I’d like to try the first 2 and the red liquid lipsticks. I hope we’ll get them here :))
*sigh* Why don’t companies ever tell you whether their lipcolors are scented or not? Especially drugstore brands, which don’t have testers.
Pinks, purples, and grays, oh my! I do hope you can review some of these! I love the look of the palette, but I have the Blushed Nudes, and the quality & performance is mediocre at best, so I’m pretty hesitant.
The liquid lip colors are nice, but I want more colors – more dark shades, browns, and a nice red. Here’s to hoping the formula is nice and they expand the color selection soon. I can’t wait to try out the color tattoo crayons though!
I’ve seen early reviews mention the liquid lipsticks aren’t exactly matte. They don’t dry down and set and become transfer proof like colourpop, LA splash, Jefree Star, Stila etc lipcolours do, they retain a bit of shine and stay tacky.
So basically it is virtually a matte-ish lipstick bullet put into liquid form. I’ll probably still pick a couple of them up though because they do look nice.
*heavy breathing*
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
I’m interested. Maybelline caught my eye with their matte lipsticks. I’d love to see these reviewed! I am most excited by the eye crayons and I’d love to see that palette work out well!
I’m a big fan of their matte lipsticks, interested in how these liquid mattes will perform. The Color Tattoos crease on me and dry up too fast, hope these crayons do better. Not holding out much hope for the palette
Colour Tattoos in crayon form?! Cannot wait for reviews!
A mauvey-brown eye primer (I like those shades as lip colors)? WTF! Should’ve went with a pale yellow (like soft ochre) shade.
I’m curious about the primer and crayons. The liquid lipstick colors are nice, but dupable. Seeing as the Maybelline Nude palette was by all accounts terrible, and the Blushed Nudes (which I do have it) is just OK, I’d not be inclined to buy Rock Nudes.
Here we go again. Another late comer to the liquid matte lipstick trend. Ugh.?
Buuut, I am very interested in those Color Tattoo Concentrated Crayons! I prefer jumbo pencils over potted any day.?
The palette? Idk? That’s a wait and see type of thing. Although if the quality is there, it could wind up being a good cool-neutral budget palette.
Some interesting things in this collection. I hope it makes it’s way to all of the rest of the world 🙂
I hope the lipsticks are similar to the new L’Oreal Matte glosses. They are amazing. The first 2 nude colors of the lipsticks are calling my name so I hope they perform well.
Those crayons look absolutely beautiful and gorgeous colours – hopefully they will add a forest green in there soon. Love them.
Oooooh! I hope the crayons perform well. The colors look tempting. Fingers crossed that the formula is good!
I picked up a couple of the liquid lipsticks at Rite Aid yesterday. Not impressed with them…they never dried down to be matte on me
Thank you for posting your experience with the liquid lipsticks, Jen. I hate wasting money on beauty products that don’t perform well. I’ll skip these!
I am in the UK and wish Maybelline would release as many colour tattoo eye shadows as they do in the US.
Maybelline does some good lip products, so I might get some of the darker matte liquid shades! I hope they do well!
They already launched the Maybelline Vivid Mattes in Asia (albeit in different packaging) and I was quite disappointed. They are glossy and not matte at all. I was expecting them to be more like NYX soft mattes.
I bought one of the new eye shadow primers, the shiny one. It seems to work pretty well – kept my shadow on all day without creasing or smearing or disappearing (my usual issue). It could even be used alone to add a shine to my eyelids without putting a shadow on top of it.
Some more eye crayons to feed my addiction.
I’m looking forward to these! I’m liking the shades.
Oooh. I hope that purple looks as great as it does in that pic!
The Vivid Matte Liquid lipstick do not dry down to a matte finish. If you do not like the feel of a matte liquid lipstick, you can rock with them. Prior to applying them, use a lip pencil as they tend to bleed.
I bought one of the liquid lipsticks last month, do NOT buy. The texture is nice, like a thicker NYX matte lip cream, but the smell is nauseating and it tastes even worse. I’m a heavy scent person, I bathe in perfume, but even this was too much. And it doesn’t dry matte, transfers like a mother… If you can get past the smell, it’s a nice lip gloss pretty much.
