Haul: Nada! But I shopping after class today with the VIB Rouge code.

Weekend plans: Coding…. and prepping images/blurbs for my first from scratch website.

What’s your favorite part about November?: Not much, no holidays and no fall leaves a anymore. lol But it’s still nice weather and we have delayed snow this year up here in Ontario.

The Makeup Train Avatar

Haul: Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer in Big Bang, Disney Villains Evil Queen blush, Maybelline Blushed Nudes eyeshadow palette.

Weekend plans: The kitchen needs to be majorly cleaned out. I also want to take some photos for the blog if the sun comes out.

Favorite part about November: Pumpkin baked goods. I try to get as creative as I can. 🙂

Annaham Avatar

Haul: Bite Beauty Best Bite Rewind set; Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Kir Royal; UD Revolution Lip Gloss Travel Duo; a couple of limited edition Halloween scents from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab.

Weekend plans: I have a massive head cold, so probably not much. I do need to bathe my dog (one very spoiled Yorkie) because he STINKS.

Favorite part about November: Sweater weather for humans *and* dogs!

Alix Avatar

Haul: Dr. Perricone No Lipgloss Lipgloss, No Blush Blush. Thinking about another W3ll People Nudist Lipbalm (they’re awesome, and you can order them from Target!). Planning my Sephora 20% off haul…
Weekend plans: Nothing in particular.
What’s your favorite part about November?: Colder weather, more vacation days!

Alix Avatar

Armani Ecstasy Lacquer, Josie Maran Argan Balm, a Stella rollerball, and backups of Lavanila deodorant. And maybe the NARS/Steven Klein gloss in Fast Life — love the color, not so sure about the brush applicator.

Michele @Binxcat4ever Avatar

Poor Mellan! “I’m not much of a thrilled puppy about this costume!”

Haul:
Saks: Guerlain Rouge G Collector (867 Merveilleux Rose). I was so lucky to find this at a Saks store in Beachwood, OH! (No, I don’t live in OH.) It was pretty much sold out everywhere else. Supposed to be delivered today.

Ulta (20% off – Platinum mailer so all brands were discounted): Laura Geller Balance n Brighten (Fair), Laura Geller Matte Maker, Laura Geller Baked Blush (Catalina), Laura Geller Baked Liquid Radiance Foundation (Fair), Alterna Caviar 3 Minute Shine, Ulta foundation sponges, Fromm styling comb x2 (These combs do a better job of grooming my cats than pet brushes! They’re much cheaper too), IT foundation brushes x2, Black Opium Travel Spray, Hask Monoi Coconut Oil shampoo and conditioner, 15 free samples. I recently tried the Geller foundations. Happy so far as the coverage is perfect (natural skin look with the powder and buildable with the baked liquid) and they don’t oxidize on me. I actually swapped out my Armani ones for them.

Sephora (Rouge 20% off): Kate Somerville Hydraclear Hydrating Acne Gel, NARS Audacious lipstick (Charlotte), Dior Huile Abricot Daily Nutritive Serum. Bought most things I wanted elsewhere so didn’t have a big Sephora order for this year’s discount. I may go back before it’s over though…

Walgreens: Cover Girl x Star Wars lipstick (Buy one get one 50% off; Nude x2), miscellaneous personal care items. I now have the complete Cover Girl x Star Wars set. I think Nude is the best of the 6 lipsticks. Closely followed by red, lilac, and purple. Not really thrilled with the gold or silver. But really surprised as how nice the other 4 lipsticks are – haven’t purchased anything Cover Girl in decades!

Beauty.com (20% off): Paula’s Choice RESIST Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator, NARS Audacious lipstick (Liv)

Laura Geller (30% off with Code NOV30): Blush n Brighten (Pink Buttercream), Highlighter Duo with Brush (French Vanilla/Portofino), Real Deal Concealer (Fair), Baked Balance n Brighten (Fair), Deluxe sample Spackle (Champagne)

Weekend plans: I need to return curtains I ordered from Target; the warehouse sent the wrong size. Then it’s back to working on my daughter’s house.

