Make Up For Ever @ Mara Hoffman S/S 2011

Make Up For Ever @ Mara Hoffman S/S 2011

Make Up For Ever Alliance artist, Lottie, served as key make up artist for the Mara Hoffman Spring/Summer 2011 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Lottie created a fresh, “cool girl” look for the models, focusing on dewy skin, groomed brows and natural lips. The focal point of the look was “lived in” eyeliner which was smoked out on the bottom lash line to create intensity.

Makeup How-to

Complexion & Cheeks: Lottie first applied Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation for a flawless complexion, and then applied Make Up For Ever Pan Cake #3 on top to give the skin a soft, dewy glow. To add a contour to the cheeks, Lottie used Make Up For Ever Sculpting Kit #10 and #20 for definition, and finished with Make Up For Ever Sculpting Blush #20 for a pop of color.

Eyes: Make Up For Ever Pearly Waterproof Eye Shadow Pencil #13 was used all over the eye for highlighting the lid and crease. The inside of the bottom lash line was rimmed with Make Up For Ever Aqua Black. Then the outer bottom lashes were lined with Make Up For Ever Khol Pencil #1 which was smoked out for a smudgy intensity. A thick coat of Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash completed the eyes, and lastly, Make Up For Ever Eyebrow Pencil was used to fill in the brows for a well-groomed yet natural look.

Lips: The lips were kept natural with just one coat of Make Up For Ever Moisturizing Lip Balm.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities!
