I like to wear the a lilac all over the lid, with a strong violet colors on the outer V, and LOTS of eyeliner & mascaraa:)

Fridde Avatar

I love to wear the smokey eyes with a dark blue instead of a black to make it a little more lighter.

ps. I would love to win because I can’t buy Covergirl here in Europe!

ImperfctAngel Avatar

Wearing purple eyeshadows really bring out my brown eyes, so i prefer purple/plum smokey eyes with a hint of reflects glitter.

Courtney Avatar

I’m not entering. I just wanted to say “Eww, why would you WANT that?” I bought two shadow blasts because I loved the colors, but sadly, the product is greasy, creasy, not beautifal garbage. 🙁

brittany Avatar

I would love to try the blue shade! I am so scared to wear blue but its my favorite color!! all these shades are gorgeous! I love color =]

Zenaida Avatar

I love dark olive green smokey eyes!!! They just make me feel like if Mother Earth had a sister that was a sex kitten, it would be me. I don’t know that was a weird way to explain it but yeah that’s it.

Christina Carter Avatar

I have a go to brown smoky eye using MAC Expresso as a lid color, MAC Wedge to soften the edges, a lttle bit of MAC Carbon to darken the outer crease and MAC vanilla pigment as a highlight. I usually line my eyes with black liner. I can wear this look with anything and step it up or tone it down to fit any occasion.

Annalisa Avatar

I love classic dark grey or black smoky eyes. Sometimes I like to add a twist, i.e. a touch of teal green or of artifact on the center of the lid.
Thanks for the opportunity Christine! 🙂

Zoe Avatar

My favorite smoky eye is a combination of navy blended up into a brown/taupe. It sounds crazy but with fair skin it looks amazing and very chic.

Kristen Avatar

I love bronzey-brown smoky eyes on me! And on other girls, I think black smoky eyes look amazing, and I wish I could pull them off!

Gemma Avatar

I love any color smoky eye especially navy blue or purple. I would love to try the Skyline Smoky one i think the silver and purple would look really good.

KaylaK Avatar

Ohhh this is a toughy, I love Smokey eyes!! I like to do black or a dark dark grey with burgundy! : ) And I’m a sucker for green or teal with a dark grey.

sofia Avatar

Mae Avatar

I love doing brown and neutrals smoky eye for daytime, but my favorite smoky eye is plum blended with soft gray at the crease, black, and a really soft light pink or cream in the inner eye area.

Adrine Avatar

I love to wear purple smokey eyes, I think it brings out the brown and hint of hazel in my eyes. I love purples!!

Adrine 🙂

Jaym Avatar

I like a taupe smokey eye. More drama then a brown smokey eye and not as harsh as a black smokey eye. Plus it works for day and night.

Cheska S. Avatar

I love a dark plum/purple smokey eye! It’s not as dark as a conventional smokey eye and you can even wear it during the day. ^_^

I love ANY color of smokey eye! It’s gotta be one of my fav styles! If I had to pick one though, I’d say either purple/gold or brown/gold….I guess that two…oh well! (Grey/Pink looks good too!) =)

Grace Avatar

Bronze fire looks so pretty! I could make a neutral smoky eye in one moment – it’s my summer look that i’m dying for! And for night, Purple Plume would create a beautiful evening out eye.

Carla B Avatar

Purple Smokey Eye:

MACs Shroom in the inner corner
MACs Trax in the crease
MACs Poison Pen on the outer corner
MACs Vanilla as a highlight
MACs Black Track to line my eyes to finish off the smokey look =)

Christina Avatar

I love adding a bit of green to the edges of a black or charcoal smoky eye. it’s my go to look when I’m not feeling especially creative.

Joanna Avatar

I like to do a red and black smoky eye. I know, not too common. But it’s gorgeous. I take MAC cranberry and a dark pigmented black shadow and use the red on my crease and the black on my lashline to crease. I blend, and wala. 🙂

Sandy Avatar

I’ve never done a smokey eye because I always felt that having red hair and freckles would make me look like I was playing in my mother’s makeup! But I’d love to try the CG green shade and see how it looks. I already own Lash Blast and love, love, love it!

Whitney Avatar

I like doing a brown smoky eye because it’s pretty neutral and doesn’t look too harsh or heavy, and it make my blue eyes pop. 🙂

Natalie Avatar

I love brown and plum smoky eyes. They’re intense but can still be work friendly, which is great. Plus, purple is a big spring color!!! Thanks for the opportunity, as always!

Kalee Avatar

i love the classic black or brown smokey, but i love purple smokey eyes more, and sometimes i will pop some green in somewhere to really make my eyes pop.

