Tarte Sets & Kits for Fall 2015
It seems crazy that the Fall palettes are coming out already! Where is the year going? These sets look great btw.
Tarte sets always looks so pretty!
Maybe I’m wrong here, but I feel that every limited edition Tarte palette that comes out looks like every other limited edition Tarte palette that came out before. It seems the only difference is the way the packaging looks on the outside and the layout of the products inside. The eye shadows are very similar in tone to one another and the blushes are similar, too. I love Tarte and I love how they come out with kits to get a deal on their products, I just never get overly excited over the palettes as once you’ve bought one, you’ve kind of bought them all. Again, I could be wrong, it just looks that way to me. 🙂
I agree with you and Katherine T. All their palettes look pretty much the same to me and I’m more interested in some color. Don’t get me wrong; I love neutrals and wear them the most but have more than I could possibly use now.
A new palette with shades of purple, plum, forest green, and teal would have me whipping out my credit card so fast…..
They can venture into other colors while still keeping their “earthy” tones alive. Their summer poppy palette had me SO excited because when I think of poppies I think of bright orange, red, and yellow – the palette was ALL neutral browns. WHAT??? I know neutrals sell but the whole point of it being limited edition is that it’s short lived so branch out a little!
Totally agree.. they have the most boring selection of colors ever.
So completely 1000% agree.
The Energy Noir Eye & Cheek Palette has my attention. I’ll wait to see if the shadows perform well and try to get a better idea of whether of not the blush would work on my coloring. I LOVE the design of the Colored Clay Bronzer Blush in Peach Bronze but fear it would be too peachy for me.
Tarte has already issued way too many neutral palettes — they need some color
I completely agree! Their summer poppy palette had me SO disappointed because poppies are red, orange, or yellow. I thought for sure they’d have a bright red blush and some more warmer shades but instead it was all NEUTRALS!! Not even one exciting color to add some thrill to your look.
I’m liking the palette, seems like it’d be great for travel.
I love everything about that palette EXCEPT the blush which is just too warm and too orange for me (I know others will love it and this will be a perfect palette for them; I’m jealous and wish they had an option with a more plum toned blush – same shadows but a cooler fall-themed blush)
That’s exactly what I thought when I saw the palette!
The first palette looks ok to me.
The Energy Noir Eye & Cheek Palette looks really nice – I own very little of this brand so I might give that palette a try if it gets good reviews!
I like the blush shades in the palette and Full Face of Gorgeous Color Collection, but I don’t need any more brown eyeshadows. Pass.
I’m always attracted by their palettes. Never did though, none has been perfect enough and this one won’t be “it” based on the blush colour but I’ll still be interested in the review and maybe in the next years one of their palettes will be “the one” for me. They’re always similar in concept and mostly have similar colours and I like that. Gives me hope that the perfect one will be released at some point! hehe
These look lovely kits and sets – it would be hard to choose which one……
I’m mildly curious about the palette, but only mildly.
I’ll take both the full face and gorgeous glow set please !
