What would you FINALLY try? What would you just indulge in… because you could? Would you still be practical about it or would you go crazy?

Buy some Tom Ford perfume, stock up on Kate Somerville ExfoliKate, a few more Guerlain Rouge Gs, and with whatever was left, get all of MAC’s permanent eyeshadows that I’m missing! Sigh, $1,000 doesn’t go as far as you think once you throw in pricey perfume and skincare!
I think I would buy lots and lots of Chanel goodies! That all builds up easily! Especially skincare products! Ohh I need some NOW! 😀
Buy every single peach lip gloss I can find to finally reach my HG haha
I would spend it on:
A Clarisonic
Chanel no. 5 perfume
High end skin care (DDF and Dermalogica!)
MUFE Face and Body Foundation (I already have the HD foundation, but I would love more than one type of liquid foundation)
Anything left over I would splurge for a day at a spa
I’m swooning just thinking about all of this!!!
I would buy all MAC pigments in their original jar packaging just because I really like the look of them when they’re all lined up by color and then I would totally invest in makeup brushes.

i dont have many perfumes so i think id get like 10 perfumes, some high end skincare and a ton of mac with what ever is left!!
I would stock up on Estee Lauder Idealist skin refinisher. Seriously, that stuff makes my pores disappear. I would try some Perricone MD products and I would by only MAC and NARS shadows and blushers woth the rest 🙂

I would get a clarisonic, to start! And I think I would take my mom and her sisters for a day of beauty and get them all new, high end make up. 🙂
I would probably expand on my Chanel lipstick collection (you could never go wrong with Chanel lipsticks), get some Tom Ford perfumes, and maybe his up coming lipsticks, I’m so curious to try them out but the price tag is really steep and I would indulge in some luxury brands like Guerlain or Cle de Peau shamelessly.
I would build on my mac collection for sure by building up my pallete collection, building up my blush and my brush collection and then buying new a new organiser to organise my new stuff. ( also maybe all 3 of the Juicy couture fragrances0
I’d stock up on my skin care products so I wouldn’t have to worry about that for a while. & I’d try all the expensive brands that I don’t indulge in now like YSL, Chanel, Dior etc. I’d also get everything on my MAC wish list.

I would definitely expand my e/s collection, more eyeliners, and invest in MAC brushes!
I would try Chanel. I would also buy more YSL and D & G. More NARS also, I would pick up the rest of the MAC shadows and blushes from the permanent line I have procrastinated getting. I would also go hit up some CCO’s!!!! Oh and a good preventative wrinkle cream!

I’d stock up on all the Urban Decay 24/7 Liners that I don’t have and grab all the MAC Pigments and Glitters I can get my hands on.

I would buy a clarisonic, an airbrush compressor & gun, airbrush foundations for all skin tones (I’m starting to freelance), a makeup forever flash palette, and use whatevers left on YSL lipstick. I have 2 rouge volupte lipsticks & I love them.
I would buy Chanel lipstick and eyeshadow, some Mac stuff, some Dior stuf….a few things from the department stores at the same time as gifts were going on. I use the free gifts for my friends in my home country to give as gifts to their friends since no one there can afford great makeup!

I’d buy a blush palette from MAC and another 15 eyeshadow, most NARS eyeshadows, 3 or 4 blushes from NARS, a mac 188, 187, 190, 130 for face brushes (the full size ones I want instead of my SE)and also the NARS yachiyo blush brush and botan brush, I’d want some more eye brushes I’d’get more than one 219, 239, 222, 217, 227 and 213 to finish of my eye brush collection, and with the rest I’d buy a lot of lipsticks and Liners. oh this would be a dream! I’d also buy new clip in extensions!
I would probably go crazy and buy whatever looked interesting though I would definitely get La Mer moisturizer and some YSL glosses. 🙂

It would also be great to try too faced’s pink leopard bronzer and that nars night clubbing and strada eyeshadow…some nars lipglosses and cream blushes/shadows, some benefit, and urban decay. wow the list goes on and on, i’m really getting myself excited here..

