Korres Eyeshadows Review, Photos, Swatches
Korres Eyeshadows ($16.00 for 0.06 oz.) are smooth, blendable, and pigmented. I’m actually surprised at how well-rounded Korres’ line is, just because I came to know them as a skincare brand first, rather than a makeup brand, but they can do both well.
- #42S Green White is a sky blue with a silver-white frost sheen.
- #44S Golden Green is a light, springy chartreuse green with yellow gold sheen.
- #46S Olive Green is a smoked out gray-brown with a taupe sheen. I really don’t see much green in it, but it’s a lovely cool-toned brown with maybe a smidgen of khaki olive in it.
- #84S Sky Blue is a darkened periwinkle blue with violet and a bright, nearly metallic sheen. This one is more like a stormy blue sky, maybe. Not at all sky blue (in fact, they could have named #42S Sky Blue without missing a beat).
I’ll definitely put together a look using some of these shades, but after playing around with some combos on my eyes (nothing finished!), I like the way these blend together. They’re very smooth and apply evenly. The packaging is simple and functional–plastic square flip-top compacts. The back of the compact has a colored label and labeling information, so while I could see clear lids being more functional, the backs do give you a good idea as to what’s inside. I would, though, like to find out who names the colors, because they never seem to quite work…
At the moment, Korres has their eyeshadows marked down to $7–so, I’d say at that price, these are most certainly a steal!
Also available in: #12 Base, #22 Orange, #34 Golden Brown, #74 Light Purple, #27 Golden Bronze, #82 Light Blue

Recommendation: If you like softer, more muted variations on color, Korres Eyeshadows seem to offer a selection of shades that will give you color without being bright or too bold.
Availability: Korres
I love the quality of these Korres shadows, especially for $7, and I have a bunch. Unfortunately, the ones in the white packaging are really hard for me to open! I don’t know why, but at least 3 of my 7 or 8 have big nail gouges from struggling to open 🙁
That’s weird! I have them on my desk right now (three white, one brown), and they’re all the same in terms of opening.
Which are your faves?
Yeah, I don’t know what it is 🙁 Most of mine are brown fortunately! I really like the “Sky Blue” one, but I use the Plum the most…it comes out more muted on the lid and is great for amping up the crease!
Aww! Man, that is bizarre though!
Where did you find them for $7? Just for reference, did you purchase anything from Tarte on Hautelook?
http://www.korresusa.com!
Nope, I didn’t.
I’ve been meaning to try their skin care line, does anyone out there currently use it?
I’ve done some reviews on their skincare products – overall, I like it. I haven’t found anything I can’t live without, but it seems like a solid skincare range. I never stick with anything for long, though 😛
Nice. Looks really pretty.
I’ve always wanted to try their eyeshadows but they only ever had two colours when I went to Sephora. I should have bought the midnight eyes collection when i saw it! Now that I think about it, it was a good deal.
Yeah, Korres does a lot of value sets – definitely worth a look-see!
The eyeshadows are also $7 a pop at sephora.com!
Okay, I don’t know what to buy, LOL. I’m planning on checking out Inglot this week, then stopping by Sephora to check out Korres on sale, and somehow I’m still saving 600 dollars for my summer class, some money for the MAC friends and family coming up, and then MAC Disney Villains collection in September, oh gosh. XD
Uh oh!! At least Inglot is cheap…
i actually bought the 84S one and found it sooooo unpigmented. which was a disappointment cuz i love korres line.
Oh no! I had pretty good pay off with mine – I wonder if there is batch variation?
Those shades are lovely.
i love these eye shadows, i got all of them from sephora for $7.
i think they have some very pretty colours and nice neutrals, and as you said the colours are slightly muted. ilove these, thanks for the review.
I have almost every color, and the dark colors are ok, but the light ones have crappy pigmentation. I also have a problem with opening one of the white ones also! For those interested, use the coupon code SURVEY for 25% off
Does olive green look like Sweet Sienna pigment or smoke and diamonds to you? Thanks!
Nah… too green 🙁
I have the eyeshadow in Gold (24S) if I am not mistaken. It looks more like a champagne kind of color.
The colors you showed in this post look very lovely together. Green White is lovely and my favourite.
I love Korres shadows! So far I have the shades 27S golden bronze, 75S purple, 77S plum, 12S base, 24S gold and some matte dark brown & base which shade numbers I can’t remember.
There’s also some new shades out there (with the newer dark packaging), but I’m not sure whether they’re available in the States yet (I live in Europe): 14 ivory, 15 nude, 25 golden, 28 golden brown, 31 bronze brown, 36 brun, 41 lime, 43 light green, 49 cypress green, 55 metallic grey, 62 light pink, 65 rose pink, 66 pink.
Basically, I’ve found the Korres makeup really good and affordable, especially the Monoi Oil Bronzer is a keeper!
7 bucks only? I like the packaging and the blue is very pretty.
I, too, would like to know who names these colours. The colours are rarely what the name would imply! Same with the lip products.
Now that I got that out of the way, I have to say that these eye shadows look beautiful and pigmented. Maybe I’ll pick them up when I head over to Sephora! *does happy dance and squeal*
LOL! I know, right? Makes you wonder…
Hi. I love these colors, but I can’t find out where to buy them. Sephora.com doesn’t have them, neither does Amazon. Any advice?
korresusa.com! 🙂
I lvoe these products, they last ages, they are good for you, and I really like the simple packaging, its not clumpy, and its easier to store at home and pack when you go on holiday. All the people who work at my korres store (london Kings Road) are lovely and super helpful!
Definitely reccomnend these versatile, lovely to wear eyeshadows!
i adore the simple but cool packaging of these!
i personally like their matte shadows better than the frosty ones, but overall i love korres!
The colors are amazing
or you can always visit Greece! Here Korres products are half the price and you get a trip vacation! cheers!
Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows where I can get Korres organic essential oils. I bought a lavender and a geranium last year on vacation in Greece but it seems that they’re only sold there. I can’t find them anywhere on the internet which seems really odd. The quality was amazing and I really want to try the others and restock on the lavender and geranium. Please help!
