ASIENCE shampoo & conditioner
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum
Kerastase Masquintense
I had very damaged hair. Note the tense. My hair is wonderful, sleek and soft now – precisely like how I always hoped it would be. I owe it to the above three products 🙂
Nivea diamond gloss shampoo and conditioner
after washing i use
Tigi Bed Hair After Party
or Fekkai winter anti static spray
both smell yummy
I’m using Beverly Hills Control Shampoo and Conditioner and Phytospecific Intense Nutrition Masque. My hair is in rehab from years of color treatments and blow dryers.. but after a few months, these products have really changed the texture and the overall look of my hair. Love them!!
I usually switch them up because there’s always something new I want to try. =D
Right now I’m using DevaCare “Low-poo” to wash my hair. They call it that because it’s not harsh like shampoo, there are no harsh surfactants that strip your natural oils from your scalp. It leaves my hair clean and silky, not dry. It’s awesome for people with curly/dry/damaged hair.

For conditioner I’m using this local brand called BeeCeuticals, it’s all natural and made with honey, royal jelly, and a bunch of other good stuff. I LOOOVE it!

For my leave-in conditioner I use this Lamas stuff that’s wonderful:
http://www.lamasbeauty.com/detangler.html
And to style I just use Pureology’s Styling Cream and/or Sebastian Potion No. 9. or Giovanni’s Magnetic Gel if I go curly.
Not to mention the cabinet full of other stuff I use now and then, lol.. but that is my normal routine.
Hey Trace! Too many links WAS the reason it didn’t go through – it just goes to moderation and has to be approved by me (which it was) 🙂
Oh! Okay, got it. Thanks Christine! 🙂 I thought I was going crazy, lol
Forgot, the deep conditioner I use a couple times a week is Giovanni Magnetic Restructurizing Treatment..
OH god… i am obsessesed with pureology! i love their shampoo, conditioner, leave-in, super straight creme and their serum! but I also use bumble spray, bed heads “after party” creme, federic fekkai volumizer and its a 10 hair mask. by the way i’m a hairstylst, i regularly use those listed but i’ve got a bathroom ful of other goods too.
I’m using
TIGI Catwalk Fashionista shampoo
either LUSH American Cream or John Frieda Brilliant Brunette conditioner
and afterwards TIGI S Factor Papaya Leave-In Moisture spray which is my HG leave-in treatment!
K Pak shampoo and daily conditioner. Along with Chi spray in Kertatin conditioner. If you have any color putting protein back in your hair makes a difference. I believe you get what you pay for in this area of up keep.
I have wayyyy too many hair products (but that’s what happens when you’re friends with a stylist. I can’t complain.)
I use Lush’s Big shampoo and Retread conditioner (sometimes American Cream instead when I want to smell really good). I also switch every other wash with Paul Mitchell color care, Redken whatever their color care line is, and whatever drugstore brand I have laying around (L’Oreal kids, Herbal Essences, Garnier). I also use Bumble and Bumble Alojoba shampoo and conditioner sometimes. I want to try the Creme de Coco line next.
After washing I use Paul Mitchell super skinny and sometimes add Gloss Drops or Bumble and Bumble Brilliantine or Grooming Creme. If I’m going to style or blow dry I’ll a volumizing mousse (currently Body Shop’s wheat protein), but I usually just air dry. My hair dries straight as long as it’s not humid. If my hair’s already dry I looove After Party for flyaways and shine, but I never use it on wet hair.
I have a few different leave-in conditioners that I rotate through. My fave right now is the Paul Mitchell Color Protect (smells awesome).
Next I want to try Pureology’s products and start using some hair masks. Thanks for the tips, previous posters!
Oh, I used to color my hair with henna in college. I looove using “colorless” henna or products containing henna for its awesome conditioning properties.
What exactly is Paul Mitchell Super Skinny? A few other people have mentioned it, and I love Paul’s stuff and am always on the lookout for a new hair product!!
i am currently looooving redken’s smooth down shampoo & conditioner… but i will have to move into their color-friendly stuff soon enough!
i have too many shampoos and conditioners and i’m trying to use them all up
but i cannot live without fekkai’s glossing cream. i use it as a leave in conditioner and its the only way i can brush my long hair wet without ripping out half my head.
once i finish up my stockpile i think i’m gonna have to try some of the suggestions above
I can’t use any products containing perfume anymore (basically impossible to find) so I’ve had to go all natural.. so for my curly hair, I use a shampoo bar made of all oils (locally made)… it coats my curls and I don’t even have to use product in my hair unless I want to, which is great. Then I use a natural conditioner made by JASON Naturals. & My styling products are all made by Druide (all natural again). For curly haired women, natural products work wonders.
Shampoos: I alternate between Brocato CLoud 9 & ABBA Creme Moist.