Oh it would be so amazing. I would get a Clairsonic skin care brush to finally treat my acne, pick up the new Harajuku lovers LE fragrance set, stock up on Makeup Forever foundation, hit the MAC counter since I am new to the brand( I’d share it with my Mom since she is new to the brand too) and if there was anything left over hit LUSH so I can take a relaxing bath from all that frenzied shopping! That sounds like SO much fun!!
i would buy SOOOO much MAC makeup and check out sephora aha i would go CRAZY!! prob get a ton of clothes at urban outfitters and get a very nice graduation dress 🙂
I would buy a return ticket to New York and buy loads of stuff, don’t even know what, just have a good look around. Maybe I’d time it for the launch of Mac’s To the beach collection, so I can buy those cheaper than in the UK.
But do you know what, there is one piece of make up that I want more than anything, and unfortunately having $1000 still wouldn’t help, as it’s an old LE Guerlain Meteorites Voyage Powder (Midnight Diamond), long sold out, not available anywhere (maybe eBay, but I haven’t come across one in months and I’ve already missed out on it twice). 🙁

i would pretty much buy all eyeshadows by MAC and pigments. Then I would give away the rest to my family.

I’d polish up my skincare regimen, get backups of my favorite colors, get a few different foundations and finishes, and stock up on BRIGHT pigments from MUFE, Illamasqua, etc. I’d also buy a BUNCH of palettes and reorganize it all.
I’d buy a Clarisonic, an airbrush system, finish my mac brush collection, and with whats left nars eyeshadows 😀
I would buy the entire collection of MUFE Aqua Eyes cream liners! Throw in several of their shadows and empty palettes, also. Then I’d buy all the Mac brushes and backups of my favorite lipsticks. Next I’d buy all of Chanel’s skincare. Last, I’d buy perfume: Flowerbomb, Coco Mademoiselle, The Beat by Burberry, and Stella by Stella McCartney!
i would get as much nars, mac, opi, china glaze, essie, urban decay, and too faced stuff as i could. considering i dont hae any money i don’t have any of that. ooh, also some mac or eco tools or body shop brushes. i have literally no brushes because i don’t know which would be best in terms of quality, ease of use (im a makeup newbie) and environmental impact. ahah in other words i would completely replace my makeup stock since all i have is a couple covergirl e/s that i don’t like and mascara.

First off, I would get a Clarisonic. I’ve been dying to try it! Then, I’d get some Chanel goodies and a bunch of Essie nail polishes (I love the upcoming collection that’ll be out in May!). I’d also head to MAC with the extra money. I’d buy some eyeliners. I love their formula. Maybe a few lipsticks as well.
Hmm…I think I´d try some really high end perfumes..as well as a few BPAL perfume oils.
I´d also order from different etailers I´ve been eyeing for some time..ans I´s definitely buy a few of the Pearlglide liners from MAC. I don´t use eyeliner often, so I can´t really spend much money on them in good conscience. :o)

I would get a bunch of Shu Uemura before it’s gone, and spend the rest on Jill Stuart and Chanel… and a nicer, bigger vanity table. =)

I have only owned 1 Chanel item, so I would get some of their beautiful blushes, polishes and lipsticks! I love to get the Guerlain Rose Broderie lipstick you reviewed, Hourglass primer, and Cle De Peau and Chantecaille lipsticks. Misc. NARS, Shiseido, and 2 Fresh Sugar Blossom perfumes!
I would still stock up on MAC and Lancome, but would have to spend the rest on my mother in law, my beauty shopping buddy 🙂

I would try all the brands I normally can’t afford. Cle de peau for example and then I’d go to a place like barneys and try all those unique excluseive brands. With the leftovers I’d buy buttloads of pigment from mac pro.

um I would spend 500 in sephora/ macys/nordies on some makeup forever , nars sheer glow foundation, more urban decay, chanel lipglosses, bobbi brown . Then I would hit up walmart or walgreens and spend the other half on my drugstore favorites
I’d finally cave and go on a Shu Uemura spree. Every time I’m about to now, I think, “I could almost buy two MAC shadows for the price of one of theirs” and I back button from the checkout page. I’d probably buy some of their brushes, too.
I’d try some High-end stuff! like Cle De Peau, Giorgio Armani, Chanel, Dior, Guerlain ballz, and more expensive skincare too!

