bareMinerals Be Beautiful READY Face & Eye Palette ($45.00 for 0.58 oz.) contains six eyeshadows and four cheek colors (including one finishing powder). Often, bareMinerals’ Ready Palettes are cardboard, but this palette featured plastic, and it was fairly hefty to hold. The palette includes shades previously released as well as a few new ones.

As I mentioned on other Bare Mineral posts today, I am just not impressed. Like everyone else here so far, they all look the same. How many pale neutral shades does one person need. So far this holiday season is not wowing me.

You have to work to say something pleasant. They threw in a couple of quasi-cools and a dark (in yet another warm neutral <nc 20 palette.) sorry, I couldn't really do it, and resorted to snarky. C, your eyes must have glazed over. These palettes are like the grand tour in five days. They all look the same and run together in your mind. I thought makeup was supposed to be fun! And holiday Is supposed to oooooh and aaaaaah us. Not happening. Really getting sick of the predictability of brands. BM, Tarte, tf: I pronounce you guilty as charged.

I guess I am their lone target market. 🙂 I haven’t bought a neutral palette in a loong time and have been on a lookout for one. I work in a conservative environment. And I am 42 and just can’t pull off the more exciting colors anymore. So, for me, I think I might get this (after testing of course).

Same here, conservative job and age. I prefer the no makeup look or neutrals for work, these are just handy for travel. On special occasion I’ll go for darker or colorful looks, but I have a lot of the loose eyeshadows for that don’t travel well.

As a pale girl who tends to have a heavy hand, this palette looks great! I hope it performs reasonably well. I love that the shade selection is simple without any unnecessary duplicates, which I find to be a major flaw in most neutral palettes these days.
