NOOOOOOO!!! just when I tell myself no new products….this comes along. Well, I must say I have a few items hanging out in my shopping cart and 15% is 15%. Loving the new Clinique blush colors and lipsticks
Thanks for info!
Well, I’ve been lusting over some Becca highlighters! I can’t decide between Opal and Moonstone…well, maybe I’ll get both! 😉
I feel like other companies are so much more generous with their sales. And frequent. Sephora keeps us hangin’ by a thread alllll year long to save a few bucks. I am grateful for the info, though, Christine. I check in here daily. 🙂
I agree with you. I really like how ulta does the 20% off.
Can’t wait even though I already purchased a good portion of stuff but it’s LE. Are they going to sell the Too Faced Melted Metal Lipsticks? I really want to buy them from Sephora for the points and to help me keep my VIB Rouge status 🙂 …
They have them!
Is it a one-time discount or do you get multiple uses during the specified dates?
This is all the info I have – I don’t have any codes or fine print at this time.
@ Ginny….its for multiple times throughout the specified dates…at least for VIB rouge am sure about this coz I called customer service to inquire and they said I could use it as many times as I want:)
You can use it multiple times. I’ve used it in store and 2 online orders, so far. Lol
Last sale I got the discount more than once, they just limit things like totes to one per account.
You can use it over and over again. I already have. 🙂
I’ve used my VIB Rouge discount on three different occasions: twice online and once in store. No problem with multiple uses 🙂
You can use it multiple times (at least for VIB Rouges) during the specified dates. Don’t ask me how I know this! 🙂
I used it on two different orders, but today’s the last day!
Last year, if I remeber corretly, BIs got 15% off too. I wish sephora would’ve upgraded the benefits given to VIBs and rouges instead of downgrading benefits given to BIs. Just my 2 cents.
I agree. I am a BI and would be happy to get the 15% and the VIB get 20%. I don’t feel like 10% really does anything.
At least you can combine it with ebates! 4% cash back on top of the sale is a little extra ompf.
Thanks for the heads-up, Christine! This will be awesome, coming at the end of my no-buy — almost like a reward!
Looking at YSL Volupté Tint-in-Oil, Clinique Long Last Glosswear, Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 47, Josie Maran Cheek Gelée, BareMinerals Complexion Rescue, Fresh Seaberry Face Oil, Urban Decay Sheer Revolution lipsticks. Oooh, and maybe NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadow Palette, if I’m feeling super spendy!
As much as i love and look forward to their ages i am always disappointed that VIBs and Rouge still get the same discount. We spend more than three times the amount they do so we should get a Peter discount. Whatever though because i will still go in and buy shit anyway.
exactly. why even have that status if there are no added benefits?
LOL!!
YES! I am so excited for this! I’ve been putting off buying a new bottle of perfume (Chanel Chance Eau Tendre) for this reason, and I’m going to try and get Naked Basics 2.
I’ve been wanting to try the Cover Fx custom cover drops. Are u gonna do a review on it…please…pretty please 🙂
One of the new clinique cheek pops can have my money. Also want an illuminating primer – perhaps cover fx or laura mercier. Recommendations?
How are you liking the CF custom cover drops? I love them! Paula’s Choice, Wayne Goss and other blogs have given the thumbs up so far. I have brought one of my tinted moisturizers back to trade for this and it is worth the $$ for sure! Grab them now while they still having the sale.
As far as illuminating primer, I think Laura Mercier is a good choice. I have the protect primer with SPF 30 and use the drops with it everyday!
I couldnt resist and bought the custom cover drops. So glad I did – such a versatile product. Been using it with my tried and tested Shiseido sunscreen – love the one step and done routine 🙂
I have also tried it mixed with Bare Minerals BB Gel and my regular moisturizer – liked it with everything.
Gonna grab that LM illuminating primer soon…
YESSS!!! I’ve been waiting for this sale. My list is a mile long and growing by the day. I’m going to have to narrow it down or I’ll be broke!
