First, I’ll share mine!
I picked up “It” Girl Lipstick by Lancome and a new tube of Chanel Exceptionnel mascara (lurve!) just yesterday while at Nordstrom!
So far, I have ordered Chanel Rouge Coco lipstick in Teheran from Chanel’s site and Wham! Bam! Glam! nail polish from MAC.
I’m at work right now and the snow continues to come down – winter needs to be over!

I scored some cheap philsophy lip glosses, 4 for 5.70!! at Winners. Blackberry, Pear and Kiss Me something or other.
-Dior Creme de Gloss in 441, creamy rose. This combined with Dior Kiss as a conditioner underneath is AMAZING!
-Chloe perfume, another new found love
-Philosophy perfume
Going tubing on the mountain tomorrow, have to enjoy that snow!
And hopefully seeing Shutter Island on Sunday.
ugh I wish there was a Winners by me!! I almost bought that philosophy Kiss me lip gloss for $20!!
I will be going to Nordstrom tonight after work to check out the new Rouge Coco – i am hoping they still have Mademoiselle in stock. I’m just anticipating for the worse I suppose but then again I just don’t want to get disappointed when I show up!
I also preordered 2 cremesheen glosses and 1 MSF blush for next week’s MAC’s Too Fabulous launch
You know, there was nobody at my Nordstrom when I went. I was all geared up to have to fight people back so I could get my swatch on!
Okay, I know you are in SF so do you go to the one at the Stonestown mall? I’m there like every weekend – the girls at the MAC counter know me by name and play with my daughter while I’m browsing the counter!
With my luck the Chanel counter will be busy or sold out when I get there!
Oh! Christine…I just saw on twitter about your dog Willy 🙁 I’m so sorry to hear about him. He must have bee in your life a long, long time. My family lost our German Shepherd of 13 years last year and I still miss her. Transfer lots of love to Mellan today and take comfort in Willy’s long happy life!
Thank you, Daphne! It’s so hard to let go, even though it is his time and he’s had an incredible healthy, long life (until now). We had Willy for 15 years (well, my parents for the past five years, since I’ve been out on my own), but he was already at least two years old when we adopted him from the shelter. So tough!
Aww, I’m so sorry Christine! I don’t have Twitter and just read the above post. Its always so hard to say goodbye 🙁 My mom and I lost our Rotti/Sheppard, Cuba three years ago and we still miss our boy. We are so blessed to have spent ten years with him though. *hugs*
Thanks, Cherie! My Dad will take him in tomorrow at 11am, but we were able to spend an amazing 15 years with him, and he was already at least 2, if not 3, when we adopted him, so he’s lived a very long and healthy life until now!
I did a sephora haul this week:
2 false eye lashes from sephora (my first ones!), nars purple rain nail polish, sephora by opi in blue grotto, iris i was thinner, and leaf him at the alter (looooove!!!), living proof volumizing styling cream (this stuff REALLY works), sephora brand brush shampoo, and illamasqua blush in Lover.
I also picked up a few cute things for work and play at Zara. My bank account took a good hit this week but its all good…I needed the retail therapy! Sadly, I fell asleep at the wheel yesterday and did some damage to my car but I am ok and fortunately didnt hit anyone…so all good! I also found out I got a B+ on my Organic Chemistry test!!!:) All and all not a bad week….have a good weekend!!!

I stopped by Macy’s to get MAC’s Azalea Blossom and while I was waiting, I picked up Chanel’s Coco Rouge in Legende. I also ordered the 2 new Viva Glam lipsticks, and all 3 lipglasses from Color Forecast pinks. I can’t wait for them to get here!
By the way, is Mademoiselle similar to Dynastie in the Rouge Allure Laque formula? I wish I had tried Mademoiselle on while I was there.
this week all I bought was the Urban Decay superstash which I am loving! For my fellow UK ladies, Debenhams have it on sale for 10 pounds, I think that’s about 7 dollars?
This week my family got our first puppy from guide dogs for the blind, he’s called Blake and he’s five weeks old! we get to keep him for a year, maybe a year and a half depending on how his training goes, then we hand him back, and he can go on to become a proper guide dog and make a massive impact on somebody’s life, and if we did a good job, we get another one 🙂 I’m having so much fun playing with this little puppy, as right now he just has to get to know us, he’s already realized my boyfriend is the weak one and the puppy dog eyes will get you your way!
10 pounds is 15 dollars or so. 😉
I bought two of the ‘new’ MAC eyeshadows, Lucky Green and Red Brick, and also Goldmine. Then I got Lustering l/s as BtM.
I sort of behaved myself this week…

