Favorite nail polish brand: Sephora by OPI, I have around 10 different shades from them. I apply one coat, which is usually watery, and then a second one which makes the nails very opaque. I finish with seche vite top coat, no base coat, it makes nails chip! So seche vite is probably my favorite top coat, it makes nails glossy and last twice as long. NARS nail polishes are also gorg, they chip easier, but the colors are amazing, I have 5 of them! Cha Cha Cha, a tangerine fizz is my favorite

Favorite eyeliner brand: Hands down Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil. A cheaper dupe that does the same thing is Sephora Flashy Liner Waterproof, but they don’t have any matte colors, all shimmer.

Favorite lipstick brand: MAC! I have 6 of them, 5 gifted. I love them. With all my heart.

Favorite nail polish brand? Opi. Hands down. (giggles) I love their huge colour selection.

Favorite eyeliner brand? Urban Decay’s 24/7 eyeliner. I love it’s staying power and again all the colours.

Favorite lipstick brand? Urban Decay’s lipstick is perfect. It comes in a variety of colours as well as shimmer, sheer, sheen, cream, and semi-sheer. All of them are flattering no matter how dark or light. 😀

Favourite nail polish brand is definitely Chanel.. loved Nouvelle Vague from the Les Pop collection!
Favourite eye liner is the liquid black liners from Loreal. I find them so easy to use, since they are pen-like. MAC’s fluidlines are just too tricky for me.
Favourite lipstick is MAC Cremesheen lipsticks. I just love the formula with lustres coming in second. All Styled Up and I like it like that, are my current faves. I’d like to try Dolce & Gabbana lipstick.. but will have to order it from Saks as I live in Canada. Christine, would you recommend D&G lipstick? If so, the cream or shine ones? I’m wondering if the cream ones are like cremesheens.. hard to find swatches of D&G tho!

I don’t really use eyeliner or lipsticks much– and when I do, it’s just drugstore brands, so I can’t really pick a favorite.

Nail polish, however…Essie or OPI. I adore Essie’s palette; for awhile I thought having so many pinks and reds seemed really redundant, but with so many variations on classic shades, you’re bound to find the perfect one in their lineup. OPI’s brush makes manicures a breeze, and their formulation seems a bit more consistent than Essie’s, which can range from impressive almost-one-coaters to “Wow, I might need a fourth coat for this sucker…”

But I plan on picking up a few bottles of China Glaze (what’s all this hullabaloo about ‘For Audrey’? I must see for myself!) this weekend, so who knows, maybe I’ll find my new favorite brand!

Favorite nail polish brand? essie (with seche vite, nothing can withstand this nail polish. i’ve been wearing lapis of luxury for a week now with only two minor chips)
Favorite eyeliner brand? urban decay (i’m a liquid eyeliner girl, and this was my first eyeliner. it’s so easy to apply. but i like MAC’s liquidlast because it lasts FOREVER. i would jump in the pool and nothing happens. i just don’t like the thin brush)

Favorite nail polish brand? I remember what they did to you (ask you, not very kindly, to remove the info you had on up coming collections) and do not like them for that … but OPI is still the best nail polish brand I have encountered. The formulation just suits me.

Oh man! Your comment made me curious about what OPI did. I am NOT impressed at all! Why is OPI shooting themselves in the foot!? Do they not realize the power of bloggers to change our opinions on a brand? I don’t like that they took legal action against a small business like Transdesign either. Ridiculous.

Favorite Eyeliner Brand?: Maybelline. Works great on my waterline and their $2 pencils are amazing for defining my eyebrows.

At the moment – Jordana! Great formula, nice range of colours – I just picked up Tangy (coral peachy cream), Mystical, Twilight and Supernatural (black based glitter shades in pink/purple, indigo and aqua) plus Mardi Gras (deep navy shimmer) and Hot & Spicy (red/orange metallic) – it applied nicely, dries quickly and they’re only $3 a bottle.

MAC – I LOVE pearlglides and powerpoints.

Favorite nail polish brand? Chanel. Used to be OPI but I started to get impatient waiting for their polishes to dry, and then I saw their legal action threat against you, I just refused to support this company any further. I hate companies that act like big bullies.

Favorite eyeliner brand? Dior waterproof crayon liner.

Favorite lipstick brand? Shu Uemura. The only brand I think I could wear because theirs are tasteless. Love the color selections from MAC but I can still feel this yucky lipstick taste 🙁

I don’t have a favourite lipstick as of yet, but my favourite nail polish brand is definitely YSL: They don’t have the same enormous range as, say, OPI, but the application is very smooth and they last extremely well. Plus, Moonlight White is such a beautiful, naturally glowy color that its really all I wear on my fingernails these days.

My favourite eyeliner is Sana’s EXTRA HEAVY EYELINER pen, available at sasa.com – It does exactly what its told, is super easy to apply, and stays put so long as you don’t sleep in it or cry/tear up/rub it really soon after application. I just have to swipe it across the lash line, minimal pulling and no mess. Its actually scary how well behaved it is. Its the only eyeliner I use.
