Haul for the week: Newest Mario Badescu order arrived, trying out some new products-Anti Acne Serum, Healing & Soothing Mask, Botanical Facial Gel; free samples of Azulene Calming Mask, Herbal Hydrating Serum (tried this b4 & luv it), Eye Make Up Remover Gel Non Oily (don’t like this nearly as much as Clinique Take the Day Off Makeup Remover for Lids Lashes & Lips). Ulta Sale-2 Japonesque eyeshadow brushes (either buy 1, get 1 free or buy 1, 50% off, can’t rememember); 2 Piggy Polishes (buy 1, get 1 free). Bought a Sephora waterproof liner in Flashy Mauve in order to get the free Bare Minerals set (mini sizes of foundation, mineral veil, brush). Highly recommend the Sephora eyeliners, only $8 & I’d say very similar to my many Urban Decays. CVS-2 Loreal Hip Color Chrome Eyeliners (Violet Volt & Black Shock, buy 1 get 1 50% off). Bought these based on looking back @ some of your older reviews! Only worn the Black Shock once so far, but I think they both may be fabulous. MAC-Haute & Naughty Mascara, still testing out, but I think it’s gonna be a keeper. Mall purchases-blinged out sunglasses & a sparkly new pair of Swarovski earrings. That’s all I can remember off the top of my head, have a great weekend everyone!

The greatest thing that happened to me this week was the New Mac Collections. I really look forward to these and they brighten my mood. I was at the counter for 5 hours trying to figure what to get. I ended up spending 300 or so maybe more. But I did manage to get all the lipstick through back to mac program. I think I might get another Jazzed, if they still have it lol. I am very impressed in the quality of these mineral eyeshadows this year. If only I could take back all the ones I bought from Colour Craft last year and get all these news ones. I did manage to 5 of them so Yay.

Did a bunch of Back2Mac over the past two days. Came home with Rebel l/s as well as Go For It, the purple lipstick from In the Groove. Also took home Black Tied, Juxt, Ricepaper, Retrospeck, Trax, Crystal, and Plumage.

And I had to buy Sparklicious dazzleglass from alice+olivia.

I’ve been really lazy in the mornings and haven’t done any makeup for ages – so it was nice to get up this morning and play with some new stuff.

My haul is pretty small, but I hauled from Sephora. I ordered the Urban Decay Naked palette, the Smashbox quad in Bright Eyed ($6! I had to try it), the free 10-day Bare Ecentuals trio that comes with foundation, a mineral vail, and a kabuki brush, and three samples (UD Eden primer, Korres face primer, and DKNY Be Delicious). I am so excited to get it!
Also, I’m going to Universal’s Islands of Adventure tomorrow…so pumped (though my neck is really hurting…hope it goes away by then)!

I was pretty good this week! I did cave and order the Harujuku Lovers perfume Love in order to get the adorable free alarm clock, but other than that, I think all I bought beauty-wise was a soap dish from Crabtree & Evelyn. I even went to Sephora only to exchange my MUFE F&B foundation for a different shade and saw MAC In the Groove at Nordie’s and didn’t succumb to buying anything! (Though, the more I think about Love to Love MES the more I want it LOL…)

Went to pick up Stereo Rose and ended up getting You’ve Got It lipglass too- it’s a color I didn’t have anywhere in my collection, and I love how it looks over High Tea l/s. The MUA talked me into Flurry of Fun lipglass from To The Beach (he had 1 left), and it was so sparkly that I was mesmerised and I bought it. I already have Thrills l/s and it looks great over that.

I was the first one at my MAC Counter when the store opened, and I got to be the first to try the testers. That was a germ-free score in and of itself!

For a MAC launch week I think I did preeptty good. 🙂 my orignal list had the coveted stereo rose, but it sold out everywhere on the island so I got the last by candlelight at macy’s and petticoat. As well as jazzed l/s, partilicious pigment (my first pigment!) And melon pigment. 🙂 oh with some nail polishes from sephore opi.

Excited for: 🙂 just slept in for the first time in a long time… or so it seems.

Friday plans: homework and work… fun haha and possibly play with my new makeup. 😀

Friday plans: Board games with family and playing with my dog, Stanley (What I really should plan to do is clean — but that can always wait, right?)