Kelly e/s (is it just me, or is it difficult to find a nice cool-toned green eyeshadow- they all seem to be either yellow-green, brown-green or teal, which tends more towards blue)
I’ve been thinking about purchasing Amber Russe. Does anyone on here have any opinions on it? I’d love to hear them. Thanks!
i find it’s got a lot of sparkle and pigment- the silver is very evident. all the gelees have a tendency to migrate, but this one in particular. from the description on the web site, it was pretty much what i was expecting. i do recommend it 🙂
I picked up some super buys on Lorac shadows on Hautelook.com for $4 each!!! Can’t wait for the weekend with my cocker spaniel. She’s toooooo cute!!!
Well, I have finally ordered my Alice in Wonderland palette, however, it was not easy. Instead of the pre-advertised 22nd Feb, Debenhams put it on their website on the 20th, and it sold out within 12 hours, so missed out on it. (I was too busy that day, went to see my very favourite band, Europe (you know, It’s the final countdown!) in London. The the palette didn’t come back to stock until Wednesday (24th) 4pm – I know excatly what time it was because I was refreshing that page pretty much every 10 minutes all day! 😀 Since I got a 10% discount code from the lovely Charlotte (at http://www.lipglossiping.com), I also ordered the new purple Givenchy Phenomen’eyes mascara and the YSL spring eyeshadow quint. 🙂 Hope everything arrives tomorrow.
I managed to find some testers of Guerlain B lipsticks and Kiss Kiss Strass lipsticks, so I ordered 7, plus a few bits and bobs.
Really looking forward to Spring Colour Forecast finally arriving in the UK next week! 🙂 Doesn’t feel like spring, it’s still pretty cold, had enough of the winter now!
Picked up Mac Viva Glam VI SE lipstick and am so very tempted to pick up at least one more before they’re gone. It’s the perfect MLBB lipstick for me!
Also received my first Zoya nail polishes over the weekend. I’m excited to try them out, and will probably be doing that today since I’m snowed in.
mac is going to the both new 2 viva glam lipsticks for about a year, like they do with their others ones, even though their LE, i dont think u have to worry about them running out if theyll be diplayed for 1 year =)
Yesterday, i’ve bought from the Spring Color Forecast, which released yesterday, the following items:

Lipglosses: Hush Hush Rose and Electric Fuchsia
furthermore the Pigment Stacked2! and Ripe Peache.
Today i was frustrated, and so i bought from Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge Calypso Coral and the Maui Shimmer Bronzer.
what shall i say…this was not my day. but buying makeup helps. *LOL*
I’ve been a little addicted to my local CCO….so I picked up 3 Mac eyeshadows. 1)100 Strokes ( I can see why some don’t like it but it really works for me I paired it with Satin Taupe in the IL and it gave me the best smokey eye) 2)Espresso 3)Creme de Miel. I’m very happy with all of them.
I just bought the MAC nail polish in Studded for my “haul.” This weekend I will be enjoying the last of the Olympic parties in town.
This week I managed to pick up MAC Lipstick in “Angel”, “Bronzilla” and “Pretty Please”. I also went to Target and Revlon’s Matte Lipsticks caught my eye so I grabbed “Nude Attitude” and “Pink Pout”.
Note: Angel and Pink Pout are VERY similar so if you can’t get Angel pick up Revlon’s Pink Pout. =)
I got 3 MAC eye shadows: Humid, Gorgeous Gold and Lucky Green. I also got a Paint Pot in Artifact, which is a gorgeous color.
I did a bit of damage last night at the mall! I’m also going back to Nordstrom Tonight to pick up some stuff and have dinner!

