One of my faves would have to be Showstopper from Victoria’s Secret. The only downside to it, is that it seems to warm-undertoned. It makes my teeth yellow when I put it on alone.
So I pair it up with the VS Lip Glaze in Mediterranean Blue, which gives the glossy effect and the cooler undertones:)

I know all are mac, but I’m not a big red girl, so I don’t explore this color in other brands as much.

Wow, great informative reply, thanks! I really like New York Apple (very classy but not too overpowering), and have been wanting to try Cockney for a while now – I just don’t do red lips often enough to justify buying it atm. 🙂

I was wanting to buy the Make Up For Ever #207 cherry red, but realized it’s no longer on sephora.com. Did they discontinue their regular lipsticks and replace them with the new Rouge Artist Intense lipstick?

I love a lot of Guerlain Kiss Kiss (cherry shine), and Chanel Coco (Légende) or Aqualumière (like Salina or Tahiti), and YSL too …

Beaute lip stain in Fever topped with YSL Rouge Volupte #17 if I need something super long lasting. Chanel Rouge Allure laque in Coromandel to warm it up some. And if I need a classic matte lip, MAC Ruby Woo over MAC Cherry liner (just like MichelleNW).

Dragon is kind of the best red lipstick ever… But I’ll go with one of my favorite glammy glam lips: Ruby Woo (or Russian Red) set with Reflects Rust Glitter 🙂 BEAUTIFUL!

I only have one red lippie – isa dora in summer red. Its a nice bright red. My mother puts me off wearing red cause she says it looks trashy every time i wear it! 🙁

I love my Rouge Coco in Paris and the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl. But the Chanel Rouge Allure Laque in Dragon is next on my list to try! It looks stunning in every single swatch I’ve seen. 😀

My fave red is MAC Urgent slimshine, but they’ve gone n discontinued it *sighs* any dupes gratefully accepted.

I’m still working on finding mine. I’m really liking L’Oreal HIP liquid lipstick in Turbulent for now. Applies well, smells great, and really lasts. But I’m looking for something a hair more blue I think, but still a true red. It’s like it’s one of those shades that can be photoshopped, but not produced in real life!

That’s easy. I have given up wearing my Chanel lip in Dragon for my new favorite: Loreal lip infallable lip colour in Beyonce Red. Having a red lip is no longer high maintenance! 🙂
