Ombre Rouge Eyeshadow Palette($40.00) (New, Permanent)

Sculpt, widen, and brighten your eyes with Ombre Rouge Eye Palette. Matte shades provide pigment-rich tones to effortlessly create a variety of looks that go from subtle to bold. These shadows are infused with green coffee oil, which awakens the eyes and smooth the lids, while a built-in priming effect extends the wear of your shadow. With warm and cool undertones that are ideal for all skintones, this palette’s versatile formula can be used wet or dry as an eyeliner.

Cannot express how happy I am about this palette. If it has enough pigment to show up on my NC50 complexion, it’s coming home with me. And it means the makeup fairies have answered my prayers!!!! Thank you for letting us know. I had no idea this was even in the works!!!!

I noticed this on Sephora.com yesterday morning and ordered it (I check Sephora.com and Ulta.com when I get to my office before starting work). I had bought the Ombre Nudes one because it was all mattes, but I rarely used it because the colors were too warm and orange-y for me. Since the formula itself was nice, I thought I’d give the Ombre Rouge a try as the colors seems to be more unique and less orange.

Meh, another neutral shadow palette, like the other one that came out with. And a couple of the shades are too warm for me

I’m way too excited for this. It’s not as satisfactorily ~ombre~ as the last one, but I know I will get a lot of use out of it.

Mine came Friday, and it’s way more beautiful in person, wow. The three lighter shades all have a rosy undertone to them. I was scared the 4th shade would be a dupe for Too Faced Peanut Butter but it has a redder undertone whereas Peanut Butter is a bit more yellow. The last shade also has a pretty strong red undertone without being burgundy. I swatched around my collection trying to find a dupe and I couldn’t find one!

I saw this after my internet finally came back on! I got all happy! Did a lil’ happy dance, too! Then it hit me, these look similar to many of my favorite MAC shades of e/s. Perhaps they’ll be more different than I think.

I like a simple neutral palette but really these colours are too dark to be a good palette for a full look for me. And the mix of warm and cool colours means that some of them will be less usable… Which is easier to accept with a 12-shadow palette than a 5 colour one because it leaves too few shades! I think companies would be doing a good thing if they specifically put out 2 palette “equivalents”, one warmer, one cooler.

This isa beautiful addition to the first one though I’m not certain when I’ll jump on it as it is permanent and so much has barely begun trickling in and I’m about close to broke! Lol! 🙂

Is something wrong with their promo picture? It looks almost the same as the previous one and on the photo that Christina posted in her instagram the palette looks entirely different (much lighter and cooler, which i think we all hope for).
I close my eyes on Becca’s attempt to establish the connection between coffee application and eyes awakening, just hope there is no coffee there because eyes is sensitive area and safety for me is more important than any sort of eye awakening.