I would buy the Guerlain perfumes I’ve been lusting after and could never justify buying, a bunch of MAC brushes, a ton of MAC eyeshadow and some pallets to store them, some Cle de Peau concealer, a bunch of Chanel Glossimers, the list goes on.
I would buy some high end stuff that looks FABU but is usually WAY out of my price range. For example, a clarisonic, Chanel lipsticks, eye shadows and Pro Lumiere foundation, YSL lipsticks, a great hair dryer and a flat iron.

I think I’d just buy up the rest of MAC’s perm eyeshadow line that I do not already have, and all the pigments just so I could line them all up and stare at the prettiness 🙂
I think I’d buy some more Glossimers, I love them so, and some other products by Guerlain. Maybe more bottles of Rose the One, Chloe & Gucci’s Flora. oh and MAC shadows & some blushes of course!

I would get a few Dior glosses, aqua coloured dior shadow cream pot, lise watier teal and pale blue eyeshadows, lancome eyelash base and hypnose drama mascara, lise watier lip stains, smashbox halo and photofinish primer!

First, I’d get my mom something from Creme de la Mer has a thank you for helping to fulfill my makeup addiction whenever she travels and stops by the Mac at the duty free, NO TAX!! YAY!!
Then I’d probably get myself some limited edition things from the past that are now selling for quite a lot.
Whatever I had left would be to pitch in towards a custom vanity set up. I was looking into having a carpenter build a custom vanity.
First I would hunt down 2 jars of MAC All Girl pigment and 2 MAC Comet Blue Dazzleglasses…maybe more than 2. I would also get every pretty colored Shadestick and Paint Pot I could find, every Dazzleglass I don’t have yet, a bunch of pigments, Fafi Eyes 2 quad, Graphic Garden palette…ahh, so much pretty stuff.
I would get some organic skincare and buy all the MAC eyeshadows and lipsticks I only dream of getting.
I would buy a Clarisonic first, and then some Urban Decay shadows and liners, then I would spend the rest on MAC collections through the rest of the year!
I would probably spend about 2-3 hundred at LUSH. I would also try to find my perfect tinted moisturizer and get the really BIG bottles of my beloved Philosophy skincare. And I’d probably spring for a rouge volupte in a really natural color so I could wear it all the time!
actually it would be hard to decide… don’t know if I would buy few expensive products or buy tons of regular… Would be great though!!!!
Chanel & Dior for sure. Buy every MAC eyeshaddow I don’t already have that I like 🙂 I’d love to have a makeover and be able to buy the works without sweating the price.
I would buy all those eyeshadows I’ve always wanted but am too broke to afford, 15 pan palettes, everything from Art Supplies, I’ll get all those MAC lipsticks that everyone seems to have but I can’t buy… And oh, I’ll go and grab more Chanel’s Coco Rouge lipsticks and maybe finally be able to buy Jill Stuart makeup and try those Cle De Peau lipsticks you’ve been talking about… Oh oh oh, and I’ll get some of the nicer pigments from MAC like Rose and… Maybe I’ll buy a full jar of Softwash Grey!
And if I still have enough, I’ll get Urban Decay’s Sin eyeshadow, primer potion in sin and… Their lipsticks in Naked and Hotpants. -grinning-
And finally, I’ll scrape together whatever’s left of the damage and save it for my next makeup trip. 🙂
Spree! I’d start at the MAC counter and buy all the eyeshadows and lipsticks that I have been coveting, throw in some lip pencils, and get some powders and brushes. Then off to the perfume counter for the Lolitta Lempicka Si Lolitta collection. I’d hit the Chanel counter for some nail enamels. I’d spend the rest at Sephora.
A lot of Chanel, Dior, Guerlain, and Mac lippies, eyeshadow, blush, and brushes. 🙂