Ugh..I am in the same boat as Melanie! I have so many things I need to be saving for now. But It’s such a good time to get things I have been wanting; Girl, my list is endless. But, a couple or more Rouge G’s Georgia,Gennna,Girly) , lots of Nars audacious on my list too, MUFE artist shadows, Clinique pop blushes, Too faced melted metallics (if they get them!). I have been wanting Marc Jacobs eye cons in the tease and night owl and MUFE cream blushes forever.I would also love to try the new Marc Jacobs and Clinique lipsticks. So, IDK, just depends on the cash flow. I’ve been putting off so much and buying way too much makeup.I am going to have to get new skin care within a month. So, I have been looking into that. I have been using Omorovicza for about 6 mos. it’s good stuff and surely has helped my dry skin issues. But, GOSH, it is breaking me. I looked at my cart for what i need to get to restock and really, I could probably add some good pieces to my spring/summer wardrobe for that or take me and my daughter on a much needed mini trip. I have 20% discount and it’s still absurd. I know skincare is super important..believe me. I think i have tried it all! But, I am not sure if this is about maybe double overpriced. Id appreciate any suggestions for research because this is really stressing me out!
I tried all kinds of things for my dry skin this winter from low to high end, and it was finally coconut oil that healed my dry patches. I use it everyday now. It’s so thin and absorbs well, does great under my foundation. And so affordable…
Hi Tina, I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about coconut ol. Where do you buy yours and whatever name of the product? I’m willing to try it especially if it’s an affordable option! Thank you!:)
I’m so ready for this sale!
The Kevyn Aucoin The Contour Book & Sensual Skin Enhancer since I haven’t tried anything from the brand before. Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment (x2) because it’s my holy grail skincare item! And the Tata Harper Replenishing Nutrient Complex because it’s lovely but also expensive 🙂
My only hope is that the new Clinique blushes are available for VIBs by then… and not 3/4 sold out.
Yes, I hope so too!!
It ends one day before I get paid, noo! Haha
Hope costumers from Europe can benefit from the sale this time around. I’m a VIB rouge but don’t Get any of the benefits because I live in Europe – so annoying!
Definitely some new mascara and possibly the Kat Von D Interstellar palette, still debating on that!
laura mercier caviar stick in orchid
clinique cheek pop in pansy pop
shiseido cotton
Though I might not get all of my list.
Wish they’d made vib rouge 25, vib 20 and bi stayed at 15, as taxes are 12% where I live
25% would be CRAZY.
Oh, that would be something else, huh?!? If only……
Taxes where I am are 13% so the discount isn’t really all that much except a tax break but I guess it’s something 🙂
I’m looking forward to
both Kevyn Aucoin books
Clinique Sunscreen for the summer
Bobbi Brown Hot Collection Art Stick in Orange
Nars Audacious in Audrey
Clinique Cheek Pop in Cola Pop (Pansy Pop was my first choice but I waited too late in the day to order it and it was already gone!)
I’m sure I’ll probably get something else too, I was waiting for ebates or mrrebates for the additional discount but it seems like everything I want would be gone before long. This Saturday I hope it pick up Guerlain Meteorites for my mom in store so I guess that too 🙂
A lot of stuff sold out SO FAST! I couldn’t believe how quickly Surratt products went (in general).
I know! All the Surratt eyeshadows and blush I wanted are all sold out. Sucks!
I bought a Surratt highlighter brush; I have four other brushes…not fond of Sephora, but bought it today anyhow.
In-store? How are you liking it?
No. I wish. No toucheeeee. Free shipping. It will take forever to get here not as it advertises. Each one is hand design and I would had like to choose, but I wanted that 10% off. I don’t buy from Sephora generally. Buy now when the brush products are new…..always experience quality decrease as time goes on. And yes, I know it is a nice Japanese product.
It’s so pricey, 10% off is meaningful. Do let me know if you think it is lovely/on par with top end brushes.
Got the brush today. Thought it would be bigger. Nice shape. Good for highlighting and brushing excess. So soft. Firm and has some give. Not fluffy like the Suqqu cheek brush. And the bristles are not long so I have some control. Love it.
Thank you SO much, Stacey! I really appreciate you taking the time to update me. Happy to hear it lived up to the price, lol! I always worry when a non-brush brand adds brushes – especially at Surratt’s pricing!
