This tag is all about your favorite brands — which brands really know how to do certain products better than any other!

Here’s mine…
- Best Blush Brand: Guerlain edges it out for me, because they’re very subtle and natural, but they’re still apparent. I’m coming around to NARS blushes, though. I also really like MAC blushes as a solid color range with nice texture/quality, and for their affordability.
- Best Eyeliner Brand: Urban Decay — I love Make Up For Ever, too, but the softer texture of the 24/7 Liners gets me!
- Best Eyeshadow Brand: MAC! I love that MAC has a variety in textures and shades. Their permanent line is actually pretty amazing, but so often overlooked with their onslaught of limited edition collections.
- Best Lipstick Brand: Guerlain/Cle de Peau — it’s a total tie here. Both brands make a seriously good-feeling lipstick, and the shades are so flattering. You certainly pay for both, though!
- Best Lipgloss Brand: Le Metier de Beaute has such a great texture and range of shades.
- Best Foundation Brand: Make Up For Ever has a nice range of foundations and a huge shade selection. I think both are important in being the best. My personal favorite foundation is by Guerlain, but the range is limited and it’s the only foundation I’ve tried from the brand.
- Best Nail Polish Brand: China Glaze! I love the shade range–so many to choose from–and I never have issues with the formula. It’s very consistent, which I appreciate immensely!

Best Blush Brand: Rock & Republic — I wish the color range was wider, but I’ve found my HG blush color and I love it. The texture is great and pigmentation of these is superb.
Best Eyeliner Brand: Urban Decay 24/7 for the most part. I actually don’t like Zero as I don’t find it intense enough and for some reason it itches on my lower lash line. My favorite black is Milani Liquif’eye.
Best Eyeshadow Brand: MAC has to be it, the selection of different shades and finshes is unmatched by any other brand, although I adore the texture of UD shadows.
Best Lipstick Brand: NYX. I’m not big into lipstick so I can’t offer any opinions on what makes or breaks a lipstick. Fun colors + great pigmentation + a small price tag = good for me!
Best Lipgloss Brand: I love NYX lip gloss but for sure I’d say MAC. Again, the selection offered is incredible and I’ve yet to find a lipgloss they’ve released where I can’t find at least one shade for me.
Best Foundation Brand: Make Up For Ever. I’ve tried and loved both HD and Mat Velvet (although I found the latter to have a smell that bothered me a bit).
Best Nail Polish Brand: I want to say China Glaze because I’ve loved them so long, but I’ve been really into duochromes lately and Zoya KILLS IT with duochromes! I also find their formula to be spot on in every color that I own (even the mattes!) so while my heart *wants* me to choose CG, I’m gonna go with Zoya still.
OMGosh I forgot about Milani Liquifeye. I love it, but it bothers my lower lash line for some reason and my eyes water all day. But it’s my favorite for the top lash line!!

Best Blush Brand: It would have to be tie between Guerlain and Nars. Guerlain makes the most subtle and glowing shades while NARS makes the most stunning pigmented blush shades.
Best Eyeliner Brand: Guerlain – the Terracotta Powder Khol Eyeliners are amazing. It stays put no matter what.
Best Eyeshadow Brand: Kanebo sub-brands Lunasol, Coffret D’or, Kate and Lavshuca. Unfortunately, these are only available in Asia. The majority of the palettes they release are mostly gradiation shades that gives off a dimensional look. The feel and finish of these eyeshadows are superbly soft and beautiful.
Best Lipstick Brand: Guerlain, the Rouge G’s are out of this world, all of my HG shades I’ve found in Rouge G’s. Chanel comes in a very close second, particularly with the release of Rouge Coco.
Best Lipgloss Brand: I very very rarely use lipgloss, and I’ve only tried Shiseido.
Best Foundation Brand: Shu Uemura, even thru heat and humidity it never melts.

Best Foundation Brand: Meow Cosmetics – this one is easy, it actually matches my skintone!

Best Blush Brand:Armani for sure. Their blushes are so soft and glowy.
Best Eyeliner Brand: I really love Laura Mercier. However, I do only use the kohl pencils, but I have tried the cake liner at my grandmas. That was quite nice too.
Best Eyeshadow Brand:Chanel. I love the fluid shadows, the singles and the quads. They are just great quality.
Best Lipstick Brand:Armani. Their lipsticks are the only ones I have found so far that I do not have to wear chapstick under.
Best Lipgloss Brand: Chanel. I absolutely love both the glossimers and the aqualumiere glosses.
Best Foundation Brand: I havent found one. Still searching for a foundation I like. However, I do like Shu’s pressed powder.
Best Nail Polish Brand:I really love OPI. Their new prowide brush is absolutely my favorite. I even emailed them asking if I could purchase more, but sadly they never got back to me.

Best Blush Brand: I only have two blushes! Sugarbomb by Benefit or Well Dressed by MAC! And they’re both so great that I don’t feel the need for another blush! I’ve always wanted to try some peachy or coral blush, but I don’t think it matched my skin tone! I’m very warm/yellow and pale. Ah!
Best Eyeliner Brand: I love Stila’s gel/cream eyeliners. They’re very pigmented! I recommend the purple a thousand times over 🙂
Best Eyeshadow Brand: My favorite eye shadow of all time is UD’s Last Call, but overall I definitely love MAC’s eyeshadows more. Honey Lust, Brown Down, and Carbon are to die for. They make a gorgeous bronzy summer look.
Best Lipstick Brand: I can’t wear lipstick because I bite my lips and they always disappear within the hour! But I love BeneTint by Benefit. It works great and lasts pretty good.
Best Lipgloss Brand: Not a lipgloss fan. I have braces still (and HAVE had them for 5 and a half years!) so i try and draw attention away from my mouth. Once I get my braces off though, I’m sure I’ll venture out!
Best Foundation Brand: I’ve only ever used Lancome’s DUAL Finish Matte Make-up powder, and it’s great!
Best Nail Polish Brand: Most of mine are OPI, but I am kind of disappointed in them. I’ll find my HG soon enough! 🙂

I think the product I love most by Chanel are the Rouge Allure Laques, but they’re not quite lipstick, not quite gloss, so they don’t fit!
Best Blush Brand:NARS! without a doubt. mac blushes can’t even compare, they are SO SO SO subpar in terms of lasting power, pigmentation, quality. There are probably better brands that cost more but NARS is the best in the more “high end but still justifiable” for me at least.
Best Eyeliner Brand: I’d probably say Urban Decay but I’m not as particular about my liners as some people can be
Best Eyeshadow Brand: I’ll say MAC. I’m more quantity over quality with eyeshadows to some extent. MAC is pretty good quality for the mid-range price that it is.

They have a lot that are too dry, not pigmented enough or too pigmented sometimes. And I may be biased simply because I have more Mac than other brands. But I choose them because of certain awesome colors and an amazing range.
Best Lipgloss Brand: Sorry Mac, this goes to Nars! For me, they’re smooth, soft, pigmented and feel like heaven!
Best Foundation Brand: For me, it’s Bare Escentuals! I can’t stand a liquid on my face, plus this is built in SPF that adds to the protection of my sunscreen! It’s a really personal choice though.
