Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Hummm.. I think I’m an expert on seeing what different lighting (direction, quality and “warmth” of it) does to how you look.. 😛 (it does alot!)

Skin, of all things. A close friend is a beauty therapist and I have chronically sensitive skin that dehydrates at the drop of a hat. I always laugh when people from other countries talk about sun exposure though, as we live in New Zealand and have to contend with an ozone hole, so its ‘Slip, Slop, Slap and Wrap’ every summer here LOL!

Waxing my eyebrows. I have incredible eyebrows that no one other than myself is allowed to touch. I have the whole “professional lab” set up. I can also do the best blow-out ever! Not even the Christophe Salon can touch that.

I’m getting to be a skin expert after all my research to find something that doesn’t break me out but actually moisturizes my skin!

I’m an expert on makeup application for different faces…and doing your makeup in an age appropriate manner to make you look better.

I make it a personal mission of mine to make women towards their forties and fifties at least five to ten years younger by suggesting the right products (even if it’s not Benefit seeing as I work for them) to tha ladies.

Makeup. I’ve been experimenting with it the longest, and I’ve managed to gain some skill at applying it to myself and others…

And I’m pretty good at sunblock and skin care generally – give me my SPF 50!

I’m an expert on what eyeshadows look good on other people. It’s not rare for my opinion to be the same as a make-up artists. Exactly how to use that makeup is a completely different story.

Definitely doing my eyes. My husband saw me looking at these blogs and said I should do one. The only one small thing I still feel a bit uncomfortable with is getting cat-eye liner even….but that will come shortly.

I’d say colors. I’m an artist myself, and so painting a face is just another form of art expression. (Haha, but that doesn’t mean I put on clown make up 😉 )

I’ve got the whole color theory down and I can combine eyeshadow colors like there is no tomorrow xD

But I totally suck at hair and skin 😛 My skin is just a mess!
