I’ve really been liking how MAC Superior looks on my lips so I would use that for the lips.. And perhaps a little blacktrack to create a wing tip for my eyes.

baby in a corner Avatar

I would pair them with gorgeous gold eyeshadow on the eyes and false lashes for definition. Pink pop of blush such as UD quickie on the cheeks and baby pink lipgloss such as stila grapefruit! Thanks Temptalia!

Isabelle Avatar

Hey! I’d really love to win these! I saved up for this collection but ended up not having enough for eyeshadows 🙁 But I’d put it with shroom for the highlight and pink swoon for blush and maybe angel or hue for the lip. I’m a huge fan! Keep being amazing!

Elise Avatar

I would pair it with goldmine! The gold will give some shimmer to the look. I would create a beachie look!
Politely Pink on the lips! Thanks for your contest love your website

Lyndsay Avatar

I’d pair it with a brown in the crease, light bronzer for the cheeks, and a nude lip. When I wear colors in the blue family I feel like the rest needs to be toned down so I don’t come off looking crazy. Just my comfort area.

cady Avatar

i’d use them as pops of color as eyeliners on top, bottom, or both lash lines! maybe even use both with the lighter shade on the inner half of the eye and blended with the darker on the other half! 🙂

Lize Avatar

As far as eyeshadows go, I’d probably use them as a liner or use them on the lower lashline, with a neutral color on the lid and a medium brown in the crease. Or, I would use them with for example Vanilla on the lid and then put these colours in the crease!

ciaomichaella Avatar

I’d probably pair Aqua and Sky Blue w/ Urban Decay’s Flipside eyeliner and Gunmetal or Perversion eyeshadow on the crease, then Ricepaper as a brow highlight.

Catalina Nicole Avatar

I would definetly pair one of my dare to wear lip colors with the eye shadows. The colors areas vibrant, fun, and perfect for a night out on the town.

virginia Avatar

I Would Use whe Aqua As A Crease Color and Sky Blue As And Outer corner color. On The Lid I would Put Vanilla pigment. And As an Eyeliner, Urban Decay’s Silver Glitter Liner.

monika-luiza Avatar

There are several options, but my favorite would be to “just” dust Aqua over my lid pair it with a matte highlighter like Gesso and top the look with a winged black eyeliner and lots of mascara (waterline &bottom lashes stay au naturel) I just love how would look with my pale complexion. I can also imagine how both aqua and sky blue would look good with silver-grey shadow in the crease

Kelly dunigan Avatar

I would use them together with a bright yellow and viberant green i cant give names as i dont own any mac as my nearest store is over an hour away n i cant drive lol x

Molly Avatar

I would wear them together on my lid, with Aqua on the inner half and Sky blue on the outer half, then either a darkish navy color or a royal blue color in the crease, pink cheeks, like Dollymix from MAC, and a bright pink lip like Centrifuschia from Lime Crime!

Sally Avatar

I’d probs pair them with something like Patina or All That Glitters on the lid, with Blacktrack and mascara. Dallas by Benefit on the cheeks, Angel lipstick, and I’m good to go!

Suzy R Avatar

Hi Christine. This is a tough one as I haven’t worn Aqua or Sky Blue eyeshadow in 20 or more years! LOL! That, said, I think I’d have fun with these 2, together, and pair them with the new MAC Superslick eyeliner in Marked for Glamour, keep my cheeks natural in Laura Mercier blush in “Wild Bouquet” and go with a gloss on the lips — I was thinking MAC “Docile” — but that might be too much blue, so probably MAC “Spree”!

Brittany Avatar

I love the idea of a light blue wash of color all over the lid. So with simple eyes, I’d pair flawless skin, a subtle contour, a cool-toned blush and a pale lip.