Everything imaginable that I don’t own at MAC (especially permanent eyeshadow I don’t already own), trying some Chanel Stuff, some Sheisedo stuff, and maybe a few items from Nars. Oh! And Bliss! Don’t know if it’d really spread that far, but for dreaming, let’s pretend it would! =)

I would stock up on skin care and with the rest I would buy 2 perfumes and eyeshadows!! 🙂 Sounds lovely. I could sure use that.
I think I’ll get all the MAC brushes that I’m missing… and I’ll also get the Balenciaga perfume… And use the rest of the money for philosophy skincare products… I don’t think $1000 is enough… lol

I would spend it on Rx skincare, higher-end skincare (mostly exfoliants and anti-inflammatories) and skincare gadgets! I really want to try Lumixyl but I can’t afford a derm visit or the cost of the Rx at this time. Somebody pleeeeease review Lumixyl. There aren’t enough user reviews on the Internet yet. Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation is (almost) worse than the active acne inflammation!
I wouldn’t splurge. I would spend 600 at MAC and 400 at Sephora and get so much more than buying one expensive cream.
I will buy three sets of Sigma Brushes!!!.. H mm stock up on some Mac limited collection goodies!! On a trip to the spa here in town to have a mircoderm. Love sandals buy a few more hehe… With the rest just buy some stuff for my bedroom lol!!

I would buy lots and lots of staples. I am going off to college soon, and I need to get my spendy ways out of my system. I would buy MAC, lots and lots of it. I would also try out Guerlain.Their lippies look absolutely divine!

I would buy a couple Chanel lipsticks but give the rest to my mother. She likes some of the high end brands but she buys most of her cosmetics at Target. She can afford to buy the high end stuff but she feels guilty I think if she purchased. I buy her some of it and she is always happy and uses all of it. So I would take her out to Nordstrom and see what she picks out 🙂
i think i would go straight to the mac store and buy all the perm e/s pans that i dont hafe( since i tend to neglect picking them up, nad only buy out of the LE collections , which have been coming out like every 2 weeks) =). then i would get all the perm blushes, paintpots, popular lipsticks, pearlglide liners, pigments since i onlu have 4) , then i would buy some stuff from the past LE collections that they still have their (i have made lists…. actually i think this is what i would do first =).
then with what is leftover i would go to sephora and buy loads and loads of the philosophy skincare items.
gosh …. this post is getting me all excited and thinking that i have this money in my acct and have bought the lottery, and can go and do all this fun stuff tomorrow. =)
I’d probably save most of it until there was a sale like the Sephora 15% off going on right now. Then I think I’d try the airbrush foundation, stock up on my staple products then go crazy on lipglosses with whats left.

An airbrush system and a Clarisonic for sure. I’ve also been eyeing the RevaleSkin line, which is a tiny bit pricey (but I’ve heard nothing but good things!) I have a feeling I’ll break on a few of these before I win $1000, but still…
I have basically all of MAC stuff, so I will put aside $300 for the perm stuff and upcoming collections. $500 for upcoming Dior stuff and $200 for MUFE stuff 🙂 Thanks for the fun Christine!
I wouldn’t go crazy with that spree, 🙂 however I think I’ll end up buying all the skincare routine products by Sensai Kanebo… it made my skin gorgeous in just a week and I adore it!