From various online sources this week, I got a bunch of BNIB items for under retail: MAC Rated R eyeshadow (I’m IN LOVE), MAC Shy Girl lipstick (perfect peachy nude, yay!), MAC Eclectic Edge marbleized lipglass (SO. PRETTY), Lancome Bi-Facil, and Clinique All About Eyes. And one more…Christine! I GOT MARISHEENO LIPSTICK! I never EVER see it for sale but just recently a girl had it on LiveJournal BNIB for retail price and I about lost it. And I knew it was good when I saw the CCO pricetag on it when it arrived. After all this time reading about your love for it I finally have it and oh, it’s lovely. It will go with everything, perfect everyday color. Yay!! 🙂

Mmm, I ordered some MAC stuff from Nordstrom’s that was sold out at MAC online, mostly from the Color Forecast collection. Vintage Grape & Azalea blossom blushes, Ember Glow & Almondine l/g, Colour Me Coral l/s. Then I got Myself & Equality from All Ages/Races/Sexes and I got the Lady Gaga Viva Glam l/s 🙂
I also just got in my order of Coastal Scents brushes and their HD Foundation samples so I can figure out my color…and I ordered from SugarPill I couldn’t resist that Dollipop. Mmm, well I have to say, I haven’t bought makeup in a while so I went a little crazy.
Just got two more MAC palettes to reorganize… YAY! Plus, Lady Danger lipstick, and Vanilla eyeshadow. Otherwise, I’m still utilizing my last haul like no other(MAC color forecast, Fyrinnae eyeshadow, SMH eyeshadow—the matte red is AWESOME!!!!!!!!
I bought Mac 109, 217, and 187 brush and I just ordered Nars Orgasm and Deep Throat blush online with 18% off. I also bought Juicy Couture perfume too. Very happy with my latest purchase.
I got both of the Viva Glam bags …. I might give one as a gift but who knows LOL….
Greatest thing that happened this week….
I teach an intensive Autism preschool class and none of my students talk ….. but this week one of my kiddos called his mom “mom” for the first time ever …. I cried to be there to hear it and to see his mom hear her son for the first time say that one word all moms need to hear was amazing … It makes everything I do worth it.

damn girl!!!!! i wish i got all their permanent e/s like that all at one time. i have a huge list from their perm collection but never get them, bc im always getting their LE e/s all the time. i am so envious, maybe if i get some extra money i can just spend alot on the pans at a pro store to build my collection, even though i already have alot of mac e/s .
Well my no-buy lasted two weeks!!! I picked up MAC blush ombra in Vintage Grape since I could not stop thinking about it and have been wanting a purple blush for a while now… OH and my bonus was included with my pay this week 🙂
Now on the hunt for the perfect light purple lip… Suggestions??
This w/e will be chill. Watching hockey tonight with friends and will catch up on some work on Sunday while I do laundry. Will also have to find a great book to read now that I’ve finish Sense and Sensibility. Suggestions???

Got MAC Mineralize Foundation SPF 15, True Babe Lipglass, Wham Bam Glam nail polish and a tube of Fresh Salmon lipstick for my very picky mother – she loved mine, and she’s the sort that has used the same one color for the past 20 years.
I’ve never been a foundation person. The most I’ve ever used is tinted moisturizer, but all things change, especially the skin. I really love this new foundation – very easy to control the coverage while looking like you aren’t wearing anything. It gives a lovely, dewey fresh sheen on the skin and leaves my skin feeling really soft as well. Works perfectly on the eyelids and under the eyes. Great product!
Special mention to True Babe – it’s great to get a gloss without shimmer, glitter or frost in a strong color. Looks really modern.
I picked up YSL Rouge volupte in Paris Rose and Golden gloss in golden petal, gorgeous spring colors! Also decided to pick up Geurlain meteorites primer because its so beautiful I couldn’t resist! At Mac I got MSF in medium, studio sculpt concealer in nc30, and Viva glam Lady Gaga lipstick! Came home to another package from sephora with my Shu Uemura face architect foundation and 24 karat eyelash curler. That made my week.