Clara Avatar

I’d pair them with satin taupe on the crease and some really dark brown eyeshadow on the outter corners, and brown pencil liner. On the lips I’d wear an orange lipstick such as Shy Girl 🙂

Karen Avatar

For eyes: I’d fade sky blue unto aqua on the lid, and blend out aqua outwards. I’d make a black cut crease, and a very white highlight, like NYX Milk jumbo eye pencil. Lastly, line the lashline with a liquid liner, and a small wing.

Cheeks: Very, very lightly applied MAC’s Melba blush.

Lips: MAC’s Dream Lisptick, with Alexander MqQueen for MAC Nothingness lipglass.

Aly Avatar

I would love to pair those eyeshadows with black to do a perfect blue smokey eye or I would wear them by it´s own and for the rest of my face a baby pink blush and a nude pinky lip !
I loooooove blue eyeshadows !!!

Becca Avatar

I would pair these two eyeshadows with Urban Decay Virgin as a highlight, black eyeliner, and black mascara. For the face, I’d keep it simple with By Candlelight MSF, and a nude lipstick.

Rachel Avatar

I think they’d go fabulous with a nice pale color like Shroom. Or to mix it up and maybe make it a little smokier, Knight… I could do something fabulous with those!

(Also retweeted to share the awesome! ^.~)

Siobhan:) Avatar

Since these colours are so pale i’d probably do a dramatic black eyeliner with it using MAC’s Blacktrack fluidline because I love that eyeliner 🙂 for lips i’d use my favourite combination of Plink! Lipstick and Love Nectar Lustreglass 🙂

Cassie Avatar

I would pair with a bright girly pink lip like the Lady Gaga Viva Glam lipstick! On my eyes I would use a soft white pearl shadow with classic black.

I could also just use the blues and go with brown eyeliner with a nude lip as well.

Laura Avatar

I’d pair aqua and sky blue with “lime”, “zingy” (zingy is my alltime-favourite) or the “teal” pigment. I think with those light and bright colours it’s better to stay in the blue/green colour sheme.

Kajsa/Monticka Avatar

My answer is the same as it was in your other giveway!

I’d pair it with the funky Dare to wear lipglass, Gimme that!
I don’t have it (altho I want to), but I know it would look so cool on me, along with everything blue because it has some blue to it! Unique aswell!

RT’ed, nickname: Monticka

hannah Avatar

i would create a doll eye look with skyblue on my lid and aqua on my crese witha winged black liquid eyeliner and full lashes! also with a matte peach blush and yellow glittery lip gloss!

Danielle :) Avatar

i would put aqua on the lid and sky blue on the outer corner and then put allthatglitters in the crease so it would’nt be too blue. since the eyes would be pretty bold i would do a really light blush like MAC pinch O peach and really light lips like clinique pink me up lip smoothie 🙂

tammy Avatar

I would probably pair the aqua and sky blue with violet like MAC “parfait amour” or navy and use a peachy/coral lipstick (like MAC “ever hip” or “vegas volt”)…

Tori Avatar

I would have to pair them with green and yellow. And then I would use a silver in the inner and outer corners and make a cat eye, maybe some curly designs at the outer corner of one eye. I definitely like to wear things bright and wild!

Amy Avatar

I would use it as liner on the upper lash line with a smokey neutral eye (all that glitters, mulch, and carbon in the outter corner) and blankety lipstick all from MAC.

mandy Avatar

I’d use carbon in the outer corner to make it a little smokey then maybe ricepaper as a highlight. since the eyes are bold i’d use a nude or light pink liglass and orgasm blush

Juicy_melon Avatar

I would pair it with some neutral eyeshadow on the lid and in the crease… I would put aqua and sky blue on lower lash line as an accent colors… and I would add some accessories in aqua and blue to my outfit just for an extra kick =)))

WithIt Avatar

I would pair these colors with a light-brownish color in the crease and use them on my lid (together or separate). Then, an fair highlighter color on the brow-bone. Follow with a natural blush and a nude lipstick so that my eyes really pop! 🙂

Heli Avatar

I would do a tropical look and combine them with Fyrinnae’s turquoise Bali Mynah and electric blue 1.22 Gigawatts. I really like to combine matte and shimmery shades together.

