The green and pearl look gorgeous! I’ve been loving Bobbi lately, I’m excited for this collection!
GORGEOUS! Christine, have you tried the metallic creme shadows before? How are they? Do they crease? Are thye like Benefit creme shadows or maybe MAC paint pots?
More similar to Benefit Cream Shadows 🙂 They wear well on me – no creasing or budging.
Awesome!! They are so pretty, and I LOVE me some creme eyeshadows for a quick and easy run out of the door!
The green and pink metallic cream shadows look gorgeous!
Christine, do you know how BB Cream Shadows compare to MAC paint pots in texture and creasability/ staying power?
Hey Chester,
In my experience, they last just as long on my lids, but they have a very thin and creamy texture/feel compared to Paint Pots.
Thanks! I will take a look at them then.
The cream shadows look gorg! I have been on a Bobbi Brown kick lately. May have to pick those shadows up….my poor wallet:)
Pretty! I’ve always wanted to try a Shimmerbrick.
That shimmerbrick is MINE!!! I don’t care about anything else, LOL.
The shimmer brick looks just like the Nude one from last year. The cream shadows look very pretty though.
Christine or anyone else,
how are the shimmerbricks? I’ve never tried them because they look too….shimmery?
but they look gorgeous anyways
They’re nice – sometimes I do find they’re too frosty, but there are some that are great (loveddd Nectar!).
that shimmer brick looks lovely, but pretty similar to if not identical to some shimmer bricks that have already come out
This collection doesn’t interest me much. Good for the wallet!
Yay, new cream shadows! I love Bobbi’s products, they rarely fail me.
Cool
Nicee stuff
cream shadows are great!
I like Surf & Opal and Oooooo that Shimmerbrick – I don’t own any BB – this might be a good first 🙂
these cream shadows save a step – they also serve as a base. I like them better than Mac Paint Pots. Shore will definitely be MINE!!!
is the new shimmerbrick similar to pink quartz or nude shimmerbricks from previous release?
I haven’t seen it, so I have no idea.
Hi, I have the Pink Quartz and Nude Shimmerbricks. From the picture, the darker strips look very similar to the Nude but the strip at the top looks Peachy to me making it different from Pink Quartz which I consider “Pink/Bronze.” This new one seems to be inbetween both. HTH!
Thanks! i think i have to swatch it in person to know the difference 🙂 can’t wait!!
Again nude tones and too light coloured eyeshadows… I still can’t understand why Bobbi Brown firmly believe we only use neutrals…
Vale
Well, her motto is that she makes shades that all women can wear? Some women- working or older women- don’t feel like they can pull off brights or very vivid shades or don’t find that those colors are appropriate for the environment they’re working in.
Thus, she makes neutrals, because those are shades that many women find they can wear, no matter the place or time.
It’s just a matter of having different targeted clients, that’s all. 🙂
Beautiful
creamy… this hot… no way!!! color are gorgeous, but not creamy shadows for me
Wow!! I looove the eyeshadows, especially the green! I have a couple of shimmer bricks but I don’t find them different enough to buy every single one, although I would get this one if it is more gold than bronze!
The pink looks just divine. I wonder how similar it is with the reg gel liners…I have the black and I’m so disappointed. It smears everywhere for me.
This is going to be an awesome addition to bobbi’s cream shadow collection. I can already tell moonstone and shore are going to be my faves!
xoxo from bobbi brown counter in greensboro, nc!
Just nosing around at old collection photos earlier and this shimmerbrick is the same as the LE sandstone one from the holiday 2009 collection… and very lovely too. I wonder if that means we’ll see the plum one resurface too though…
I was recently given moonstone (I had a photoshoot with BB for prom looks, so they gave it to me early to try), and I love this product (and shade). No creasing or sliding around, and v. vibrant colours that bring out your powders shadow (if you layer some on).
Love it! (:
i love BB’s quality and nice texture but this is boring….
Was at Saks a couple of days ago, and saw these in person. They are absolutely gorgeous, especially the green.
What a beautiful array of cream shadow shades! Even more lovely in the sand with starfish.
My wallet did a sigh of relief…
I tried some of the cream shadows (oyster pink, moonstone, surf, shore) and hated them. It was like someone hit me in the eyelids with a glitter bat. No color payoff and a ton of fallout. I don’t normally write about makeup on my blog, but I couldn’t help myself after I tried this collection. I’m really disappointed in BB this time around, and I usually love her stuff.