Welcome to the club ! Here, taxes are 15%. I am VIB Rouge and I went to their store on Sunday and scored Clinique cheek blushes in Pansy pop and Nude pop. Also got both the Hourglass Ambient Bronzers. Still have a list: YSL Rouge Volupt in Spicy Warm Beige, BareMinerals Sexy Neutrals palette, Becca Opal and who knows what else I will add to my cart !
Ouch. I’m lucky; Oregon doesn’t have a sales tax.
Ooooh, the goodies!!! I am going in for Clinique Pop Cola and if they have the new UD eyeshadows, then Fireball. If not, then either the new Tarte face sunscreen or First Aid Beauty all mineral sunscreen for the face. Because even though I’m not light or even lt. medium, nor do I burn easily at all, I DO get non-pregnancy or hormonal melasma and sun ‘freckles’. Plus it helps forstall aging.
I’ll definitely be curious if the UD stuff launches at Sephora before the sale is over! I know they gave me 4/15 as the date, but they didn’t specify if all the retailers were going to do it then too (and I don’t think anyone else but them have it up).
Me too! One can only hope it’ll be before the sale is over. But if not, I’ll just wait until May, and then do like Pokemon; Catch ’em all! Fireball, Tonic, Dive Bar! Hoping Cola Pop is there too.
Christine, I was going to ask if you knew this. 🙂 I saw they were on the UD website, but I still haven’t seen anything on the Sephora website. Rapture blush was on my list!
Don’t know for the website but I saw them at my Sephora store. They are not on the floor, but they brought them out from the back when people asked for them.
I had a list ready for Sunday. The main things I went for were the cover fx custom drops, new Marc Jacobs brush & new katvon d eye shadow brush. I also ended up getting a cover fx bronzer & a few other things. Then I had to go exchange the drops for a different shade & did more damage. These coupons are dangerous!
LOL! I think I have placed three or four orders……
Ooooh curious minds want to know what you bought!
I picked up a couple of new Formula X shades, Briogeo Rosarco hair oil, and a Smashbox Photo Angle liner in Lilac (which I love.) I may pick up another Surratt matte lipstick (Alluring), the new Josie Maran highlighter wand, and Marc Jacobs eyebrow pencil.
Formula X has such pretty shades!
I think I’m going to pick up 3 MUFE Artist Shadows (thinking about I662 Amber Brown because I need a good copper shadow for summer, ME912 Orchid because I don’t have a shadow like it and then…. maybe I520 Pinky Sand because I think it could double as a blush?) + the pan to get the discount. And maybe another Sephora Contour Eye Pencil. I’m not sure yet. I think I’m just gonna swing by Sephora tomorrow afternoon and browse.
I was gonna say, make sure to go in-store, cause I don’t think the discount works on top of the trio discount online… at least, not last I heard, lol!
No, it doesn’t. 🙁
I was so hoping to get a bunch of the new UD stuff but i spoke with someone and she pretty much said it won’t launch during the sale. Basically UD doesn’t want a new product to be bought with any discount. I didn’t know this but places like sephora & ulta have to get permission from the brand to discount them, the prestige brands. The manufacturer has to approve or tell them when to have a sale or accept a coupon. Very interesting, learn something new everyday.
I’m not surprised they have to get permission, though I can’t recall Sephora EVER excluding a brand before, so I wonder whether they really have to seek out permission or if it is built into a selling agreement from the beginning.
So far, I’ve ordered Clinque Cheek Pop in Heather Pop, UD Revolution Lipstick in Rapture, UD Sheer Revolution Lipstick in F-Bomb and some Origins Cleanser. We’re planning on going to the store on Friday to look at some things–she wants to check out some lipsticks and I want to get some concealer and maybe the UD Naked Skin Ultra Def foundation. And I’m sure a few random things might just fall into our basket.
I agree with people that it would be nice if the VIBR discount was a little bigger. On the other hand, I was going to buy all the stuff I ordered online anyway, so it’s nice that I got it essentially tax free.
It’s one of those “well, better than nothing,” but one definitely feels like it could be a little more tempting.
I still have NO idea what the benefit of being a VIB Rouge is!