Carolanne Avatar

i actually have really been loving the black smoky smudgy eye with a bit of gloss on the center lids. very captain jack from pirates of the caribbean, haha. i love how this look is SUPPOSED to look messy, and that creasing actually makes it look better! i love the imperfectness of it all <3 has been my go to look for those nights out =]

gingergirl Avatar

I love nuetral colors so my go to is the brown smokey eye, but when I want something special I love to add a pop of color. I line my eyes with a bright liner or shadow like purple or a metallic gold

Rozae Avatar

Christine, I totally love your blog & videos, it has totally helped me with my makeup routine. I would love to try Purple Plume.

Shela Tat Avatar

For an understated daytime smokey eye, I like taupe, bronze and brown, but for a more dramatic nightime SE, I often go for silver, navy, and black.

Leelee Avatar

My favorite smokey eye look is a mixture of purple and deep cranberry colors, because my eyes are green AND golden (central heterochromia) so this color combination really intensifies my eye color/s and it’s a bit different than the usual black smokey eye.

Ashlee Avatar

I’m usually a classic black smokey eye girl. With a pop of color on my lower lash line. But lately when I wear them it’s always smokey browns!

kim Avatar

My fav is a ashy navy, it really brings out dark brown eyes. I also like to pair it with blue mascara. It really makes your eyes pop!

Shannon Avatar

I LOVE wearing a baby/pastel pink and smoking it out with a matte dark brown. It’s just enough to add dimension without totally making my eyes too dark.

Janet Avatar

I love to do a gunmetal grey/silver with black for the evening. Now that summer is almost here I’m experimenting with coppers and browns for daytime.

Jenniferx33 Avatar

MY FAVORITE SMOKEY Eye color is right between GREEN&GOLD, PURPLE&GOLD or GOLD&BLACK(You know for the late night parties ;-])

frannie Avatar

brown/black smokey eyes, always! if if feel like i need more color, i pop some bright blue eye liner on the botton lash line….. wOo!

Kat Avatar

Purple plum. I’d mix it the purple end with the brown and smoke it out with a plumish shadow. Shades of purple really complements brown eyes. Well, at least mine.

ezzie Avatar

i adore olive-y green-toned smokey eyes; i like how it compliments my brown eyes!
i’m also a fan of plum smokey eyes as well 🙂

Elizabeth Avatar

I love to wear a plum smoky eye! It complements my hazel eyes well and is less harsh compares to the traditional grey/black smoky eye, but just as gorgeous!,

Miss Nicole Avatar

I love to use a warmer silver and a cool taupe to make a smashing smoky eye! I love how unique the colors look together! Its great on any skin tone too!

Jessie Avatar

Personally I have never used the ShadowBlast products before (hence sending in an entry) but I really love a purple and black smoky eye!

I usually do a greyed out purple with cool silvers (or whites) and a dark dark grey or black and it looks gorgeous, it really makes my brown eyes pop just adding that little bit of purple! Even though you can’t really tell it’s there!

Alexis Avatar

my fav smokey eye is using MAC’s satin taupe with a little black in the outer crease, lined with black liner and shroom as a highlight.

Sami Avatar

I love a grey smokey eye. Or taking my brown eyeliner all over my lid and smudging. Then putting an emerald green e/s over it.

Fernanda Baldo Avatar

I really like to use a more greysh king of smokey eye. I’m currently using Bought Grey all over the lid with Typography on the outer corner and crease and a bit of Prussian eye pencil on the waterline, upper and lower lash line.

Anita Avatar

Brown, or blue. I don’t normally like to use black. I use brown if the situation calls for something less weird, but one of my strange beauty habits is wearing blue eyeliner ^_^

Jenny Avatar

i wear a smokey brown and gold eye most frequently since i’m usually in a situation where anything other than a neutral look would be deemed inappropriate. but i love a smokey purple on the weekends 🙂

Lorna Avatar

My favourite colour of smokey eye probably has a hint of bronze in it. I am not a big fan of smokey eys, though. 🙁

I know I have a .co.uk domain, but consider me as in the USA. Military stuff means I’m in the USA.

Mary K Avatar

I love the classic smoky look….BLACK….the darker the better 😀 but i also love a green smoky look. But to choose a favorite i guess ill have to go with black smoky eye….looks good no matter the time of day or the season of the year!!! 😀 😀

Amanda Sun Avatar

I love wearing a deep purple smoky eye! It’s versatile both for day and night (just add thin black liner along the lashlines to take it from day to night), and creates a beautiful eye-popping effect.

