Interested in the magenta purple, Hel’s Bells and hoping to find some nudes and pinks that don’t make me look dead or sick

Lately it seems like everybody is cashing in on Kim Kardashian. Fergie and her ridiculous Milf video is the latest. I refuse to purchase anything associated with her or that family. That said, the other lipsticks all look very pretty. I’ve never tried anything from this line.

I feel the same way; no matter how much I like the shade, I just can’t do it. In general, I don’t like makeup lines that do a lot of “name-dropping”. I don’t have anything from this brand, either; that’s rare for me.

is that really necessary though…to feel the need to say that you despise someone for no reason? If you don’t want to buy a lipstick because of the shade name, don’t. Charlotte Tilbury has worked on Kim K as a makeup artist for years and Nude Kate has been her signature shade. Whether you like her or not, Kim K is a style icon and trendsetter. That is not debatable. Kardashian bashers are even worse than their fans…you are just as much jumping on the bandwagon by doing so.

Hmpph. If you’re going to make a collection about powerful women, I would have appreciated some diversity. Not a single black woman was included. Or an Asian woman.

I agree; what about Beyoncé, Lupita Nyong’o, Gabrielle Union, Jennifer Hudson, Rita Ora, Lucy Liu (a “girl crush” of mine), Halle Berry (although that might be a prob if she’s still under contract w/Revlon)…I could go on and on.

I agree. I’m not supporting this brand anymore. And to add insult to injury, she has black models wearing some of the shades. I wanted to see who they were and found out that there actually were none. Sneaky and shady.

“Bond Girl” in her other collection was a nod to Halle Berry. For your information, all of these women are CLIENTS Charlotte has worked on. Salma, Penelope, Carina…all different heritages. When Charlotte does the makeup of Beyonce, Lupita, Gabrielle, or Jennifer…then she will invent a shade inspired by them.
