Totally relate, Sarah! I work in DC, although live about 90 miles outside of. We still have snow here from the last blizzard that came though with another 4-6 inches being predicted over the next 2 days. Loving many of the Spring releases. I did test out the new Lancome Blue Ciel palette and liner that I purchased over the weekend. If you go for subtle pastel shades with blue, it’s for you. I found I had to use the liner powder for my crease bc the crease shade was too shimmery for me and didn’t create the depth I need. The blue liner is a really bright blue but I liked it for the inner corners and blended a bit out. I think the next release I have calendered is MAC x Zac Posen which I have as 2/25.
After last year, this snowstorm was a mere dusting. Last yeart got to the point where the snow cave in my driveway was taller than the car. Someone needs to straighten out that groundhog.
I looked at it, unfortunately it’s simply too cool for me. There is something about cool blues/purples that gives me dead-eye. :/