I’d keep my cheeks and lips more subtle with Utterly Game blush and Ever Hip on lips.

Cindy Avatar

It depends on what I’m wearing. I like to match my shadows to my clothes. My posibilities are endless so it could be pink, purple, gold, silver, white, black and of course shroom is always my highlight

KAM Avatar

For the eyes: I would pair Aqua and Sky Blue with Poison Plum (from Sugarpill) in the crease along with Carbon also in the crease for a little depth. I would use a white shimmer color for the highlight. To top it off I would do a winged liner.

For the cheeks: I would use Petticoat.

For the lips: I would use Jazzed lipstick.

Traciepoo Avatar

I would use Aqua as my lid color then put Shock-a-holic (dare to wear collection) in the crease and outer v and lower lash, blend the crease with some saddle and Brule on the brow bone.

Kellie Avatar

I would make a very bright eye. I’d use sky blue as a base. Then I’d apply the aqua at the end of my eye with a small cat eye effect. Then to top it off I’d put MACs Going Bananas in the middle. :]

Audri Avatar

I would probably wear them together in a gorgeous blue medley of a smokey eye with the lighter one on the bottom lash line and the deeper on on top with maybe Carbon or another matte black.

Mel Avatar

I love blue eyeshadows and what I think would be the perfect compliment to the blue is a gorgeous pink lip, my preferred pink is a subtle baby pink, MAC Snob with delicate lilac undertones. it is a creamy satin lipstick, very creamy with heaps of pigment and a bit of a sheen. Something like a semi-matte-creamsheen formula, I adore it, and those blue eyeshadows teamed with my pink pout would make my eyes just POP 🙂

shelley Avatar

i think with those colors, you could do either a pink blush or a peach blush. I would use one of the new FF blushes. If I went pink, I’d go with a light soft pink lipstick, maybe Pet Me Please or Lady Gaga lipglass. If I went with the peach blush, I’d probably go with a nude lipstick, like Guerlain Nude beige, (I think that’s the name?)

Abby Avatar

I would add a dark blue like Deep Truth and some sort of brown..maybe a bronzy brown for something different. Nars orgasm blush and a light or more natural pinky lip!

Sarah Avatar

I would wear the two colors together with a little bit of a light nude color as a highlight and some black liquid liner, maybe some false lashes if i wanted to glam it up then apply a light pinkish-coral blush and a light pink gloss to my lips 🙂

Svetlana Avatar

I would wear them with UD primer potion,MAC’s Blanc Type eyeshadow as highlighter,L’Oreal’s super liner duo in extra black as eyeliner,on the water line white eyepencil from INK by Dennis Knudsen,on my cheeks MAC’s mineralize blush in Hang Loose and for my lips MAC’s lipglass in English Accents (from Liberty of London collection).

Anna Avatar

i’d put unbasic white or any shimmery white on the inner lid, skyblue on the lid, atlantic blue in the crease, and sketch in the outer V. i’d smudge aqua on the bottom lash line with sketch on the outside!

yadira Avatar

gold i woild pair it up with gold pigment wet of course, and a soft baby pink blush and to be extra daring a plum colored lip with extra clear gloss!

Jelissa Avatar

I would put Knight Divine in the crease and your foundation powder as a brow highlight. Then bare slimshine lipstick on the lips and use mineralize skinfinish cheeky bronze on the cheeks

Drewbee Avatar

I’m thinking some Shroom would look beautiful on the inner corners & Vanilla as a highlight, along with Buff blush & pinky-nude lip like Britwit cremeblush on lips! xx

Natalie Avatar

I would wear them with a navy eyeliner, like my L’Oreal cream eye liner (I forget the shade), and my Nars blush in Sin. I think blue and baby pinks/peach blushes look amazing together. Thanks for the opportunity!