What’s your favorite part about November?: OMG I love November! I’m a cool weather person so I love the Fall anyway. My daughter was born on Thanksgiving day so whether her birthday falls out on that day or not, since I cook Thanksgiving dinner for the family, we do a big celebration for both Thanksgiving and her birthday. I also love the changing of the leaves and since I also love back road driving, it’s a wonderful time for scenic drives!

Michele @Binxcat4ever Avatar

Received Rouge G at about 10 a.m. Wow, it really has some weight to it! I think it would also have to be the order I was most excited to get. Unlike most cosmetics, where I unbox everything and then stash it away in my lipstick holders or other organizers (by shade of course!), I actually tried the Rouge G first. My lips are pretty pigmented so often products don’t show up very well on me. Bite Beauty’s Pepper looks like a refined version of my lips, NARS Dolce Vita adds just a bit of a pink-mauve tone, Trish McEvoy Florence is a more sheer dupe of Dulce Vuta on me, whereas Rouge G is a sheer rose-pink with sheen on me. I tried it with no other makeup on and it really lit up my face. I think it’s going to make a nice refined understated lip – unlike NARS Charlotte and Liv (arriving tomorrow) which are more of a statement lip look.

Kiss & Make-up Avatar

Awwwww, Ioooooor! (or however you write it in English) Cutest costume ever. Somehow Mellan doesn’t look too pleased with his costume though, hahaha 🙂

Haul: MAC Shaft of Gold!

Weekend plans: After I hit ‘post comment’ on this article my man and I are off for a weekend trip!

What’s your favorite part about November?: Usually my husband’s parents visit in November, so that’s always something to look forward to. In three weeks they’ll be here again for a long weekend.

Tammy B Avatar

Haul: Zoeva complete eye shadow brush set, 102 silk finish brush, 106 powder brush, and the Cocoa Blend eye shadow palette.

Weekend plans: Get caught up on sleep!

Favorite part about November: Watching the leaves change and the wild mix of weather. I love the almost neon leaves on a rainy day!

Tessa Avatar

That Mellan picture is too cute. I still regret letting myself be talked out of a lobster costume for my lab – rottie mix!

Last night, I took my first steps on my left foot since August! I’m almost deliriously happy. (Hear that, broken bone? And don’t come back!) Maybe in another week, I’ll be able to make it from one end of the house to the other! Whee!

VIB Rouge sale time! Still undecided about what exactly to get… as much as I love Algenist, is it reeeeally worth the price? But those samples do remarkable, unprecedented things for my skin… decisions.

Katherine T. Avatar

Awww, poor Mellan LOL I don’t even know how you got him into that costume! Too bad he doesn’t like it, such a cute costume
**Haul –Becca Mineral Blush in Damselfly and Gypsy (Gypsy is gorgeous, so sad they are discontinuing it). Colour Pop Shadows in Doe A Deer & Effect ( some purple and teal mattes to go with my UD Spectrum palette), Colour Pop Forever Freshman Shadow set @ 20% off (great colors, and they need to make Baby T permanent!!) Oh, and my jaws dropped when I checked my Sephora order from last week –they accidentally gave me extra stuff, almost $70 worth. An extra KVD Lolita lipstick, extra Bobbi Brown Shadow Stick in Vanilla, and an ABH Brow Pencil, which I didn’t even order. I was debating whether to return them, but realized even if I did, they would probably have to toss it, so I’m keeping. Wonder what will happen when I put in my order for the VIB Rouge sale? Maybe they’ll throw in a Rouge G 😉
*Weekend — party/potluck with friends
*November– pumpkin pie with whipped cream and cinnamon spice

Katherine T. Avatar

Yes, UD Spectrum needs colorful mattes! I had high hopes for the MUG mattes but those were dashed. I’ve only swatched the 2 CP ones on my hands, but they seem pretty good, think they will be fine with primer, but will test soon. BTW, stay away from the pastel mattes from CP – I bought 3 of them and they were kind of dry and chalky, even with primer. Otherwise, every CP shadow I’ve tried has been great.

