OMG your puppy Magellan is adorable!!!! As for hauls, I haven’t been getting too crazy… I just keep buying dark and neutral shadows from the permanent collection… And I’ve been picking up blushes and lipsticks here and there… I need something to spice things up a bit…. Maybe a new blush or shadow duo from NARS :]

Beauty Haul: MAC Viva Glam V (finally!), OPI Pandamonium Pink & Mod About You, Nivea Happy Time Body Milk, ROC Hydra+ Destressant Cream, and scored some Seche Vite at Winners (which is amazing cuz they don’t sell it where I live otherwise!).
Going for a roadtrip on Sunday to Nova Scotia, can’t wait! It’s lobster season too so it’s going to be a ‘yummy’ trip! Have a great long weekend!

I bought Thrills lipstick from Mac To the Beach collection, and MAC Plum Dandy lipstick with a B2M, I think I would swap it away, because in my lips looks like other frost lipsticks
Excited for… nothing at all in a non-formula1 weekend, my husband wants to take the children and me to watch Prince of Persia movie, but it’s not the type of movie I like :-S

My most recent beauty haul was from the drugstore. I finally gave in and bought the Lash Blast to try out (after reading and watching so many good reviews about it), I got some lipsticks from Rimmel (the ones with the purple packaging), and some nail polishes from Rimmel as well).
Also, one thing that I’m looking forward to, is my son finally learning to walk. He has been standing on his own for a few weeks now, and has been taking a few steps here and there for a couple of days now. I’m really excited to see him actually walk!

I’m relatively new to the whole makeup addiction thing, so I picked up a few must-haves this week:
– MAC eyeshadows: Blanc Type, Malt, Wedge, and Satin Taupe.
– MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer (NW20)
– MAC Creme Cup lipstick and Ample Pink lip gloss (LOVE these!), and, lastly,
– Clinique’s Almost Lipstick in Black Honey (Love this too!).
I also picked up a few ECOTools brushes from WalMart, and am very pleasantly surprised by the quality! Annnnd, I think that’s it!
My husband’s mom, step-dad and grandmother are coming to visit this weekend, so we’ll spend some time in Niagara Falls, probably. Everyone loves to go there when they visit us (we’re only about 20 mins away, on the Canadian side). 🙂

I spent quite awhile lurking before I started commenting as well (close to a year maybe). Those DO sound like well-researched color choices though! Creme Cup is just SO pretty isn’t it?! I love it! And Studio Sculpt Concealer in NW20 was the VERY first MAC product I ever bought for myself. Hehe 🙂

Well I ‘hauled’ last week so nothing this week… Exams start on monday so will be busy with that this weekend 🙁
After wednesday I don’t have exams again til 7th June so maybe I will treat myself to some MAC blue eyeshadows next weekend. I do quite like shimmermoss and sweet and punchy from to beach. As for blue I’m deciding hehe 🙂

I went to my further Mac counter (there’s one very close and one a little further away) last Sunday to test the Coral Crepe paint pot as my closer counter didn’t have a tester, but didn’t get one after all, however, I bought 3 Lustreglasses. I just love their texture so much! I’ve also ordered a few things from Debenhams last night as they’re offering 10% off on new summer make up, so I got the new Meteorites pearls (in 03 Beige), Dior quint in Crush Glow and the new Lancome Tropic minerale bronzer. I also got the other Dior quint (Ready-to-glow) and the new Dior single (Golden spotlight), the Laura Mercier Polished cream highlighter palette and the new Givenchy sun powder on eBay. They were all a lot cheaper than normal price, all brand new, so a good week for picking up bargains. 🙂 Oh and I picked up a 75 ml Shalimar EDT in TK Maxx a lot cheaper than normal price as well.
Excited for going up to London tomorrow and meeting a friend for coffee and chat, plus going to Legoland on Sunday with the family. Also excited for the good weather we finally have in the UK (it’s sunny and about 75 degrees today). Yay!
Wow! 10% off high end brands like Dior and Guerlain… amazing!

at the mac store, i also picked up tunnel of love superglass. my bf asked e, what gloss is that? he think its hot, lol.

