Christine,

Do you apply your lipstick straight out of the tube? Or do you use a lip brush? And all the formulas, no matter what brand, seem to apply so moist on your lips. What’s your secret?

Straight outta the tube! I only use a lip brush when 1) I have the patience (and time!) and 2) it’s a very, very dark/rich color that I need to last awhile (like going out to dinner with red lipstick).

I keep my lips moisturized 24/7 as much as possible, exfoliate 2-3 times a week, and that’s about it.

this was weird….i bought d&g violet and it was NOTHING like this pic, i was SO sad. it was MUCH darker, i’d say the closest color comparison would be to mac up the amp, but a few shades darker even. and it even wasn’t shiny at all. i feel like one of our lipsticks got mislabeled or something, it’s SO odd.

LOL! I looked at the pinks and went “Ooooh, have to get number 4! SO pretty!” and then checked and… I already own it.

I have Flirty too, but it seems to be much sheerer on me. But completely fabulous with Philosophy Raspberry Mousse over the top!

LM Hydrangea does look wonderful!

Chanel Phoenix and Laura Mercier Hydrangea are calling me!! This post is so tempting. I have Lancome Poshpink which I think is closed to Hydrangea but slightly cooler (pinkier). I can’t decide whether to get these two. I’m on budget now:(

I have the Guerlain Rogue G in Giullette. I wore this last Monday when I was out to the mall w/ my bf, and one lady complimented me and the color of my lipstick. I love Guerlain lipsticks, especially the Rogue G’s, I can’t find any other lipsticks, less expensive or otherwise that can match the stunning colors of Rogue G’s.

I believe it’s random for the most part. It’s a party with cocktails, (usually) scantily-clad men serving drinks and appetizers, and then tons of people. You’ll wait in line, they’ll let you in (they have to make sure there aren’t too many people in at a time), hand you a postcard that has a list of each item in the launch, then you mark which ones you want and the quantity. You can mill around, check out the new products, and then hand your shopping list to any artist who’ll grab the products for you while you wait in line to pay.

Admittedly, I am always there with a purpose, so I don’t stay any longer than necessary myself! I’m also allergic to alcohol, so I can’t tell ya how good the drinks are ;P

Love your pinks!! MAC girl about town and Milani… Show Orchid intrigates me! My fave for this summer was Diego Dalla Palma 147 (new look), but it’s sold out anywhere I looked, so these are my new faves! Any sugestions which are better for blondes?? 😀
