If you had to throw away one item from your beauty stash, what would it be?

If you had to throw away one item from your beauty stash, what would it be?C’mon, only one!

.

Oh, that’s easy for me, LOL. I’d toss a foundation that I didn’t wear any more. I know I’ve got at least a few hanging around.

Thanks to Samantha for this question!

do sponge tip applicators count? come on, i have this massive unnecessary stash from when my mum bought me a whole heap of them because she thought they’d be useful. i hate the things!

if they don’t count, this pink eyeshadow i have that looks gorge in the pan, but has to be used wet for any noticeable colour payoff.

I would throw out one of my foundations (foundations are boring but necessary LOL) or one of my old brushes that I keep stashed in a box, they are cheap and scratchy… hehe

it would be a chapstick that i dont like anymore.. lol.. but no i think it would be the jordana liquid eyeliner… it was a recommendation from a guru… smell like a marker ughh.

Thanks Christine for asking my question! At first I intended it to be amongst your top 10 products (then if you just had had had to choose which one to get rid of which would it be?) But then again this gets all the MU lovers out there to do some spring cleaning =) =)

Just one thing? I have loads of stuff that I don’t even know why I bought, but still keep, although I’ve been trying to sell some of the high end ones on eBay or swap them. But there are many drugstore eyeshadows that I would throw out in a flash, and also some cheap brushes I never use since I’ve got my GOSH brushes. Hm, maybe I should actually chuck them out instead of keeping them, lol.

I could easily name twenty, but I’m going to challenge myself and stick to MAC products. It would definitely have to be Virgin Kiss lipglass (Rose Romance collection), which I now know is the one thing from that collection you advised people to skip, and for good reason! I don’t have a problem with the colour, but I can’t stand how chunky and obvious the glitter is! Plus, whenever I wear it I end up with horrible glitter residue on my lips for hours after I take it off. Of course, I feel obligated to wear it since it was kind of expensive.

Either blue green mac pigment, ive never used it and never will (its not a full size, its came with a pigment holiday set) or my plushglash in pretty plush. I don’t like the mixture of vanilla and plumper, its seriously freaks me out! (that is my one and only plushglass), its a bit upsetting though because i think the color is just darling.

A Chanel serum that I got for free when I worked there. I haven’t used it in 2 years but I can’t bring myself to throw it away because it costs like $80 in the store and I’d feel guilty wasting it.

My Rimmel translucent pressed powder. I tried using it again a few weeks back and it looked just as horrible as I remembered.

My Bobby brown under eye concealer. I’ve had it for probably long enough for it to expire, and I never feel like it actually is opaque enough to make a visible difference. Usually I just do another layer of my MAC Studiofix foundation.

My NARS Night Fairy eyeshadow-I LOVE the color in the palette, but the texture/pigmentation is SO awful I have looked at all the other NARS colors with skepticism. Though that’s probably better for my pocketbook.

That said, I likely will never throw any of the above away, while I still think I “could” decide to use them. I am a pack rat.

My Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation. No matter how I apply it, I hate the texture. Plus, despite being the lightest color, it’s still slightly too dark for me. 😛

Some random lipgloss by Stila..its soooo horrible, its way to sticky and when ever i put the little wand back in the tube a bunch of lipgloss just spills out..i really hate it -__-

Bobbi Brown oil free foundation. I hate it with a fiery passion, but do I force myself to use the whole bottle, or throw $50 to the wind? Grrrrrrrrrrr.

I gave all my lipglosses to my 7-year-old cousin hahaha they were Lancome’s Juicy Tubes & Victoria’s Secret Glosses… I just never used them… And I had a MAC Lipglass, I don’t remember the name but it was green or mint-green! It was awful! I don’t know why I bought it! LOL! So, I had 5 empty products for Back-2-MAC and I added that Lipglass to get Shy Girl! haha

wet n’ wild liquid eyeliner! I’ve used it twice, and it’s the worst liquid eyeliner I’ve ever tried. It has a sticky texture and it flakes quickly! Hmm maybe I just got an old one?? Regardless… I don’t know why I haven’t already thrown it away

The new Almondine lipglass I bought without seeing the Spring Color forecast collection. I wish I had waited. I have to use litterally NONE of it and spread it all over just to make it wearable. But fortunately I find lipglasses very moisturizing in the winter! I’ll find a use!
