Hair
Nelson Vercher, stylist at the Rita Hazan Salon, created the “hat bun” for the SS 2011 Costello Tagliapietra show. Inspired by lady-like glamour with an updated push, Vercher took the classic chignon/bun and made it modern.
“It is all about the placement of the bun – slightly askew and almost above your ear. We want to create a little “hat” from the bun so we flattened the bun against the head. This creates more of a hair ornament than an actual bun. After you have secured the bun, we messed the hair a little to add texture,” says Nelson. “It is an easy updo that can be simple enough for day or sexy for the evening.”
I’m sorry, but those women could use a freaking double cheeseburger.
Hahaha-and fries with gravy and a chocolate milkshake too1
Nah. They’re models: it’s their job to be skinny.
I love love the simple classy makeup for this look. Oh so soft and woman.
I really don’t like the look at all. It’s not often that I can’t find something I like in runway makeup looks or MAC looks but this is so…blah! It looks ok in the face chart but the model in the second pic looks like she has a cold.