Placed my last order 2 days back and m done for now lol 🙂
I had no idea about Mr.Rebate but when i signed up was curious to know how it works .. figured out that it is same ” click.link” … naaahhhhh
went through your link an wish each and every reader start doing that 🙂
its not repaying you for the hard work you do but just a small thank you from me for saving my money
XOXO 🙂

pls share last minute recommendations na 🙁 🙁
noooo
am done , am done , am done
But , its my Birthday month
Awwwww, you are really sweet, Rashmi! Thank you so much 🙂 It really helps!!
Happy birthday month!!
What kind of products do you feel like you are missing? What kind of recommendation? 😀
I’m honestly looking for good base makeup ….
like concealer ,tinted moisturiser , foundation , setting powder for my oily to combination skin
do you like me to try IT cosmetic concealer ??
Aahhhhh
thank you for birthday wishes in advance … am gonna remind you too lol 🙂
I think you would like the IT Cosmetics Concealer! You may also like Shiseido’s stick concealer!
Love the Givenchy Le Rouge lipsticks Hibiscus Exclusif (302) is on my list could you recommend some other colors? I have the 202. I’m blond and medium tan skin with green eyes.
I think the corals are lovely — Rose Taffetas and Corail Decolette. I also think that Brun Createur and Brun Vintage are great more neutral/subdued shades for medium-tan skin tones.
My list is Laura Mercier Indiscretion, Anastasia Brow Wiz, Benefit Beauty Blender Set, Nars Audacious Anna, Makeup Forever Primer Step 1 (either the smoothing or the Green Color Correcting one, any advice on the two would be greatly appreciated!)
Oh and the Clinique Blushes in Peach Pop and Rosy Pop!
I’m finally trying Dipbrow, haha! I’m torn on whether to try Brow Wiz, but I’m so not a pencil gal for brows.
Ooh, I just got Anna and am so in love!
I’ve gotten completely out of control with this sale. I blame the tax return. 😉 I got a bunch of stuff from Surratt including the blush brush, the petite smokey eye brush, a blush, and a couple of eyeshadows. The brushes are the softest things that have ever touched my skin. WOW. I also got a lancome shine lover lipstick, a two faced melted lipstick, Becca shimmering perfector in liquid and pressed. What else, what else. Some skin care from Perricone and Lancome. Another MUFE eyeliner…I must be stopped.
Happy to hear you’re loving the brushes!
I’ve hauled the Cover FX custom cover drops, Two Faced Melted Fig and Chihuahua (a nude that actually works on me!), Sugar Petal lip Tx, and the MUFE 120 fan brush.
Not quite sure how I feel about the custom cover drops. Oddly I was matched to P50 even though I’m neutral/olive, medium. N50 seemed a little yellow. I feel like the dry out anything I mix them with (moisturizer, bb cream) and emphasize patches and flakes. I spent 3 days on a boat this weekend in FL (tons of sunscreen and a big hat as always), so skin is pretty dehydrated right now. Jury is still out until my skin is back to normal.
Keep me posted on the Custom Cover drops! I have heard mostly good things, but it is early.
I went to Sephora to try to get matched and they couldn’t match me to anything! Seriously, two salesladies were dotting swatches halfway up their arms and couldn’t find me anything even with the ColorIQ. FYI, I’m Asian, light to medium skin-toned, and the Perricone No Foundation Serum matches me perfectly
I’m also hauling the custom cover drops! Thanks for commenting on how drying it can be–I’ll be sure to mix it first with more moisturizing bases first. Someone commented that the G series isn’t too yellow so I’m going to try a couple of shades of N and G even though I’m a light olive. Clinique Pansy Pop ran out before I got my hands on it but I was able to get Bite Beauty Butter Cream Lipstick in Moka & Rosewood, Clinique Acne Gel-Lotion, MUFE Full Cover (my all-time fave!) and Clinique All About Shadow 8-pan Palettes in Everywhere Greys & Everywhere PInks. I’m hoping the Clinique shadows are good–I’ve heard good things.
I tried the Cover Fx drops again today after exfoliating, drinking lots of water, and slapping on some coconut oil yesterday (which I rarely use). Now that my skin is no longer dry, the drops worked great! I added a drop to the NARS tinted moisturizer – it has always been a little to yellow for me – and it worked great to adjust the color and provide a little extra coverage. I still think if you have some flakiness, the pigment in the drops is so concentrated that it will catch on the flakes. But the way my skin was, anything would have.
