I didn’t rush into buying this because I already own a full sized Lolita, and honestly, that Lolita II looks like Double Dare, which I also have… I wish I could find swatches comparing Double Dare and Lolita II! Regardless though, I think they’re too similar to need this set.
I actually found that Lolita II is a bit warmer than Double Dare. In fact, paired with Lolita in a sort of ombre lip look yields a pretty gorgeous result. It may not be different enough from Double Dare for me to otherwise take a second look, but now that I have this duo, I’m happy I bought it. Initially I only purchased it because I needed a new Lolita (mine started to get weirdly sheer and oily) and that shade has been out of stock for over a month. Come on KVD!
I must say, I’m a little confused. I got the super dark version aka “bad batch” of Lolita. So is the OG Lolita in this set my version or another different one? I hope someone can help me out, since I’m contemplating buying this set. 🙂
I still don’t have any liquid matte lipsticks, but thses colors — and the fact that they’re minis — seem like a good gamble (assuming this type of lip product works for me).

I like these colors in the package but need to see them in real life. I often don’t like mattress but don’t feel that way about the liquids for some reason.
I picked this having never trying a liquid lipstick ever. Really I bought it for Lolita 2 and in hopes that I’ll like whatever version of Lolita the 1st color decides to be 😉 I’m happy to try 2 colors for the price of one without too much commitment.
A small duo set of Lolita is perfect for me since I don’t have any Lolita version. I bought KvD’s liquid lipstick in LUV over a year ago and I barely use it. Having a small size of her liquid lipsticks is a great idea.
If the original Lolita is so coveted why don’t they make more?
I can’t figure that out, either. That’s what LA Splash did with the original Ghoulish. (Now called OG Ghoulish.) Of course, both were such popular shades for both companies, I can’t figure out why they changed them in the first place.
Ordered them. I always wanted to try these liquid lips but every time I’m at Sephora they only have a few shafes in stock and the colors aren’t ones I can wear.

I think it’s supposed to come out in 2016
LA Girl Matte Pigment Gloss in Fleur and Nars Jane are pretty similar dupes for Lolita 2! I loved Lolita 2 when I tried it on in store. I’d been looking for a dupe for Fleur with a better formula. This.is.it! I’m going to wait for the full sized Lolita 2 to come out though as I don’t like Lolita all that much.
I’m confused it says original Lolita does that mean it’s the original original that’s a lighter pinky colour or the bad batch that was more brown? because the new one is different to those two, there’s three colours of Lolita! (not talking about Lolita 2)