Nicole Avatar

Must have been your lucky day Katherine! I have had Sephora give me a pack of 10 Sephora brand eye masks when I ordered one. It was a nice surprise. 🙂
Question about the MJB serum foundation: I went to get a sample today while I was shopping (couldn’t get there sooner). The SA asked me what my skin type was and I told him “mostly dry in fall/winter”. So, he says” You won’t like it. It cracks.” So, while I was trying to wrap my head around that, he walked away. Of course, it was crazy busy as the sale was on, so I kinda understood his haste. But, do you feel it’s not good for dryish skin? I already ordered the Armani Luminous Silk. I love it. But, my curiosity has me on this one now. I don’t have any “full-coverage” options because they cake. But, the customer reviews are promising.

Katherine T. Avatar

I know, felt like I won the jackpot! The MJB one is full coverage, and the finish is soft matte, and I can see it being unforgiving if your skin is really dry. My skin is normal/combo during summer, and it’s much easier to wear the MJ one when the weather is warm. During fall/winter, my skin is normal/dry. So far, I’ve had good luck with it by using a moisturizing sunscreen underneath (Supergoop City Serum or FAB 5-in-1 cream), using only 1-2 drops, going light on the powder, and spritzing a hydrating mist on to set it or refresh it (MAC Prep & Prime or Josie Hydrating Mist). I like the full finish enough to go thru the fuss. If you apply too much, it can look un-natural (like a mannequin) but so far, I haven’t seen any cracking. But I know your skin is super dry, so maybe stick with the Armani Luminous Silk if it’s working for you. Or get a sample of the MJB and see if you like -make sure they shake the bottle first.

Nicole Avatar

Thanks Katherine. Yeah. I will get a sample first. I can build the Armani up or sheer it down and I like that. But, like I said my curiosity has me on this. I’m not crazy about that SA. I think he matched me wrong for some concealer too. So, looks like I’m heading back soon anyway. May as well get a sample. Oh, just wanted to let you know-after all my research on hair dryers, I decided my Rusk is pretty good after all and I went for a nice curler instead. Maybe, I will actually style my hair instead of wearing a pony tail most days! 🙂 One day, I will upgrade the hair dryer. Thanks for your help!

Katherine T. Avatar

No problem Nicole! Let me know how the MJ works for you, and hey, if you don’t have to shell out $200 for a new dryer, more money for more makeup 🙂

Shea Avatar

Haul: Nothing recently, but I am going to pick up Tran Bleu this weekend!
Plans: Homework, homework, more homework, and hopefully a lunch date with my S.O
November: I love fall leaves and fall sweaters 😀

MissJae1908 Avatar

Haul: A plethora of sheet masks. I’m obsessed! Ladies, what are your favorite sheet masks!? #Obsessed
Weekend plans: My sorority sister’s birthday celebration in Atlantic City, NJ. #TurnUp
What’s your favorite part about November?: Thanksgiving and the fact that it’s officially ok to blast my Christmas Music to the highest decibel without getting major side eye. #DontJudgeMe

MissJae1908 Avatar

1. Sephora Honey and Pearl masks
2. Orgaid Organic Sheet Masks (My faves)
3. Any of the masks from Tony Moly
4. Leaders What Happened Last Night Revitalizing Mask
5, Miss Spa Brightening Facial Mask

I could go on and on. Lol…Do you have any faves?

Claire L Avatar

I had a sheet mask from When (the Travelmate) in my Birchbox UK last month and it was awesome, even my fiancé connected that I looked different – in a good way! I’m 38 and it made my forehead lines look much less visible and my complexion was much brighter and more even. I was well impressed! I’ll have to get some more, meanwhile I’m using up my WEI Gingko sheet masks which are good but not quite as good as the When mask and more expensive (though I got those in the Birchbox UK sale for £25 which was a bargain!)

KJH Avatar

Who knew the little darlin’ could look so baleful! Mine met his first baby last night. Stood on his hind legs and craned the view. (Dachshund.). Then hid his head with one eye showing $ open, to watch her mire subtly.
Done with Sephora…and there were issues. I had a preloaded basket, but it balked at adding individual MUFE shadows. Eventually I gave up, and when I got back to the preloaded cart, just pulled the plug. Lots of spinning & not loading the page…. And later in the AM could not get on at all. No great loss. The store would be too insane & could not check for in stock. Not that that would have much validity….To think it was that goofy 30 min after the site opened in my time zone, I think… I imagine others will have probs; they do not have the computer adequacy to handle what they expect is their volume. IDT they GAS.

