Sponsored: Pretty.Smart. At-Home Luxuries

The following post is an advertorial.

Now that we’ve finally hit the hot summer months, it’s time to get your skin in show-off shape from head to toe. Pretty.Smart. has tips this month on how to prep from home — without touching your vacation savings. Beauty expert Nina Sutton is dishing the insider information on getting spa-worthy smooth.

You don’t need to dedicate hours to getting soft, smooth, and touchable skin. Who has that kind of time anyway? Instead, lather up in the shower with Caress Whipped Souffle Ultra Silkening Body Wash, which comes in two yummy scents: Blackberry Cream and White Peach Cream. Are you more of a beauty bar kind of girl? Then try Caress Velvet Bliss, which hydrates and silkens while infusing a blackberry and vanilla scent into your skin, keeping you smelling great all day long.

Nina also has a beauty bonus this month about how to get the perfect sunless self-tan. With her easy step-by-step downloadable guide, any worries of orange streaks and blotches – as well as sun scares and tanning salon costs — will be a thing of the past. Even better, if you want that tan to last, check out Nina’s video about body brushing. Then visit Pretty.Smart. for more summer skin advice and beauty tips.

The Summer-Ready Skin portion had several great little tips. Like exfoliating right before shaving – I’ve never tried that.

I actually downloaded the PDF after the Everyday Essentials video and I didn’t know that Mica in Shimmer Powders is what makes it shimmery! I’m definitely going to try applying Shimmmer Powder for an extra glow! 🙂

I never thought of the idea of keeping a baset with all my body treatment “goodies” in one place. I usually just grab one thing from here, one thing from there, the other thing that’s in the shower…now I think I’ll pick up a cute plastic tote and hang it on a hook right outside the shower door!

I liked the “Summer Ready Skin” tips. I didn’t know that it was ok to exfoliate 3 times a week. I was only doing it once, hehe. Also, I didn’t know you could exfoliate before shaving. I figured it would be too much for my skin. I’ll try it next time…

I really liked the tip about exfoliating before shaving. I never thought of that but now it makes so much sense to do it.

The video on everyday essentials for radiant skin was informative. I always thought it was not good to exfoliate more than twice a week.

I decided to rethink my exfoliating philosophy. I do it only before some parties to make my skin smooth and glowing. Should do it more often. But not really sure about 3 times a week. Not all parts of my body need to be exfoliating every other day.

I really liked the tip about keeping all your nighttime stuff together in a basket. I tend to have stuff in the bathroom and my vanity and wind up forgetting things or having to make multiple trips. (The easy things are the things you never think of, yah?)

I liked the tip about eating healthy as well as exfoliating, moisturizing, and wearing sunscreen. Sometimes I forget how eating really healthy is so great for skin — need to be beter at that!!

I am all about 10 minute pedis! Loves it. By the by, the Tahitian Renewal scrub that Caress makes has made me a Caress fan for life… so I pretty much trust that anything they put out is good.

I’ve heard it a million times, drink water, but hearing it again never hurts! Plus I liked the idea of using a simple container without the lid to create a away from the bathtub, warm water bath for pedicures.
