite has put out some great holiday sets this year, but the first set of lipsticks has too many repeats for me, and so does the Discovery Set. The Bite Redux with the matte pencils is unique to me, but the shades are too far out of my comfort zone for regular wear. I am still holding out hope for some dual-ended mini lipsticks!
Oh drats 🙁 I look forward to BITE’s holiday sets every year, but I have way too many red lipsticks, so none of these are going to work for me. And Cava is a zombie nude for me.
Ooh, I’m kind of drawn to the limited edition red but I wonder how it compares to reds in the permanent line?
These Bite mini sets always call out to me, but I think back to the one from last year that I still haven’t used yet… and I should be good about not buying anything. I wish they’d come out with more limited edition colours in these sets, I want that Discovery set but I already have Beetroot 🙁
Nothing really new here.. disappointing actually.
Possibly the Discovery Set for moi? Idk about the Lip Crayon shade, though. It appears to be extremely pale nude. But Beetroot is a lovely shade and I have always wanted to try the Agave Lip Mask, especially during winter here. The air really can get terribly dry, windy, and even cold!
I think I still prefer the Amuse Bouche mini set that was a VIB Rouge exclusive from a couple of weeks ago! I’ve always found BITE’s Nude shades are more wearable on medium skintones!
While I’m not sure if I would want to purchase a whole kit, Truffle and Fraise do look like beautiful shades. It’s too bad they are LE.
Truffle and Fraise are actually part of the permanent line. The only LE shade in that set is “Orchid”! So have no fear 🙂
I’ll certainly get the lip pencil set and probably Mistletoe!
…Am I reading this correctly? 0.03 ounces, less than one milliliter?
Well, actually don’t have any dupes for redux, good. Am I off, or is Cava not the same shade? I quite remember a lavender beige, rather than this shade. Prob more things for my bite bag, as I have eyed Fraise and Truffle, but never quite bit. (Sorry, had to.) Just spent on glasses…so won’t jump on these. turns out I didn’t need new glasses, after 6 years of forced neglect. Same script. But, I was right, I no longer need bifocals. Apparently that’s not very unusual. For someone who has won glasses since before the JFK assassination, that’s good news. Kept the cost down a couple of ways, but don’tcha hate it when something eats your makeup money?
I didn’t get these sets last year, and I was *kicking* myself over it – I’m trying not to buy any new makeup, but I may have to get these sets…
In the description for the Discover set, I think they mixed up Leche with Beetroot. Perhaps it should read: The Amuse Bouche Lipstick provides a bold, matte, lip that is long lasting and hydrating while the Matte Crème Lip Crayon in Leche is the perfect neutral.
I bought this set and quite agree that Leche is a good neutral but I found that it felt and appeared very dry. Maybe I’ll use it as a lip liner. Everything else in the box is ok. My main issue is that I can’t get the hard plastic “holder” out of the tin. I want to reuse the tin but need to get the packaging plastic out and it won’t come out. Anybody have any ideas? If this plastic won’t come out, I might actually return this set!