To the Beach goodies for me too! Although, I talked myself out of Sweet & Punchy at the unveiling party, and now I’m regretting it. Guess I’m just gonna have to stalk the MAC website to make sure I get one when it launches, LOL! I’m also gonna be stalking Blackboard this weekend waiting for my grades to post- argh- the suspense!
P.S.- I can’t decide which is cuter: Mellan, or that bag! 😉
LOL! I’m biased, so I’d probably say the dog… but maybe the bag…!
Makeup: I bought some more i.d. Bare Escentuals BareMinerals matte foundation. I know some people have issues with it, but it’s really my favorite foundation right now. I’ve also been on a brush-buying kick. I have several MAC brushes, but (blasphemy?) I like EcoTools brushes *more* in most cases. I also went on a hunt for Sally Hansen’s “Hidden Treasure” nailpolish and it does not disappoint.
YARN: I found a great sale, so I bought 2 sk of Noro sock yarn and another 2 sk of Malabrigo Silky Merino (for a sweater I’m planning) and (related) 3 sets of Addi Turbo lace needles in sizes 5 – 7.
What I’m excited for: So many good things are happening! I’m excited for the change in my schedule that will allow me to pursue my passions in another venue and continue to do the work I’ve been doing for the last 6 months. So excited!
LOL! Which EcoTools brushes do you prefer to MAC?
Haul: I was sooo bad this week. This week I picked up the whole Shrek for OPI collection. I also had a decent sized MAC haul with four shadows (blanc type, handwritten, nocturnelle, swiss chocolate), three lipsticks (Made to Order, Viva Glam Cyndi, Viva Glam V), two lip glasses (Fold and Tuck, Viva Glam V), Fluidline in Dipdown, an eyebrow pencil, and a 116 brush. I picked up Lorac Behind the Scenes eye primer, a Korres lip gloss set, and some skin products from Sephora.
Excited for: The weather! It is supposed to be in the 80s this weekend which is pretty impressive for May in Wisconsin.
How are you liking the Shrek collection?
I have only tried the two blues so far, with Whats with the Cattitude? on my fingers and Ogre the Top Blue on my toes. Today I will be doing the greens. I am really into blues, greens, and purples right now, so this collection was perfect for me.

So here is my fav haul of all time and most recent, even though i only got on thing. So there is this Mac store in downtown Toronto and i went in looking for a new fluid line. But instead, the MUA offered me something i never seen before, which is so new because i am a MAC addict. Anyways, so he offered me a Chromaline which is from MAC PRO. I was like “OMG MAC PRO”, so i felt pretty damn special. and I don’t even have a pro card! The Chromaline is great, super soft and creamy. So something good that happened to me, I just got a new job and i love it, I am super greatful! 🙂

I got theBalm’s TimeBalm in Light/medium, Avene Hydrance Optimatle Rich Hydrating Cream, Nars multiple in Malaysia (I think this is a better buy than the new cream bronzer from MAC) and EOS Lip Balm Sphere in Sweet Mint— Can’t Wait!!
I’m definitely going to check out Chanel’s Bronzer. I’ve heard so many good things about Chanel Bronze Universal– but I can’t find this online. Is it discontinued? Is there another substitute from Chanel?

I just hauled from the beauty.com sale – Dr Brandt Pores No More pore refiner, BE Matte foundation in Fair and BE Buxom Sailor Girls mini l/g kit. I really like Dr Brandt’s products, but the price always holds me back so i am happy about the f&f sale. That and BE Matte work so well for my skin in the summer.

I bought a lot of MAC stuff yesterday! I got the following pigments: Old Gold, Corn Flower, Blue Brown, Teal & Golden Olive. I also got the following E/S: Aquadisiac, Freshwater, Contrast and then So There Jade liner. 😀
I can’t wait to check out the pigments, it’s the one MAC area I haven’t delved much into in the past for some reason!

