I just bought the Tom Ford. Congac Sable palette and I’ve been using the light brown shade on my eye lid and crease, the dark brown on my lash line and winged up, the light shimmery shade to highlight, and the intensely sparkled copper on my crease to give my eyes some drama. Basically a pretty brown smokey eye with a flash of copper glitter every time I blink. It’s absolutely beautiful!

Beautiful look, Christine!❤ I wish I have the courage to use a colored liner for under the eye! I only use colored liquid liner on top! Well, there are 2 favorites of mine that I recently made.

This one is what I made when we had our Civil Wedding last February! Very fresh spring look! Rose Golds and Pinks are always my go-to! Naked 3 for the eyes, K-Palette 24hr Liquid Liner, Hourglass Radiant Magenta and MAC Mystical! Check it here: https://instagram.com/p/zUgtIkgh6j/

And this one is a very fun look for me, I used Blue Liquid Liner from Maybelline (Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner) and I loved it sooo much! MAC Cheeky Bugger blush, Happy Skin Lippie in The Morning After. Check it here: https://instagram.com/p/ylrMdFAhyK/

You can see I don’t use Mascara because I wear eyeglasses, and I don’t even bother curling them! I only curl them when I’m attending a Formal Night event..

I hope you like them! I so love your blog, and thanks so much for all you do! Very inspiring!❤

PS. What is the best gel brow for you? I have very stubborn brows! I want them to stay where they are! Hahaha 🙂

Both looks are lovely. You looked so fresh and pretty for your wedding day. I like the kick the black cats eye liner with the soft pink makeup.

Once I got my hands on the KIKO quad I bought on vacation, I paired the lighter 2 shades (they don’t have names) on my lid with the darkest shade smudged as a liner into my upper lashes and with Sephora’s Surfer Babe liner under my lower lashes. Perfect and quick look for getting off the ship early on port days but it still looked “finished” and stood up beautifully to all day long walks though Barcelona, Toulon and the other places we went.

I love every look I do with the Naked 3 palette which is why it’s the one I reach for 90% of the time. I use it with Girl Friendly paint pot and usually Rockstar or Uzi eyeliners.

The last look that I loved was the other day when I wore makeup geek mermaid on the inner 2/3 of my eye lid with urban decay backdoor on the outer 1/3 of my eye lid, using urban decay laced as my transition colour. Makeup geek mirage as brow bone high light. I put urban decay black market liner on my bottom lash line with makeup geek mermaid on the lower lash line, with a touch of urban decay goddess to darken up the outer bottom line. Urban decay roadstrip in my inner corners. Turned out pretty good. (I ended up buying the Vice LTD palette off ebay for less than what it was being sold for originally, so I caved).

Just yesterday when I tried to do a delicate Spring look! I used 2 loose eyeshadows, a mandarin shade by Rouge Bunny Rouge (Fire Drops in Sleeping Under a Mandarin Tree) and a minty green by Lancôme (Color Design Infinité in Enduring Vert) and a black liner, a peach shade on the cheeks (Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Color in Robust Rhubarb) and a nude pink on my lips (Paul & Joe Glossy Lip Color in 01).

Eyes: Smashbox mascara on top and bottom lashes, just a wing of black smashbox eyeliner but none along the lash line, loreal highlighter eyeliner from outer corner of eyes to half way in as well as in inner corners, black shade from Nars dual intensity palette all over lid, blue shade from shu uemura 16 shades of nude palette in middle of eye

Face: matte highlighter and middle contour shade and yellow powder from Anastasia contour kit, maybelline master concealer, Lancome tangerine tint blush

I never remember all the shadows I use when I do a look 🙂 so I can’t really recall except for that I used mostly cool-toned purples from Makeup Geek, and I like using MAC Mylar as a highlight (even though it’s matte).

I recently wore Sephora’s My Boyfriend’s Jeans eyeliner & my boyfriend actually commented on it and said he liked it! I was so surprised because he usually doesn’t say anything 😀

Friday I went to an awards banquet for hubby’s work (he got his third trade secret), so I got to be all glammed up. I had Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in Alabaster set with Guerlain pressed meteorites in Mythic on my face. Cheeks: MUFE HD cream blush 410 (coral) with Milani rose powder blush in Coral Cove on top. MAC Blush in Taupe for under the cheekbone and nose contouring. Too Faced Candlelight for highlighter. Eyes: Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Gold Palette. Frill, over a cream base, on the lids. Fringe from crease to almost the brows. Brooch on the outer third of the lid and cut crease (slightly blended). Rosette under the browbone. Twinkling Topaz under the lower lash line. UD Perversion pencil on top lids for cat eyes, bottom water line and around the tear duct to meet up with the top liner. Two coats of Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara. Lips: Too Faced Lip Insurance, bhcosmetics lipliner in Delight, and MAC La Vie En Rouge lipstick.

It sounds like a lot, but the eye colors were subtle enough, and Fringe isn’t super-sparkly like the other eye shades. It actually turned out really glam, but not overdone.

The last look I did that I looked in te mirror and went “YAS” was when I used MUG insomnia pigment with bitten eyeshadow. It was just such a bomb smokey eye. Did full coverage with a strong contour, blown out blush, strong highlight, semi-natural brows, wispy lashes (nothin crasy), and a nude lip.

A very simple look and one of my favourites – bronze eyes and berry lips courtesy UD Smog in Naked 1 and Buxom Menace. Just a wash of Smog slightly above the crease and blended, and I did an unstructured lip with Menace. Neutral blush with MAC Gingerly. It was gorgeous!

I’ve tried to redo this look a few times, with lipliner and adding a crease and highlight colour, liner, etc, but it ended up being a bit too dark and dramatic for my taste. But the simplicity of just the one shadow and lipstick was the best! It was dramatic, but in an off the cuff, effortless way.

Hi Christine

I was wondering how you liked the LMdB Obsidian Odyssey Kalidescope? I just purchased one (it’s still available at Neiman Marcus) and would really appreciate your opinion of it, as there are hardly any reviews online. Thanks so much! I hope you love it, it certainly looks nice on you 🙂