So glad you posted this! I was getting ready to call to see when it ends. I want to try to pick up a few more things before it ends, mainly some skincare stuff. But, I heard the Tom Ford stuff may be coming in early (like maybe tomorrow). So, I may just have to wait.
Glad I could help 😀
I had a pretty good haul.. The Laura Mercier artist palette, Too Faced Melted in Jelly, Bite Beauty Butter Cream in Rosewood and Clinique Rose Pop (and the Rouge birthday gift)
They already arrived last night. Flash shipping is awesome.
Yayyy! They turned around orders faster this time around, I’d say!
Holy crap~ I can’t believe how much vapourized. I had my list ready for Sunday, but didn’t wake up until late and totally missed out on a lot of the Surratt items.
In any event, I managed to nab the Color FX drops – Of course, I’m in the middle of two shades G20 and G30 (they have an N25, but not a G25..weird), but now I’m good for winter/summer/and whatever goes in between. For reference, I am between MAC NC20 and NC25, but no peach or orange in my complexion. The neutral shades run rather pink, so I ended up going with the gold shades. I have Color FX concealer in neutral and it’s perfect and the highlight and contour palette in neutral as well, but for the drops for whatever reason, I am most definitely G. I mixed the drops with Sunday Riley Juno face oil and my face started out a bit glowy for my tastes, put a thin layer of CDP loose powder on top and an hour or so later, my skin feels fantastic and so lightweight. Looks immaculate.
Another huge instant success: I grabbed Armani brow Maestro in shade #2. I’ve tried these gel brow products in the past and failed miserably with the application. This one was easy peasy and works perfectly with my hair colour and I didn’t end up with scouse brow..not even close. I think this formula might be a bit more sheer than some others. In any event a HUGE win for me.
Things went SOOOO fast. I couldn’t believe it.
Your skin coloring sounds very similar to mine–thank you so much for commenting. I was wondering about the Cover FX Concealer and whether it would work for my skin type (combo–>dry patches on oily skin) and which shade I should order so I’ll have to try Neutral.
There is nothing left in the store! They already pillage with all Surratt, Armani, Givenchy! I am so infuriated!
🙁
I haven’t shopped at Sephora since December. I was on a no buy so I could save up some money. I decided to treat myself now since there was a VIB 15% sale, otherwise I probably would have continued on my no-buy lol. I hauled the: Tartlette Matte palette, Kat Von D Matte eye contour palette, and the Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Artist Pallete. I really lacked matte’s, I had no matte pallete’s so I decided to get two matte palletes because they have different shades, and the ABH one is going to be great for summer! I really wanted to get more items such at Kat Von D liquid lipstick Lolita, and the eyeshadow dual ended brush, but I decided not to. I’m really excited about my order, and i cant wait until it arrives. I want to say Thank you to Christine for really working hard on your site, I check your site everyday multiple times, and i want to say i appreciate all your reviews! Great job!
Aww, thank you so much, Satinder!!
nothing too crazy… I got the UD Sheer Revolution lipstick in Ladyflower, the Too Faced Melt Your Heart Out set (has a full size Melted Peony and deluxe sized Melted Metal Dream House), UD All Nighter spray and Boscia Makeup Breakup
A very nice haul, Andrea!
I got a few more NARS Audacious lipsticks, because I’m obsessed with them and want them all….this time I got Jeanne, Anna, Jane and Barbara and Natalie (already have Anita, Kelly, Raquel, Catherine, Juliette, Brigitte and Catherine). Got a couple of my fave eyeliners MUFE Aqua Eyes in matte black, one in matte brown, and tried some new shades..a burgandy, a plum and a shimmery olive shade. And an Origins face wash I like to always have in my arsenal…Checks and Balances.
oops I didn’t buy Catherine twice, although it is a really lovely shade.. I meant Janet!