Michele @Binxcat4ever Avatar

Wow, so sorry about your site issues! I had my cart pre-loaded and placed my order at 6 a.m. EST. No issues at all, In fact, I just got a shipment email! Personally, I have other issues with Sephora. They continue to charge too much tax for my State. The State Attorney General’s Office has gotten involved and the Supervisor of the State Tax Department has sent them a formal letter demanding they comply with State law. Sephora has me tracking the tax overages they charge me and submitting for refunds….

Claire L Avatar

Aww, poor dog! You cruel owner ? lol. Our late golden retriever would look away if we laughed at her, she hated it! The next GR loved it though, she’d ‘laugh’ with us. Funny how dogs are different!

Momo Avatar

● Haul:
◈MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in METAL ROCK
❝The second most difficult item on my ‘Epic Makeup’ list has finally been found! My makeup heart is happy. I can’t say much for my pockets, though. Lol❞
◈AJ Crimson Match Me Perfect [Foundation] Sample Kit

● Weekend plans:
◈ Week 2: Mouse 1 – Momo 0. Catching this mouse is more difficult than I’d thought. Ugh! Where is the Pied Piper when a girl needs him!?

● What’s your favorite part about November?:
◈ Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Sales! Sales! Sales! I’m someone who doesn’t like going outside for the Black Friday bargains. It’s too early in the morning, it’s too cold, and people get too crazy. I’ve only gone out twice, but NEVER AGAIN! Thank goodness for internet!

Nancy T Avatar

I’m sorry! Losing a furbaby is one of the worst things ever! I’ve lost several over the years, and it hurt badly. My 2 female cats are wonderful mousers, as I found out when we were living in a horrible apt. in Phoenix….I saw one seek and destroy mice!

Momo Avatar

It’s so sad losing a pet. We love them like family. This is my very first time having a rodent in my home, EVER. When my kitty had been here, the only thing she ever caught were moths and beetles. I think she had big dreams of hunting something larger. She always stalked the sparrows that perched on my fire escape. Lol

Kimberly Avatar

Haul: Mostly fashion items this week… Snagged 2 t-shirt dresses and a choker from F21. Cosmetics-wise, once I get my Ettusais BB mineral cream this weekend, I’m on a no-buy till Christmas. Let’s hope my self-discipline holds out!
Weekend plans: Running a work errand and then shopping with my mum
What’s your favorite part about November?: End of the semester! Just gotta get through a couple of projects, papers and a final first ):

Nicole Avatar

Aww, cute! My dog was a taco! lol!
Haul: Anastasia Self-made palette, Bobbi Brown Naked Plum lip gloss, Nyx Wicked lippie, MAC Pro longwear lip liners in Oh Honey and Rebellious, The Bite Nov. Lipstick should be arriving today I think, Nars Madly blush, MAC mineralize blush in Love Thing, MAC Fast Play, Crème D’Nude lipstick, and Big Baby gloss. I also got Charlotte Tilbury’s brow pencil in Brooke S. But, I’m not sure if it’s a keeper or not. I still think UD brow beater is winning for me.
Weekend Plans: Hopefully get to the Sephora sale tonight. I have to get a couple of things in store because they sold our online! Other than that, the usual chores and hopefully some needed rest.
Favorite part about November: I think it’s the leaves. We have some nice foliage here in Ohio.

Nicole Avatar

Oh, I gotta add the Colourpop Blitzed Holiday shadow set that just came and I got my first gel liners form them too. I got “No Shame” in pencil and gel pot. I’m pretty excited to try the liners! It’s funny because I pre-saled Nars and I know the “No Shame” name is being used quite a bit for some reason, lol.

geauxgirl Avatar

I bought Philosophy’s Christmas Cookie and Vanilla Birthday cake shower gels; at Sephora (before sale) I got Becca eye brightener concealer, UD Ozone Primer, Philosophy Fresh Cream shower gel, Fall fragrance sample bag; Paula’s Choice Moisture Treatment cream, Skin Recovery Moisturize w/SPF, Hylauronic Acid booster, Resist 2% BHA Skin Brightener. Next week I will shop the Sephora VIB sale. Y’all please leave me something to buy! ??

xamyx Avatar

Haul: Real Techniques Eyelining Set, NYX Matte Lipstick in Alabama (I *finally* found it in-stock, and have never swatched it, but took a chance-it is GORGEOUS!), and Salma Hayek Nuance Sheer Liquid Veil SPF 50-it is amazing, and beautiful under foundation.