The week started with my shipment from UD! I got the Naked Palette & Baked Pencil. I ordered 2 Stereo Rose and 1 By Candlelite from Mac.online but I got nervous that it was backordered so on Launch Day I ran out and purchased 1 Stereo Rose and 1 By Candlelite. I also picked up the 3 Pigments from Alice + Olivia. (The Mac.online order shipped so the other 3 MSF will arrive Monday). I picked up 3 Benefit Velvet eyeshadows, Mermaid, Shamrocker, & Buckle Bunny. I got the 6 Urban Decay shadows that were exclusive to Sephora, FreeLove, Woodstock, Pyschedelic Sister, Haight, Dashiki & Aqaurius. Finally, I got 4 Fyrinnae Arcane Magic Shadows & 3 Lip Lustres.

I’m sooo excited for my haul this week! I got two new OPI nail polishes in A Good Man-darin is Hard to Find and Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees (suede), Stila tinted moisturizer, one of those cheapy face mask packets just because, Abercrombie bikini (they’re having a sale!!), Abercrombie chambray sundress, and a PINK by Victoria’s Secret body splash (the one with the purple cap…)

Excited for: hopefully going to see Eclipse this weekend

My mac was sold out of ALOT of the in the groove lip products, a few blushe, and stereo rose and by candlelight. i was actually surprised they still ahd petticoat. Now i’m on the hunt for the ud naked palette and some new lip stuff… i just cant decide what colors i want!

Excited for: relaxing! I worked 23 hours in 2 overnight shifts this week doing the new floorset (i work at american eagle) so i’m exhausted!

Friday plans: since fridays almost over in nj… maybe a movie or just hanging out

MAC Haul: Jazzed lipstick and Hang Loose blush (both of which I planned to get), and By Candlelight MSF (which I hadn’t planned to buy, but when I saw it I liked it more than I thought I would).

Friday Plans: Worked, stopped by the MAC counter, and then went out for sushi with a friend. It was a good day. 🙂

didn’t end up buying makeup this week. lol. Preordered some stuff from the nordstrom sale – shoes, a bracelet, and across the universe from lippmann nail polish. the sales associate helping me and i have been playing phone tag but i aim to get bad romance too. planned on going to a fashion, jewelry, and accessories trade show but i am running out of money and energy lol; might just spend time studying – summer class finals next week! otherwise sunday = 7/11 = friends and i going to various 7-elevens in the city collecting free 7.11oz slurpees lol

Excited for: Relaxing, sleeping in, and reading next week while blasting the AC. It was over 100 degrees here on Monday!
Friday plans: Well, Friday’s technically over, but I spent my day going to MAC to grab Jazzed lipstick, which I didn’t get on Thursday and regretted, and then just watched a movie with my dad and hung out. I’m exhausted after having some dental work done and walking my dog a ton in the heat this week!

Hauled a couple lipsticks, eyeshadows, and lipglosses while I was in Vancouver last week, but unfortunately missed in the groove 🙁 I was really hoping to pick up By Candlelight that I missed from Warm&Cozy, which I loved for my pale skin even then. Unfortunately, its already sold out on the Canadian website, and it says I can’t order internationally? Do you have any suggestions how I could find it? On line/by phone is pretty much my only option. By the way, I love the look you did for swatching the Lancome blush, with your upper lash line lined, it’s too bad you react badly to it, it looks gorgeous on you!

Exited for: The bf’s bday weekend!!!! We are having a bbq wtih friends this evening and dinner with family tomorrow 🙂 This means my internet surfing Satuday morning ends after this post and I have to clean, prep and cook for the parrrrtay 🙂

Haul: Nada. I was dirt poor with $4 in my bank account until today. I did get some prizes from winning giveaways though! I got the Avon glazewear set (ended up giving 5 to Mom since she’s darker than me naturally), an eye shadow and some other miscellaneous stuff. Oh yea, I can’t forget Nfu-Oh #51 nail polish. It’s GODLY. I had the hardest time convincing myself to open it because it was so pretty. I don’t think I can bear using it because the bottle (which is so girly and amazing) would look weird with a half-full thing o’ 51. I think I may need to do some major Nfu-Oh hauling; although, I weep at the $12.50 price tag. It’s like Illamasqua’s polishes; amazing quality and colors, choke-worthy sticker price (I’m a military kid! big prices for luxury items like make-up aren’t part of living military).

Excited for: The warm weather! It supposed to t-storm tonight which means I’m going to have tranquilize Zena. I just LOVE having a dog that has brontophobia. We’ve had to upgrade to Xanax because the old tranquilizers just weren’t cutting it. My dog takes human tranquilizers. Lovely.

Saturday plans (Friday is just about done here in the Midwest. It’s 8:30 PM!): I think I may buy Nars Sheer Glow in Siberia. Hopefully, I’ll have some money left over from hunting for a new purse to buy Siberia. I’m not quite sure if it’s going to be okay for my hyper-sensitive, acne-prone combination skin, but that’s what Sephora is for! Free returns!
