Go-to fragrance for September? Newly acquired perfume: Nina Ricci L’Extase (I usually only wear Miss Dior or Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet so it is a big deal for me to get another fragrance)
Go-to blush for September? Hourglass Mood Exposure or Charlotte Tilbury Ecstasy
Go-to lip product for September? New Dior Addict Lipsticks in Smile, Bright, True, Dream, Fashion Night or Charlotte Tilbury in Penelope Pink (all depends on what I was doing on the eyes)
I’m just going to pretend the questions say October. 😉
Your skin tone/coloring: very pale, but this time of year I have what passes for a tan — somewhere in between NARS Siberia and Laura Mercier Soft Ivory
Go-to fragrance for October? Hermes — L’Ambre des Merveilles
Go-to blush for October? Clinique Fig Pop if I’m wearing warm tones, Tarte Tipsy if I’m wearing cool/blue tones
Go-to lip product for October? Guerlain Air Kiss, YSL Rose Infinite, NARS Leslie
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/light warm (NC15), hazel eyes, auburn hair with purple undertones.
Go-to fragrance for September? I don’t really wear a lot of perfume, but Bath and Body Works has a body spray and moisturizer in Warm Vanilla Sugar that is pretty much how I want to smell all fall and winter. Warm and sweet and cozy! 🙂
Go-to blush for September? I’ve been wearing NARS Madly literally almost every day this month!
Go-to lip product for September? I have a few I’ve been rotating between a lot this month: MAC Velvet Teddy, MAC Cosmo, ColourPop Tulle, and Kat Von D Double Dare.
My skin tone is light olive. My fragrance of choice this past month has been Bois de Iris from The Different Company (Guerlain’s Champs-Elysées on the warmer days). My blush of choice has been Physicians Formula Blushing Peach which is a multi-colored powder palette. My lipstick of choice is a lip tint by alima pure called Rhubarb. I have been spending the last several weeks on a quiet vacation in a cabin, on a island in the Northwest…..far from the bright city lights…so my “go-to’s” have been understated and quick to apply. Except, of course, for my usual heavy hitter perfumes :).
Your skin tone/coloring: Deep/Dark NW50

Go-to fragrance for September? Warmer days – Trish McEvoy Mandarin Ginger Lily; Cooler days – YSL Black Opium
Go-to blush for September? Wow, tough question as I tailor my blush to my “look”. I seem to reach for UD Bittersweet more often than the rest. Although I just bought Anna Sui rose blush in shade 300 (which I’ll try this weekend) so Bittersweet may be dethroned!
Go-to lip product for September? My new fav is D&G Sophia Loren No. 1. OMG I can’t even describe how much I love this lipstick! It is the perfect every day sheer (yet buildable) cool red. I love all of my lipsticks and glosses though and like with the other products, I pick what I’m wearing depending on the “look”. I did buy the new LE Bite lipstick today so I’m curious to see how it looks on. It might end up being a fav alternate. I am hoping to pick up some new darker shades over the next few months as well.

Go-to fragrance for September? Well, I’ve been using Paco Rabanne Olympéa recently but the one I always go to for Autumn/Winter is Dior Pure Poison. I’m sure it’s not a popular choice and it is strong but I only spray it in my woolly scarves so that when I wear them out on those cold days I find it comforting. It’s also nostalgic since it was my first ever proper perfume and it takes me right back to when I first got it all those years ago. 🙂
Go-to blush for September?
I’m liking warmer blushes at the moment such as Urban Decay Fetish and my old and well loved Prescriptives Illuminator. However, sometimes you can’t beat a fresh pink to make it look like you’ve just come in from the cold. I love MAC Pink Swoon for that kind of look, although they seem to have discontinued it. 🙁
Go-to lip product for September? It has to be lip balm! It’s a must for me 365 days of the year but more so in the colder months. I swear by Rouge Bunny Rouge Kiss Elixir balm. It’s expensive for its tiny size but it is full on amazing. It’s thick and rich and it smells like warm vanilla! It goes on, stays put and gives your lips some serious love. Runner up would be the Rodial Glam Balm, the one in the tub. It’s pretty awesome. It smells of roses, has a lovely thick texture and is wonderfully moisturizing. Those are my favourite lip balms and my lips would be a mess without them due to my medication drying them out. My lips are dry constantly and although the balms I love aren’t cheap I will continue to repurchase them unless I find something cheaper but just as good!
I looooove Pure Poison. Such an underrated fragrance.

September is tough for fragrance. Done with the sea scents & citruses, but not cold enough to break out the warm ambers, chypres, and ‘orientals.’ I gravitate towards Korres Basil/Lemon & Cartier Declaration. Liking my new MACs: Make You Mine ( thanks, C!). and Nose for Style, which is decorated with little fuzzy Yorkies, Dachshunds, and Malamutes. If MAC didn’t do dog packaging, I had to.

Go-to fragrance for September? I wear Chanel Chance and the new Chance Eau Vive pretty frequently (they’re my favorites and I wear them year round), but I also dug out my Guerlain Petite Robe Noire and was wearing that a lot, too.
Go-to blush for September? In September, I wore my new Chantecaille Elephant blush most of the time, but that was mostly because it was in my makeup bag and I kept forgetting to change it out. Oh well, it’s a beautiful, versatile color! I was also wearing the Hourglass Ambient Powder palette as blush. In October, I’ve been wearing Lancome Peche Savvy a lot.