Jasmine Avatar

A peachy color like samoan silk in the inner corner, then aqua on the outer and sky blue in the crease with some ricepaper to highlight, and then for night, darken the crease with Creep from Urban Decay.

Justine Avatar

i would pair aqua with maybe aquadisiac? and make it a super bright, watercolour by the pool sort of look! with a really shiny nude lip. holla! 🙂

Megan Avatar

Since the colour is so beautiful, I would add a MAC pigment (probably reflects gold) over the shadow, line the upper lash line and water line with a black gel liner, smoke it out a bit, then add tons of mascara! Next, bronzer, like Golden from MAC, and a peachy lipgloss.

Jazmine Avatar

Nude cheeks, but with a light pink glossy lip! 😀
I’d probably do a blue smokey eye with a neutral color to even out the bright blue shade and smoke it out with some black.

Agnes Avatar

I’d pair them with a silvery grey shimmer shadow on the outer crease and possibly smoke it out a bit more with a shimmery dark grey or black. blues and greys are so pretttttty! <3

Michelle Thao Avatar

if i had signature blue liner, i would use that to line the eyes after placing the eyeshadows. nars orgasism on the check and beachbound on the lips with flurry of fun on top.

isabellinchen Avatar

I would wear them with silver oder grey (mac smoke&diamonds or knight divine), black liner and mascara, nude lips. cheeks only with a small amount of bronzer.

tickles Avatar

I would wear them together. Or Aqua with Atlantic Blue, Deep truth, Parrot or Shimmermoss. Also Sky Blue with Moon’s reflection, Zingy or Winkle.

Hope Angela Avatar

MAC Cork eyeshadow used with the 208 Brush making a cute crease, add some Wedge into the crease and blend it out softly.. Then take Sky Blue and make a light V with it in the outer crease and take Aqua and blend that into the V and blend, Line the lower lashline with the 208 Brush and Cork and go over it with Sky Blue & Aqua only the 3/4’s of the eye.
No eyeliner, just lots of mascara.

For the face i would use MAC Garb Blush from the Pret a Papier collection, and MAC Creme d Nude lipstick on the lips

Thanks for the contest Christine

CaMesha Avatar

Blue is a tricky color and applied incorrectly can be unforgiving. I would blend them well making a smoky effect and wear a good coat ot mascara and frekletone lipstick (very nude lip).

Eleanor Avatar

I have a pair of dark tuquoise jeans and a pale aqua polo shirt. Those would look great with those two shadows. And what’s really great about the shadows is that they aren’t too bright, so they would look good even on people who usually wear “natural” or “nude” looking makeup, like me!

Emma Avatar

Since the shadows are pretty vibrant, I’d pair it with more neutral colors. I’d use sky blue all over the lid with a grey/silver color in the crease and a sparkly white shade as the highlite. I’d put a dark blue in the outer corner for kind of a blue smokey eye effect and use aqua on the lower lash line. I’d use some black or blue liner and mascara (depending on how wild you want the look to be) on both the upper and lower lashline and lashes. Then, I’d use a pale pink blush and some neutral pink gloss to finnish it off. 🙂

connie Avatar

patina, aqua , skyblue , and dazzlelight make a nice quad to use ….. or do aqua, skyblue ,star violet , and nylon .. together. throw on gingerly or pinch o peach depending on eye quad choice….. a lip with a nice purple under tone instead of pink or even a soild brown no reds use a cream sheen over a glass limit the glossy look…. of course use always use a paint pot depending on skintone…. bare study or painterly or my choice…. could use deflt paint pot as liner with aqua over top to set it … opulash is a most

lalaith Avatar

Since blue/green/turquoise are absolutely the colors I fall for I would probably try a look with all my blue and turqoise eyeshadows, to name them: mutiny, bell bottom blue, blue, haunting, too dolly, parrot, talent pool, birds and berries, hipnotique, deep truth and bang on blue. (See? I’m a junkie XD)