I also managed to pick up the 2 main items on my daughter’s Christmas list-Barbie Ultimate Dream House & Pop-up Camper-for under $200! This leaves extra cash for *me*, LOL, plus I won’t be running around like a mad woman later on trying to track them down (especially the house). Target has 20% off most toys, PLUS a coupon/code for an additional 25% off most toys, so I essentially only paid for the house!

Plans: We’re going to catch the new Peanuts movie, but since it doesn’t start playing until 7pm, that leaves a bit of time to hit MAC…

November: Well, this year, I was sooo happy to see Halloween end, LOL! My daughter’s school canceled Halloween at the last minute (apparently, the faculty was too lazy to put something together…), so we ended up finding some other things to do, and found too many. One thing was in a local park, and the neighborhood across the street had Trick-or-Treating, so she was able to have that experience (we typically go to the mall, which we did Friday).

Aside from the aforementioned, it finally gets cold in SoCal! I hate the heat, plus I can’t wear some of my favorite clothes, makeup, shoes, etc…

Tova J Avatar

Haul: Nothing! I have some online orders on the way though.
Weekend plans: Dancing, studying, grocery shopping.
What’s your favorite part about November?: I think Swedish November is just a dark sad month haha. There’s no holidays, no nice weather, no nothing! I’m just waiting for December and christmas feelings!

Alice Avatar

Haul: No makeup this week.

Weekend plans: fall lawn prep. Our village doesn’t allow you to not rake your leaves (even though it’s better for your lawn not to!) so we’re going to mulch them along with the dead flower stalks and bush trimmings from the garden, and just coat the lawn with mulch to protect it. I also need to wrap a few of the bushes in burlap and clean out/reline the bat boxes.

Fav thing about November: cooler weather and Thanksgiving! We don’t get to go to a family event this year, so we’re hosting some friends who also won’t be seeing their families.

geauxgirl Avatar

I forgot: my favorite thing(s) about November: cooler weather, football, Thanksgiving. This year our niece is getting married, so a wedding/Thanksgiving celebration.

Samantha Avatar

Mellan is so cute with his little grumpy Eeyore face. Precious. I am also really digging that floor!

Haul: I made my VIB Rouge purchase this morning. I was so excited I got everything I wanted (it might have helped that I woke up in the middle of the night with a nightmare and I checked out then-silver lining, you know). I purchased:
Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Essentials Set
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Vampira
Kat Von D Lolita Lip Duo Lolita/ Lolita II
Formula X The Colors Dark Matter
Deborah Lippmann Wicked Set

Weekend plans: A local arts and crafts festival (think an outdoor Etsy with hot cider).

What’s your favorite part about November?: Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales!

Rachel R. Avatar

Haul: Betsey Johnson black cat cosmetic bag; Nyx Suede Creams in Vintage and Pink Lust; Hard Candy Shadow Spheres in Light n Night; e.l.f. Highlighter Palette; Covergirl Star Wars lipsticks in Lilac, Silver (has a pink duochrome; love it!), Gold and Nude; Wet N Wild Fergie Cream Lipstick in D-Vinely Chilled, V.I.Pink, and Penthouse Sweet.

Weekend plans: Catching up on paperwork and housework.

What’s your favorite part about November?: Thanksgiving for me, also.

