I became obsessed with blush about 4 years ago & when I came across Tarte blushes I was really rather impressed. At that time, I don’t recall Tarte being a very mainstream brand, I considered it to be one of those brands that a greet secret amongst us true makeup lovers/junkies/hoarders/all of the above/etc. I am very glad that they’ve done well and expanded their fan base, but….I get very overwhelmed by all their limited edition palettes (mainly eyeshadow or a combo of eyeshadow & blush palettes that they put out. Now, they are pushing so many products that are flooding the market (liquid lippies, HAC singles and palettes, as well as skincare). I haven’t tried a lot of the aforementioned new products I just hope they haven’t or don’t go from producing great products to mediocre products ducts. That being said I know they are no where like MAC spewing another LE collection in your face every other week but it still drives me skeptical.

Wow, what a pretty collection for summer! Everything looks great here, my wallet is scared. Are those single shadows?? I’m praying they are the Rain Forest of the Sea formula !

LOL 5 shades of brown. Tarte definitely has their sights set on that trend! The blushes look gorgeous and that cream blush/lip palette really stands out to me. It’s been a hot minute since a brand has released a formula that works for both cheeks and lips, so if it’s a good palette I might have to pick it up.

A few of the eyeshadow singles have me intrigued! Too bad they’re not permanent, though. Or Rainforest Of The Sea formula, it would seem, either.
Also very interested in seeing these new single blushes swatched as well. My daughter is a fan of their Amazonian Clay Blush. Not so sure that they’d be my thing, though, until these new shades!

I’m always happy for more blushes from Tarte. I’m also excited about the highlighter. I want to see swatches of the metallic shadows. Even if the metallics are the same old color scheme were used to by now, I’m glad to see Tarte venturing into different finishes. If they’re as good as the Rainforest of the Sea shadows, I’ll be interested. The packaging on the palettes are really cute, but I don’t really need them. We’ll see how “fair” the fair concealer actually is. Tarte tends to run dark.

Back to singles. How long has it been? The cream cheek is somewhat of a departure, and has a wide range of colors. Instead of calling Tarte niche-y, which has a connotation in makeup, I’ll say they carved out a recognizable style. Pretty much always can tell a Tarte palette. Glad they formulated the ROTS formula, as it has been a big hit. Haven’t got any Tarte (except in the S nude lip collection & I don’t particularly like it, formula-wise) since Mattnificent. Maybe it’s the changes under Kose.

Oh dear I’m a bit disappointed to be honest. Tarte is by far my fave brand but I love a matte eye and a slightly glossy lip so I’m out of luck. How many brown lip paints? The whole collection is a bit neutral overload. I was expecting ROTS palette to have some blues/greens/silvers/gold so when it didn’t I was hoping for some more colour in their next collection. This just looks like what has been done before and I already own all of that. My credit card could do with the rest though 🙂

While I’m curious to check out and try the new Amazonian Clay blushes, did Tarte really have to release 5 more shades of BROWN lip paints? As a longtime fan of the brand, I miss when they used to have more color in their collections…As others have mentioned, it’s kind of a neutral overload. 🙁 But at least my wallet will have a rest.

The cheek and lip palette looks promising, but I don’t really use cream products that often. 🙁