Happy to hear you were able to get some of the Audacious Lipsticks! 🙂
I went yesterday and splurged a bit more than I had planned. I came in for Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain in Polished Purple (which is lovely–it feels so much nicer on than the Anastasia liquid lipsticks! It doesn’t feel rough, tacky, or heavy, it’s just a much more impressive formula IMHO.), but also walked out with NARS Heatwave l/s, Becca Pearl poured highlighter, Marc Jacobs Nudist lip liner, and a UD black waterproof liquid liner. Part of me wanted to pick up a perfume too, but I decided to quit while I was… not an additional hundred bucks behind… I also looked at NARS Fanny Audacious l/s and Hourglass Icon, but I have some REALLY similar products and couldn’t justify it, especially after upgrading my highlighter before using up the one I already have.
Pearl! YAY! 🙂
I know people get excited over this, but for those of us living in California where the sales tax is 10%, that really only leaves us with a 5% discount. Even with ebates it’s still just a 9% discount, not exactly worth it to me really.
Totally understand, Sue! I don’t think it’s compelling enough to buy ~all the things~ if they’re not things you’d want/buy. For instance, I bought things I would have normally purchased at full price, so I would have still paid the regular sales tax on top of that, so for me, I still saw savings, but I wouldn’t use it as an excuse to spend $100s more than you are comfortable with!
Here in Toronto taxes are 13%. I’m excited to just save my taxes, because they are a huge chunk of change!
I didn’t haul a lot. I was really hoping the new Urban Decay stuff would have been available, but no such luck. I’m sure it will be right after the sale. I ordered Ardency Inn Modster Manuka Honey Enriched Pigments in Heaven, Hell, Orchid and Disco (Royal was sold out 🙁 ); Too Faced Melted in Villain; UD 24/7 eyeliner pencil in Asphyxia; MUFE Plexi-Gloss in Beetle.
I’m so glad you were at least able to score four of the Ardency Inn shadows – those seem to take forever to get back in stock!
I use this sale to purchase things I know I would need, i.e. skin and hair care. During the winter sale I tend to get new color cosmetics and holiday sets.
Same! I also grab a lot of the new stuff 😀
Haul so far: MUFE plexi-gloss in Beetle, Sephora Collection Pro brushes #18 shader and #15 small shadow, Sephora Collection small pencil sharpener (for my travel bag), and Briogeo deep conditioning mask.
I might go in after work tomorrow and buy: Clinique Cola Pop, Too Faced Melted Villain, a lip brush, and NARS Albatross (though I shouldn’t give NARS another chance, I tried this once and liked it).
Oooh, pencil sharpener! I think I need a new UD Grindhouse. Thank you for the reminder!
Depending whether I’m impressed by the laura mercier artist palette, either that or Clinique pansy cheek pop and laura mercier orchid caviar stick
Good picks 😉
The only thing I bought was the Surratt highlighter brush online. I would had bought the flat eyeshadow brush in medium too, but it was all sold out by the time they let BI purchase. I am not a Sephora fan for many many reasons. Since Sephora is now at the mall in S.F. for the time being, I went upstairs to Nordstrom and bought a YSL mascara and an Armani blush (need to buy these bright pigmented brushes to use with the Suqqu brush). Anyhow, had it not for the Sephora sale, Nordstrom would not had matched the 10% off. So indirectly, I benefited from the Sephora sale.
I haven’t tried, but I was curious if Nordstrom would match VIB/VIB Rouge discount (15%).
I somehow think it is only 10%. 10% online for sure.
Harrods is having 10% off entire store! with some exceptions this weekend.
After this year, I’m sort of wondering, what is the benefit to being a VIB Rouge? There’s a couple of “special” lipsticks that you can get…. Sometimes you have early access to new products, but it’s never anything that good. A couple of in-store events here and there? And really, VIB gets the same discount as VIB Rouge? Seems pretty stupid. I won’t mind if I don’t spend enough this year to stay a Rouge.
At any rate, like a hampster on a wheel, I purchased a bunch of stuff: L’Occitane bath oil, Becca blush in Songbird for a friend, Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask, MUFE brush # 122, Replacement brush head for my clarisonic, Dior Radiance booster pen, Peter Thomas Roth Sulfer mask for my husband’s bacne (lol) and the Touch In Sol Stretchex Stretch Lash Effect Mascara.
<33
What I would say is that there’s no real reason to aspire to be VIB Rouge – that is, I don’t think I’d spend an extra $XYZ to get there just to get there, because the perks are certainly limited. As someone who reviews products and so sooner is better than later, I do appreciate the early access on some products but often they are open to both VIB and VIB Rouges (but not always – I believe Clinique Cheek pops, for instance, were Rouge only for a week or two).