Conditioners: L’oreal Style Infusing for fine hair (for wavy days) L’oreal Nutri Gloss for Wavy hair (for straight days)
Volume: Got2Be Voluptuous Volume mousse & souffle, Tresseme Tres Two hairspray
Gel: Got2Be Voluptuous Volume gel, Garnier Hard Curl Gel, Herbal Essences Set Me Up Spray Gel
Shine: Mop Shine Drops
Creme: Garnier Soft Curl cream
Texture: Pantene Texture & Shine pomade, JF Sheer Blonde Spray Wax, Sunsilk Waves of Envy Beach spray
Heat Styling: V05 Miracle Mist
Flyaways: JF Sheer Blonde Dream Cream
Greasy hair fixes: Charles Worthington 2nd Day Hair mud, loose powder dusted onto roots w/fluffy brush
CO wash: Suave Ocean Breeze shampoo
I usually use a Redken shampoo (higher end without being ridiculously expensive, I guess a girl has to have limits!)… and then their heat protection serum (I don’t remember exactly what it’s called, I think Heat Glide, but any silicone product will do really.) I never use hair spray because my look does not require it.
OOh and the Redken deep conditioner is fabulous.
I use TIGI’s Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo and Conditioner; for blow drying, I use Biosilk “something”; for flat iron I use a Rusk thermal spray and for holding things in place I use Liquid Latex by Brocato!!!
I was recently converted to Kerastase, and as their products do work, I’ve become quite a fan. Right now I’m using their Chroma Riche range: shampoo, masque for intense reparation, and an anti-frizz, luminous essence for after washing. Of course I cannot forget the Ciment Termique, to help protect hair from the heat of the blow drier. It has become a must-have for me. The other week I also bought their spray-on UV protector, to apply before going outside.
I’m lazy, so here’s the description of Super Skinny from the PM website:
SMOOTHES AND CONDITIONS UNRULY HAIR
Smoothes and Softens – Our exclusive Super Skinny Complex penetrates deep into the hair shaft where it displaces water and constricts the hair
Conditions and Seals – Lightweight silicones smooth, condition and seal hair with added shine
Reduces Drying Time – A smoother surface and tighter diameter greatly reduce drying time and speed up styling time
Thanks so much for the info…looks like I need to pick up some Super Skinny after work 🙂
Oh, and I’m a lazy girl too 🙂
Fructis Sleek and Shine and the Moisture Works mixed together.. after ironing my hair i put a dab of the Sleek and Shine conditioner on it.
LUSH Daddy-O Shampoo and Marilyn Hairmask – wonderful for my poor bleached hair!
Tresemme natural conditioner
Nizoral/Head&Shoulders since I am blessed with eczema on my scalp (and really shouldn’t dye my hair)
You will laugh at this. I am African American and wear my hair natural. I do a no’poo method where I don’t use shampoo, but instead wash my hair with conditioner. I am currently using Aussie Moist conditioner
http://www.aussie.com/us/collections/moist/conditioner.jsp
and S curl texturizer gel
http://aarp.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=100649&id=prod8234&navAction=jump&navCount=0
You would not believe the curl definition and shine I get. My goal is hair like Taneka Ray on Extra.
Correction I’ve been using Aussie Awesome volume conditioner.
I use shampoo from Trader Joes with added Rosemary and Tea-Tree EO. Conditioner wise I use JASON’s Tea-Tree one mixed with a bit of Aussie 3 minute deep conditioner. I do a tea rinse every few weeks, mix of black tea and fresh rosemary – my hair loves it! My scalp hates me so I have to be careful what I use – I’ve tried so many different things, I’ve got half used bottles all over the place.
I don’t really style my hair – I have long straight well behaved hair. I mix a bit of aloe gel in when it’s wet and twist it up. I do heat style a few times a year, so I have a heat protection spray around.
Bumble and Bumble Color Care shampoo and conditioner in RED. Hair Powder when i need a pick me up with volume or to get rid of any excess oil and i always use the styling cream. kind of a gel/mouse that gives me great volume but you cant tell i use it at all!
All Ojon-Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner, volumizing mist, hydrating mist… Also, a leave in conditioner from The Body Shop, and sometimes Hard Head Hair Spray.
Shiseido Tsubaki Shampoo and Conditioner
Frederik Fekkai Smooth Hair cream … or sometimes the Glossing cream
I use Sunsilk Waves Shampoo and Conditioner…then Bed Head Superstar Conditioning spray…for a beach look I an using Sunsilk Waves spray…a crunchy curly look bed head superstar volumizing spray
I had been experimenting with higher end shampoos and conditioners, but I keep going back to Aussie Sun-Touched Shine shampoo and my HG Three Minute Miracle Deeeeep. But then I use some Potion 9 after towel drying, dry with my T3, add a little Ojon shine spray lightly with my hands, straighten or wave my hair with T3 medium duality, and then a little Fekkai Glossing Cream on the ends. I’ve just started using the Ojon Restorative Treatment (i think that’s the name) as a mask once every couple weeks and that makes my hair feel really nice.
biolage colour care line
oh n the body shop moisturizing honey shampoo + conditioner. smells awesome!
I use:
Aveda Color Conserve shampoo or Shampure
Color conserve conditioner
Aveda spray Brilliant
Phytocitrus Mask
and I’ve just bought the set Smooth Infusion Aveda 😉
I’m a big fan of redken’s shampoos and conditioners as well as tigi oatmeal and honey line 🙂 smells so good too!