I’d seriously splurge on a facial package! (never ever had a facial) and probably get the 100% pure tinted moisturizer spf20, bronzer, blush and mascara. Then, if I had some excess, I would try a new cleanser, and stock up on rosehip oil and rosa damascena water!
I wouldn’t get too crazy, some Métier de Beauté and Clé de beau lipgloss, Nars and Guerlain eye shadow, Benefit lipsticks, I’ll finally try Dioshow and probaby a ton of MAC stuff!

I would buy a lot of make-up palettes! From NYX, Coastal Scents, Nars, you name it, I’ll buy it. I have a big thing for palets, reminds me of my childhood.
And I would stock up on some skincare prods from Clinique.
And a Chanel lipgloss. Bobby brown?
And a few high end bath prods. And perfume(s) from Dior… And of course I’d spoil my mom too.
Oh, what a joy this would be! I would get two medium jars of LaMer Moisturizing Cream, some La Prairie Cellular eye cream and if there was any money left, I’d get one of the new Chanel summer lippies, and spend the rest on Bobbi Brown cream eye shadows. Sheesh, it certainly doesn’t go very far does it?
I’d find a top-flight makeup artist who is also very good at teaching, and tell him/her to develop a few looks for me and teach me how to do them myself! And, if there were any money left, buy a Clarisonic.
I would probably be in shock that I good buy that much makeup…I would go right to MAC and get anything and everything I could get with $1000.
I think id take me my mom and my daughter all out for makeovers! My daughters only 3 so i doubt theyd actually do it there but id do her for her while we were there she loves it. And buy my mom some highend stuff bc she never does anything nice for herself!
First stop MAC! I have a $400 wish list going already, and that’s with “practical purchases.” Second stop Sephora! With a Clarisonic and Chanel Chance eau Tendre, that doesn’t leave much moolah left for the Urban Decay, Nars, and Benefit must-haves left on my wish list. Oh, you tease me so….

I would try Chanel Dragon, a few YSL Rouge Volupte l/s, set aside some for MAC’s le collections, and spend the rest on their permanent line!
Lots of MAC, NARS, Makeup Forever. A new vanity, a nail polish rack and lots of other beautystuff.
I want the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, a bunch of brushes, Illamasque nail polishes, eyebrow wax and the rest at MAC Pro.
I already have a Clarisonic but I want to try their new moisturizer thing which is like $250. Then I’d get all the perfumes I’ve been wanting, mostly Jean Paul Gaultier. I think I’d have like $500 left and I’d blow that on MUFE, mostly eye shadows.
I would stock up on Shu Uemura’s eyelash curlers, both regular and mini. And then, buy the Balenciaga perfume. And then, still be thrifty with the money. Just buy what I need.

I would first get a clairsonic! Then I would get me some Kate Somerville face exfoliator and a YSL exfoliator too! Buy a bunch of YSL’s Golden Glosses, MAC Lipsticks, and if I have any money left over I would have to look around and see what other make up items I want.
I would try Creme dela Mer products!
I would buy all of the items that I’ve been seeing that I have on a list in my journal plus, some things that I use as a stable just to stock up.
I would get a bunch more mac brushes, a ton of Makeup forever eyeshadows and the MUFE flash palette
Buy myself a lot of really good skincare items. Who needs makeup when you’ve got ridiculously beautiful skin?
MAC basics (primer, foundation, powder) nail polish (Nubar, Opi, Essie, MAC, etc.) and Konad plates!

With this, I would HAVE to be practical. When it comes to makeup and skincare, I have to stretch my dollar as far as it will possibly go! And, that is a bit difficult since I ADORE all the most expensive brands! LOL! Hopefully, I would be able to wait for the MAC 40% off sale and go berserk! Well, if they will EVER have another one of those sales again, that is!
I would get 2 mac eyeshadow palettes. I would get a few kat von d palettes. Mac studio sculpt foundation AND concealer. Some nars blushes. Some nars multiples. NARS and MAC lip glosses. Some mac eye brushes. Urban decay eyeliners . Urban decay eyeshadows. yeah i dont know.