Let me try to remember. I believe my list for this week was: Benefit Coralista, Too Faced The Bronzed and The Beautiful, Lumiere Pre-Buy Brushes (finally arrived – so excited to try them out), and Lancome Juicy Tubes Holiday Set. From MAC, I ordered: Azalea Blossom Blush Ombre, Preppy Lip Gelee, Hang Up l/s, and Purple Rage l/g. Now, I’m torturing myself on whether or not to order any eyeshadows from Spring Colour Forecast. I also finally received my Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland palette, which I ordered a while ago. Stupid weather delays.
I failed at no makeup purchases during Lent. Haha, like a week later. I was okay until I hit Ulta to return something and I saw their NYX section had grown. Yes, it’s cheaper online but then you have to wait. They have candy glitter liners finally! And they carry more JEP colors. I was so stoked and not sure if it was gonna be restocked that I snagged some stuff. I don’t regret it though!
I placed a MAC order and a QVC order for a a couple items…thank God for three payments…lol. However, I just got about twenty items from the ELF studio collection and I am impressed with about 80% of it. The flat top brush gives me flawless foundation application…it’s like what my MAC 109 should have been doing this whole time rather than having little porcupine babies on my face.
I got a nude cream colour base and a gift set from stila 🙂
I’m sorry for your loss, Christine. 🙁 Losing a pet is hard any time, but especially when you’ve had them for awhile…
This week I went to MAC in The Bay, and picked up Stacked 1 pigments, Lavender Wind lipglass and Show Orchid lipstick. The lipglass is really a dupe of my favourite Lancome Plum Freeze juicy tubes smoothie (which is discontinued); even the texture is similar. I will probably go back and get an “everyday” lipstick from the Chanel counter in a couple of weeks.
Yes, it’s so hard! I am at peace with the decision, just because his quality of life is zilch now, but more because he lived 17+ years – which is a big deal for a dog – so I think he had a long, healthy (until now) life!
I went to MAC monday after some delicious mxican food and picked up bare study paintpot & wedge eyeshadow.
And today I picked up stila smudge pot in cobalt, urban decay skull shadow box, philosopy purity made simple, clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion, & another clinique item that I forgot the name of.
I would say a not too shabby hauling week it has been(:

I just received order of mac’s viva glam cyndi, viva glam v (love) and cherish (thanks for the swatch). Also, bought brush cleaner. A couple of weeks agp I also purchased mac ls in color me coral, fresh salmon and laugh a lot, lipglasses in kumquat, ember glow and hush hush rose. Whew! I am holding off for a bit. This is on top of a few avon lippies i also recieved. Gave up buying(collecting) makeup for lent!
Cleaning house this weekend, maybe taking kids to the movies.
I picked up Rouge Coco in Legende — love! I also picked up a MAC 217 brush and a pan of Arena but I’m thinking of exchanging for another color. I’m looking for a good pale color that I can wear as a wash to brighten my eyes and maybe wear with a cat-eye liner. I had the MA put it on me but now that I see it in different light I think it might be too orange on me. Any ideas welcome!
Just got the premium sigma brush set. I finally will have a chance to use them this week….

FINALLY was able to get the Gaga lipstick and its very wearable, suprisingly. Love her, love it. Also picked up Da Bling eyeshadow and it’s the perfect pink. Got my swimsuit early this year. Pretty lilac color with Ed Hardy style detail but toned down 🙂 My cat’s the cutest period. Haha

This is going to sound silly, but I’ve finally started my MAC eyeshadow collection (Never been into eyeshadow until I realized I needed them) so I got the pro palette, Nehru e/s, and bamboo e/s to start off. I just want to test drive them before I buy more.
I’ve been on a no-buy for a while, but I did order MAC Ruby Woo online 🙂

I’ve been working at Sephora now for a few months… so I don’t really ~need~ to buy anything… unless it’s a really specific item/very expensive that there’s just no way that I’d be given it for free. But reading all these hauls has made me a little sad because I haven’t bought anything at MAC in so long. 🙁 I want so much from Color Forecast but alas… I have to be realistic that I don’t need any of it.
Had an 8 hour work day today, and work all weekend eek… but my birthday is on Monday so yaaay!