Mariella Avatar

Haul: In the VIB sale I was pretty restrained – Algenist Anti Aging Oil (awfully price here in the Great White North, so 20% off was nice), Kat von D Shade+Light Eye Contour brush, MUFE Smoothing Primer, UD Jilted Revolution lipstick, Laura Mercier loose translucent powder (I bought it because I couldn’t find my Shiseido loose translucent powder and I’d looked for it for 2 days; wouldn’t you know that almost as soon as I came home with the Laura Mercier, I FOUND the Shiseido???); Sephora #56 foundation brush and then at Bath and Body Works I got a bunch of hand soaps and some candles. I think that’s it but I might have forgotten something in my hysteria
Weekend Plans: take it easy and maybe go to the gym
Favourite thing about November – NOTHING. Once the time changes, it get SO dark SO early and in the morning, I’m driving to school with the sun blinding me (an hour earlier, it’s still fairly dark and much better for driving). Having said all that, it’s been insanely warm here in S. Ontario – I’ve been wearing sandals and capris to school!

Christine Avatar

That’s always how it goes. As soon as you replace the item, lo and behold, THERE IT IS! I have been there a few times.

I am getting used to having NO time change, LOL! I feel ahead and behind simultaneously–it just depends on what we’re talking about.

Mariella Avatar

Oh, I pretty much knew that as soon as I bought a new powder, I’d find the old one. In fact, that was sort of my excuse for buying it! I keep meaning to ask you how the move has gone and if you’re settled in yet. Are you liking your new location? Does it feel like a friendly place to live?

Christine Avatar

I actually feel like people are nicer here than where I used to live (not that people weren’t nice where I used to live, though, but everyone seems nicer and tries to make conversation more often). I am loving it so far – we are super close to everything, which is part of why we chose the area (we were more rural before, not truly rural, but I was 45 minutes from Sephora and now I’m 5 minutes away). We are mostly settled – we have a few things that need to be done, but we’re unpacked, everything’s been put away!

Thank you for asking!

Montréalaise Avatar

Mellan has that “I’m going to get back at you for this” look in his eyes that I’ve only seen in cats! However, he really is cute – as usual.

Anne Avatar

Haul: Nothing, as I spent the week in bed due to some unexpected complications of a medical procedure…

Weekend plans: More lying in bed? Maybe marathoning some TV while doing so

What’s your favorite part about November?: It used to be Thanksgiving, but I’m not near much family at the moment so I will have to find something else.

Claire L Avatar

Haul: Makeup For Ever 15 Artist Palette, Urban Decay Urban Spectrum palette and this month’s Birchbox UK beauty box. Awesome haul!

Plans for weekend: My parents have come down for the weekend, they want to see their granddaughter before Xmas. I’ll go out with my fiancé tomorrow eve for his birthday dinner while they babysit.

My favourite part of Nov: Fireworks Night, starting to get excited for the Xmas season.

Erin Avatar

I’m pretty sure Mellan is plotting your demise.

Haul: I finally got my birthday order from Sephora so I don’t feel the need to haul anything though I’m craving a few odds and ends like dry shampoo.

Weekend Plans: Saying goodbye to our favorite neighbors who are moving back to Germany. It’s going to be hard to say goodbye to them and their kids. Especially because my dog is losing his best friend under 30. Other than that, Saturday night gaming and Sunday grocery shopping as usual!

Favorite thing about November: Silence, stillness, Thanksgiving, and ramping up for Christmas.

Genevieve Avatar

I don’t think Mellon is too happy with the costume – not a smiley face for him.
Haul – skincare items- cleanser and serum
Weekend plans – a quiet one I think – sorting out the toys Olivia (our grand daughter) uses. She is now getting into the duplo tubs. After she leaves we find little toys everywhere – is that Thomas the Tank I see under the kitchen table?
Best part of November – my birthday!

Denise Avatar

Awww, Mellan! Adorables!

Haul: UD Sheer Beso, Sheer Bittersweet, Sephora Holographic lipgloss in Good Fairy and Fuchsia Mermaid…these are really gorgeous!

Weekend plans: Work tomorrow, gym, then visit my mom and have sushi with a good friend 🙂

Favorite part about November: Hmmm. I’d like it better if winter wasn’t next! Ok,
fall leaves, crisp days.

