Schick Quattro For Women Razor
($9.19 @ Drugstore.com) puts the disposable razor to shame. The head of the razor has two conditioning strips that contain aloe and vitamin E, and it is probably one of my favorite parts about this genre of razors. You just know your legs will feel just that much smoother when you’re done. I’m sure you figured out that “Quattro” refers to its four blades, which are positioned closely together. But you know why I really liked this razor? Because it comes with a shower hanging doo-dad. There’s a suction cup on one side that you attach to your shower wall, and then the razor hangs in it. Awesome, so awesome. No more razor on the tub sides, precariously positioned! I use this kind of razor on my legs, underarms, etc. (I save disposables for bikini area–only because you want to have a super sharp, brand-new edge all of the time, so disposable is way cheaper). My legs are lovin’ it. By the by, that $9.19 price includes two replacement cartridges, so it’s not a bad deal at all. I use the schick quattro — and i looooooooove it 🙂 i may have to try using a disposable for the bikini area, i never really thought of that………but, the Quattro is GREAT for legs — honestly, sometimes i skip a day 🙂 they stay smooth that long!
Happy to hear there are other fans 🙂 Yeah, I just use cheapy disposables (I think I use pink Gillettes), because then I can use them a few times on the bikini area (or just once) and then maybe on my legs once or twice, then toss.
I have used this shaver for like 3 years now its a godsend and I wont use anything else…I used the male version before they came out with the womens line it works just as well.
The shower suction cup rocks bc ut keeps it from rusting AAAAND for having that many blades it still cleans off very well and the cartridges last a fairly long time!

I actually prefer the male Gilette Mach3 🙂 I’ve tried all the gal versions of the non-disposables & just prefer the Mach3. I get a closer shave. *shrugs* But I have to say that of all the women’s razors I’ve tried the Quattro was the best.
I use my husband’s gillete mac3!!! (on bikini line, quattro for the legs)

The Quattro doesn’t give me a very close shave, I have one that I am trying to use until the blade is no good just to get it out of the bathroom and not waste money by throwing it out, but for me the Venus is AWESOME! It works the best for my arms, legs and Bikini aread.
But to each her own razor choice….

I’m a big fan of the quattro. I usually use an electric shaver for my legs, but I still use my quattro for under my arms. My skin is too sensitive to shave daily with a blade.
What electric shaver do you use?
I use the Venus for the underarms, Noxema teeny tiny ones for the lanscaping but my HG is the VEET in the green tube, it’s now available in the mega-tub with pump version. I can grow hair in a heartbeat so the shaving thing would last, oh maybe till lunch then I would be “fuzzy wuzzy again”.
how thick is your hair? I’ve been eyein’ the Veet, but don’t think it’s strong enough to work on me

lol@ non-Chewbacca-like!!! I have used the quattro for a looooong time and love it. Nair has worked, but I have some seriously thick and quick growing hair, so nothing gets totally rid of hair like shaving. I just can’t let it grow long enough to wax, I’ve only done that like 5 times.

i use a Venus razor, i guess it works all right lol. my hair grows so fast though, so i have to shave everyday if i want to stay smooth. i used to use the new venus that had the soap thingys on it, but that did not last long, and they’d just melt away or fall off within two weeks, maybe one. maybe i should try the schick quattro, its a lot cheaper than a venus!
I usually do every other day, thankfully!
I use this already and it probably is the best razor EVER! I find I don’t have to shave as often because somehow it gets such a close shave that it takes so much longer for hair to grow to a length that is suitable enough for shaving again.

I have a schick quattro for men for the bikini line, but I don’t need to shave my legs. I don’t know why, hair just refuses to grow there.

I use Venus Breeze daily on arms, legs and underarms, and it’s amazing. Bikini area – it changes, really. I occasionally shave, sometimes I wax, other times I use a depilatory. But I do love my razors :-p

Having a one year old & newborn I actually have time to shave when showering with Schick Intuition (Sensitive). It cuts the shaving time in half when you minus the shaving cream/gel.