ULTA has a better points program, since the points convert to a $X off your purchase at some point, and Platinum members do get unrestricted coupons more often than regular members, I believe. I like Nordstrom a lot, since I have a card with them and then I can get the $20 notes from time to time and spend on whatever, but from what I can tell, ULTA’s is one of the better ones.
Even though we have tax here in Washington, the 15% discount was a good excuse for me to shop. I got a carven rollerball, becca blushed copper, my phyto supplements, cover fx drops, clinique fig pop blush, bite beauty rosewood buttercream lipstick, laura mercier ritual, bliss foot patrol, first aid beauty facial radiance pads, sephora mixed metals palette and a retractable kabuki brush. Only thing I needed was the phyto supplements… I went a little overboard (as usual)! I must say, even though I rarely post comments I love reading your website/blog Christine!!! Thank you for all your work, ma’am…
You’re still saving the tax and whatever is left over 😀
How is the rollerball you got? I love the idea of rollerballs but don’t have many.
Thank you for reading & commenting, Roselyn!
I like rollerballs because I can put them in my purse/smock and carry around with me. I think it’s very convenient and a way to try a scent I like without spending a small fortune!
I went a little crazy with the sale, got a few things I’ve been eyeing for awhile. Also, if anyone subscribes to Lucky Mag they have a good cash back program, 5% generally for Sephora.
First haul :
Hourglass ambient lighting palette – i’ve been shying away from hourglass since their primer and foundation broke me out horribly a few years ago. I got a foundation sample recently with good results so went straight for the most talked about product
Ardency Inn Custom Color Coverage in light pink beige – Went with this instead of the FX Cover Drops, no particular reason, first try from this brand
Jack Black Beard Lube – Fiance swears by it
Nudestix Concealer and Lip/Cheek Pencil – first go with the brand, been looking for a new concealer and these just seem so easy, and portable.
Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Infinite Rose
Diorskin Nude Air Serum
Clarisonic Replacement Brush heads
Supplemental Haul, Nails Inc in Victoria Beckham bamboo white
You are so brave, lol! Trying foundation first from a new brand 😉
I like some Ardency Inn products – some are very good! Fingers crossed for you, Lauren!

Just before I got the coupon in the mail/email (annoying!), I bought the Laura Mercier Eye Art Artist’s Palette, Marc Jacobs #InstaMarc Light Filtering Contour Powder in Dream Filter 20, and Sephora Collection liquid eyeliners in Sailor Kiss and Fancy Blue.
Not to mention the HUGE ColourPop order I put in last week after I got my initial small-ish order. I’m obsessed!
I might have a problem…
Ahhhh! Glorious, glorious haul!
The Cover FX Drops are EVERYTHING AND MORE! I’m a hard ass when it comes to products and am not easily impressed by hype, but I swear this product is amazing! I was color matched in Sephora, G50 and it was spot on. I actually use the drops straight up because I love full coverage. This product feels very lightweight on the skin, last all day IF you set it with setting powder and looks flawless. I’m in love. I also bought the Marc Jacobs Insta Marc Mirage contour palette, a Josie Maran Coconut Water eyeshadow, ABH Brow Pomade (late to the party), Formula X nail polish, a perfume rollerball in Altelier Cedar Atlas, and a #74 Sephora contour brush.
So glad to hear the Cover FX drops are working well for you!
I got some beauty blenders, tarte maracuja foundation, too face’s natural eyes, clinique melon pop, and hourglass lipstick in Icon.
Nice!!
I was good and only placed a (somewhat) small order — two clinique cheek pops (pink and heather), a bobbi brown lipstick (pink mauve), clinique makeup remover, smashbox cc cream. and then the Urban Decay summer stuff popped up online this morning, and Fetish and Rapture blushes and Sideline eyeshadow are magically on their way to me 😉
I must say, I am not entirely sold on the clinique blushes — having trouble getting them to show up without packing a lot onto my brush, and I have light skin! Will have to play with them some more before giving up, but for now they’re kind of meh.
You were good!
What brush are you using?