Sephora – Gave in and purchased the MUFE HD foundation in 125 after using up my sample! Also purchased my first NARS blush in Deep Throat and Kat Von D tattoo concealer. Liking all three so far!
MAC – Had a Back2Mac trade for Syrup lipstick.
Drugstore – Revlon superlustrous lipgloss in Coral Reef (LE) and Pink Whisper, Revlon Colorburst lipstick in Peach, Maybelline Natural Smokes quad, NYC bronzer in Sunny, and baby shampoo to clean my brushes! (went on a drugstore binge after a bunch of YT suggestions since i usually don’t have much drugstore products
Excited for: a weekend to relax (no dance performances, no school conferences, no banquets, etc). i’ll still have to study of course but it will be nice to SLEEP IN 🙂

I hauled theBalm Shady Lady palette, volume 2, plus Curvy Cami because I LURVE purple and I got Hot Mama as well. Really impressed with Hot Mama, silker to use than Nars Orgasm, good pigmentation and lasts preety well too. Plus it looks nearly identical to Lancome eyeshadow in Kitten Heel – and the packagign is cute too!
Also started trying out Comvita Huni (this is a NZ brand) Every Night Cream and Whitening Moisturizer (I have some melamsa patches), I’ve only been using them for about 4 or 5 days and I have to say, I’m impressed. Very creamy, very gentle and very effective – has completely changed the moisture balance of my skin! And they smell delicious too, honey and spices (myrrh and licorice extract) yum!
Excited for baking! I’m going on a bit of a frenzy this weekend, I am making cookies (triple chocolate), banana, date and walnut loaf, cinnamon & raisin bagels and chicken mustard pie.
Mmm… all the baking made me hungry, LOL!

I don’t know if I bought anything… Thinking… Oh I bought an extra Luna CCB cause I wanted to try mixing a custom silver CCB (since Silver was discontinued what, three years ago?). It worked! 2-3 parts Luna to 1 part Air Force Blue (depending on how dark you want it). I also added a little bit of Blue lipmix so it was more of a blue-silver instead of just metallic grey. It looks like a CCB version of Silver Ring 🙂
Ooh! And I met with a printer this week to get quotes for having greeting cards made up with my little drawings on them (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EN3w-JyaYq4) not quite a haul there, but it’s getting close.
Tonight we’re having our weekly theme dinner with friends – We’re doing a “down-home hillbilly” kind of theme with chicken friend steak and gravy, grilled corn on the cob, ‘taters and whatever else we can come up with… Probably cobler of some kind. That’s all I got planned for the weekend so far though.
UPDATE! I JUST – I mean JUST – got a NFR promo of the new Aveda Control Force hairspray! (I think it launches next month?) I LOVE Aveda’s Control line of products so I have been REALLY excited about this since I saw it being used at NY Fashion Week.
I actually sprayed this on my dry hair (I couldn’t wait LOL) but I have to say, so far I’m kinda liking it. It’s feels a little like a styling wax if you work it in (a little flexable). I also love the smell (nothing new, I like the smell of almost all of Aveda’s products – Except their foundations – TRIPPLE ICK!!!)
This smell kind of reminds me of a gin and tonic. Hah!

I didn’t buy any new makeup this week (though my birthday is on Sunday so I’ll be heading over to Sephora for my free gift!) but last Saturday something VERY exciting happened! My boyfriend and I were on vacation in San Diego and he PROPOSED at the San Diego Zoo! It was perfect 🙂 This weekend we’ll be going out to celebrate my 21st and our engagement!

hi everyone, I live in uk and today I went to boots where there is à fantastic 3 for 2 on all drugstore brands (too faced and urban decay included) and I got: too faced free love lipstick, revlon colorstay foundation (finally I convinced myself To try it) maybelline pulsing mascara (love it!).
Then I got some stuff I ordered online like tom ford for estee lauder collection lipgloss, Hello kitty mac lipstick in strayn’, nyx lippot gloss in ultraviolet, laura mercier eyeshadow base (fantastic)

i must say, i’m really happy with the 239. my former main brush from bobbi brown was just too fluffy. think i’ll relegate it to blending now. thanks for all the info christine! temptalia really helped me make my choices.

It was my birthday on Tuesday and I received Gucci´s Flora EDT as well as some VS Endless Love Lotions and Body Butters. I bought Dior´s Lip Glow and Loreal´s Color Riche Lipstick in Berry Rose. I absolutely love pink so I also got two very different pink shirts from Zara and Paula Cahen D´anvers (Argentine brand).
I´m looking forward to the long weekend, four whole days!!! It´s supposed to rain but I don´t mind.

Excited For….My graduation party tomorrow. It took me 6 yrs to graduation. I am happy and proud of my accomplishments and I finally have my B.A. in Psychology. Now it’s time to celebrate with my friends and family.