Susan Parker Avatar

Haul: Cinema brush cleaning starter kit, Nars face primer, Nars “Eden” Eyeprimer, Sephora’s 8-pack lipgloss Christmas gift, two Silkisseme eyeliners from L’Oreal, and a very very sparkler metallic gold eyeshadow by Essence. This is likely to be my last haul for a couple of months, given my recent hauls!

Weekend plans: spending time with my two adult kids and their spouses, our four dogs, and my first grand-daughter!

November: I can’t stand it. The only holiday is Remembrance Day which is always very sad. We get about nine hours of daylight…and that will go down to barely six in December. It’s mostly cold, drizzly and miserable weather, etc. I really do not like the month of November! Lol

Erica Avatar

Mellan is officially a teenager. The cute pup who liked dressing in cute costumes is now the surly teenager with a serious side eye glance – priceless!

Weekend plans: celebration weekend. Best friends bday was 11/4 so party time Saturday. Stepdads bday was 11/2 and parents anniversary also 11/4 – family dinner Sunday.

Haul: I hit the Sephora F&F sale twice due to very generous friends. Picked up a few VIB Rouge items today mostly skincare. Beautylish for Bioderma micelle makeup remover. Beauty.com for Nars items: Taos & Gina blushes, Heat loose powder, etc. Ulta 20% for Anastasia Self Made palette: divine. Everything (except Beautylish) via Ebates!

Favorite thing about November: I get 3 paid holidays off in November – Election Day, Veterans Day & Thanksgiving. What could be better than that?

Nancy T Avatar

LOL! I almost bought myself Eeore pj’s tonight at WM! He doesn’t look too thrilled, though ?

Haul: Just facial cleansers, Simple Exfoliating Wipes and Aveeno Positively Ageless Daily Exfoliating Cleanser (it has shitake mushroom complex in it, Idk?)

Weekend plans: After getting nearly 2 weeks out of Zoya Neve, removed it today, put my strengthening products on, will paint them tomorrow? Do hair ordeal tomorrow. Try to go to meeting on Sunday.

What’s your favorite part of November: The infernal AZ heat is gone!!! So now I can wear boots, my leather jacket, and sweaters, and enjoy hot chai, hot cocoa and mocha lattes!

Nancy T Avatar

I love Eeyore too! Even though I already have 2 pairs of Eeyore PJ’s, I came sooo close to getting yet one more pair in fleece!

It has been very chilly here! A few days ago, when it rained, yet again I got caught in it. And this time FROZE!

Cat Avatar

Mellan… “Thanks for noticing me…” LOL My ultimate dream is to find either a taco costume for Paco, our rescued chiweenie (yes, my children used to watch the Cartoon Network), or, better yet, I’d love to find a HUGE antler (made of that super, light-weight material) and strap it to his head like Max, the dog in the Grinch cartoon. I doubt either will actually happen, but I smile when I think of it. =)

Haul: CLINIQUE Black Honey Beauty Set; MUFE concealer and foundation; and a Real Techniques brush that I’m currently too lazy to find out the name of. ;-p
Weekend plans: After another exciting trip to the ER yesterday (my hubby), I’m pretty sure we’re just going to be hanging around the house this weekend.
What’s your favorite part about November?: The day after Thanksgiving! All the food, none of the cooking! 🙂 Also, it has FINALLY cooled off here! YESSSSSS!!

Vanessa Avatar

He’s so mad but so cute! We found a spider costume on clearance at Target for my Chihuahua and her face was just like his!

Haul: Yesterday evening, I went with my mom to my store to take advantage of my extra discount and bought-
Kat Von D Mi Vida Remix Palette (finally!)
Chanel Chance Eau Tendre Perfume 1.2 oz
Sephora Collection Diamond Eyeliner in Iced Out
Sephora Collection Up In Smoke Baked Eyeshadow and Face Palette

With this purchase, I finally became a VIB! With my extra discount only for Nov though, I’ll probably get to VIB Rouge soon as I still have few things on my shopping list!

Weekend Plans: Pack! We’re moving soon and there’s still a lot of things to sort through (donate, keep, toss). How did you pack your makeup Christine? We’re moving within the city, but I want to make sure nothing breaks as it’s been a little chaotic.

What’s Your Favorite Part of November?:
Thanksgiving and the weather finally changes here!