Ann Avatar

besides the common dark grey/ black smokey makeup which I do rather regualarly, I like to use varying shades of deep purple to create a less dramatic but still fun smokey eye!

Julianna Avatar

I have green eyes so the purple really makes my eyes pop. I’m also very fair so anything darker looks a little muddy on me.

RR Avatar

I like to wear a dark, emerald green smoky eye. It works well on my skintone, it’s my favorite color and it’s more unique than black. I’ve also never seen another girl out with a dark green smokey eye, and I love to be unique!

nikki watson Avatar

I hate to be soo boring but I love a tradional smoky eye with black/silver/white. Its a classic look you just can’t go wrong with it at any time. I love the simplicity of only two colors. Very simple to do but always stunningly beautiful especially when paired with a nude lip.
Thanks for the chance to win such a fantastic prize!

Heidi Avatar

Definitely a pink/purple smokey eye — makes brown eyes POP! I love to do a pinkish color all over the lid and a dark, sultry purple on the outer corners. Blend, blend, blend and smoke it out with a little black. GORGEOUS!

Jessica Avatar

I love a purple smokey eye and a black/grey smokey eye! I find that a black smokey eye is much more mysterious than any other color, it is also the messiest!

Carolyn Avatar

I love a classic smoky grey, I think it compliments my blonde hair and blue eyes nicely. However, I’m a sucker for purple eyeshadow, so I’ve been known to go for a smoky purple before.

Joyce Avatar

I love the Purple Plume on me. Pinks, purples, and browns look the best, and I love using products with those colors (= However I’m verry excited to try Citrus Flair. I need to jump out of my comfort zone and work with greens and blues more !!

Sabrina Avatar

Hmm I would have to say I love using browns… A nice chocolate brown on the lid with a deeper dark chocolate brown in the crease!!

Tina E. Avatar

I absolutely love blending Club e/s allover and in my crease with the 224 brush, and dabbing humid in the middle of my lid w/ 239, and blending with the 226 brush, Carbon or a matte forest green in the small of my inner and outer corners with Solar White, or Gorgeous Gold as an inner eye hightlight! Very pretty when you do all this in steps and modestly (:

christi Avatar

I keep hesitating on this for some reason and dont know why. I should go down and get some though. I haven’t read all the comments yet, but if you haven’t YOU SHOULD try “sue devitt’s eye intensifier” I’ve been using it for about 4 yrs in “kenya, & tanzania” best chocolate brown and bronzy copper. so many things you can do w/it, and stays on with me. it’s the greatest!

have a g’one! 😉

Kesha Avatar

I’ve recently come to LOVE a subdued Green Smokey Eye; MAC Chartru Paint on the lid as a base, then MAC Bitter/Sharp (from Cult of Cherry quad) on the lid with Espresson to Espresso in the crease and Carbon as the “smoke”. Loves it!

Ashley Marie Avatar

My favorite smokey eye to wear is a brown smokey eye. it works great with my green eyes, and doesn’t look as harsh as black!

Ashley Avatar

I love a dark purple smokey eye, with black as the base and a shimmery purple over top. Thick lashes and pale lips to top it off.

Raychel Avatar

My favorite smokey eye is a shimmery brown with black matte. I usually use UD’s smog with a matte black eyeshadow and a champagne color like sin (UD) for highlights

Shannon Avatar

purple or red (weird I know) smokey eyes are the ones I especially love. Particular the red/copper kind of color, using Stila’s Indian Summer quad (the red copper shade in there).

Amanda Avatar

I love a smokey purple eye!
Smokey eyes are just a little hard for me to pull off cuz of my hooded lids :[ but i love them anyways :p
and the kit looks so INTENSE! lol
Thanks Christine!

Christy Avatar

For fall I like wearing matte black with shimmery grey/silver and then for spring I kinda jumped into the bright teal and purple craze, like what Dick Page did at the Micheal Kors ss and Mac Give me liberty of London look.

Golden Avatar

I have the purple and silver smokey eye and I love it. It makes doing a quick smokey much easier. I would have a blast with the full set.

Jade S. Avatar

i personally love the classic black smokey eye along with the brown smokey eye, there easy to achieve and go with almost anythng

Toni Avatar

I’d wear Onyx Smoke first and definitely the most because I have light blue eyes and black/gray colors really make my eyes stand out.

Felis Avatar

I love, love, love a smoky gray-purple eye with some shimmer! I also rock a wine, copper and black smoky eye sometimes. Oh yeah.

Vana Avatar

My all time hg smokey eye mainstay would be Mac’s beauty marked. Is it black or is it purple? LOL I like to use it wet to get all the purple/black and glittery goodness.