Dee Avatar

I’d def. use some dark charcoal eyeshadow, charcoal leaning towards black. And a nude lip color. I think the aqua and the black would make a real nice contrast…

Shannon Avatar

since i’m neutral warm and can’t usually wear aqua’s and baby blue colors, I’ll definitely have to smoke this one out. probably pair with a pigmented black or gunmetal or just a dark shade at the outer corner like MAC Plummage. I actually did a smoked out blue-ish aqua eye look the other day with Plummage, Aquadisiac, and Freshwater, along with Chanel Safari as a base. but yes, i’ll have to be careful with Aqua and Sky Blue since shades like these typically don’t look great on me lol

kelly alice. Avatar

I’d use MAC’s Blitz n Glitz Fluidline, Phloof! in the tear duct area, Sky Blue in the inner eyelid, Aqua in the outter eyelid, Freshwater in the crease, and Vex as a highlight. And a nice shiny, nude lip using Fulfilled Lipglass to top it off!

Carrie Ann Avatar

I’d pair them w/ a nude or light pink blush and lipstick/gloss, maybe Prim & Proper Blush or Shell Pearl Beauty Powder and Frankly Fresh Lipglass from MAC’s Liberty of London collection.

Stacie Avatar

I would either make it a colorful smokey eye ( like MAC Carbon or UD Goddess in the crease), or I would pair it with something bright and fun, like UD Fishnet 🙂

Diana Avatar

It would look nice paired with Macs Carbon eyshadow giving it a kind of smokey look to it paired with a nice pickish nude lip! Giving ita a sexy smokey aqua blue look 🙂

Brit Avatar

With Orange being the best complimentary color to blue, I’d say ORANGE! But for those less than brave souls out there, I’d say peach is a great alternative. MAC Peaches blush maybe… perhaps MAC Fleshpot or Freckletone lipsticks would be neutral enough to balance that bright gorgeous duo on the lids 🙂

Felicia Avatar

I’d do a blue smokey eye with Aqua and Sky Blue. Little to no blush, With a nude lip. So that way the cheeks and lips wouldn’t take away from the focus of the eyes.

Yenny V Avatar

I love blues when paired with corals. So I think I’d go for coral lips and natural cheeks. NYX Smokey Look lipgloss is a great nude-coral color. As for cheeks, perhaps MAC Instant Chic?

Janice Avatar

I would either use them over a light wash of blanc type for a matte, sky-blue eye, or use them both (1/2 & 1/2) on the lower lashline with naked pigment and liner on the lid!

Lizzy Avatar

Gold.

It’s still in the 90’s here, so the brighter one gets the gold eyeliner from MAC Superslick and MAC Gel lipstick. Maybe with some sparkly gold MAC Smash Hit lipstick. I’m all about one shadow, one bright liner lately… But same with the Aqua.

Or-

Violetta. Maybe one of those paler violet lippies hanging around but I am SO tired of the “nude lip”! It’s over!

Gold or purple, you never know for sure until it’s on your face but these are hot summer colors with big impact.

Carolyn Avatar

I’d do a fine, smoky liner (Loreal HIP gel liner and NYX black shadow) with peachy-bronzed cheeks (NYX Mozaic Blush in Dare) and a very sheer coral gloss (NYX Apricot). Maybe a bronzy-brown shimmery contour if it needs it, like NYX Deep Bronze.

Natalia Avatar

Hi! I would wear them with a black eyeliner (especially the yellow and fuchsia-like one).

I could also compare two of them (of the same shade, one brighter and one darker) to create a smoky effect.

Otherwise, for an evening look i could use some silver, blue or golden shimmer (depending on the shadow i would use). Pigment could also be an option to combine with.

False eyelashes would be a good idea to emphasize some of the looks i have in mind !

Good luck to everyone ! 🙂
