I totally thought that was a misprint. Than I went to Nordstrom’s site and it’s not. So, then I had to look closer. i’m not too fascinated by it. I do like the box. It was tempting since it was so inexpensive to snatch it up. But, these may not be the pro shadows and the colors really ..uhh Idk..maybe not really great for summer. The bronzer looks like a brown shadow. I hope you get to review it! It has me all confused, lol!

Wow, $20 for all this?? That’s an awesome deal, and would make a great travel palette. Or if I’m rushing around in the morning, I can grab this palette and get a complete look, but I want to see if the colors are too warm. And not sure if this is all matte or not

It really has… The biggest selling point for me several years back was the fact she set out to create quality products that were free of parabens, talc, petroleum byproducts, etc… However, since leaving Sephora, and being carried by retailers like Kohl’s, the prices have dropped, and the ingredients have changed. It seems tarte has gone the same route since being purchased by a Japanese conglomerate.

I realize most cosmetics, at all price points, contain these ingredients, but I hate when a brand starts out with one philosophy, then cheapens the product. I’d personally rather pay more for “clean” products.

Nicole Kidman was one of Carol Shaw’s client and used her products, Maybe she still is. Lorac used to be found only at Fred Segals in Los Angeles. I had this cheek tint long ago and it was awesome. Yes, the powder products were good too.

It’s in my Nordstrom “shopping bag” waiting to be checked out online. But I am not sure. I entered every information they need…my credit card number, my address etc. etc. I don’t know but I’m a little reluctant to click “Place Order.” It’s a limited edition. Yeah, of course, it’s great. It’s my favorite Lorac. Yeah, lovely. But I am not sure if I am entirely in love with this palette. Eyeshadows look so…..ordinary??? Except for green, I think I have all other colors…if not Lorac…

For $20, I grabbed one. These kinds of things usually sell out fast. Free shipping, too — gotta love it. I hope the bronzers and blush aren’t as dark as they look in the picture.

Thepackaging looks gorgeous, and the price is tempting me to contrive a way to get one all the way down here, but I’m not sure about the colours – promo images are so tricky!! I’d love to know what you think of it when you get your hands on it, O fellow vampire beauty 🙂

You really can’t beat the price even if it’s not pro colors. I usually buy all these inexpensive little palettes, I’ve always been pleased with the quality. you can’t even buy 1 high end eye shadow for $20 so why not. Even if you really hate it that much nords has the most flexible return policy. I really like palettes that have eye, cheek, & face in 1 convenient package. easy on the go makeup.

The smaller palettes that I’ve gotten have been pretty good, except for the Skinny and Skinny Navy (they were just OK). Not quite up there with the Pros, but pretty good.

Dang it! I just bought that It e/s palette for about $20 too and the Lorac Gold Zip one …. that green in this one and the price is tugging at me! I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER LORAC PALETTE! Arrgh FWP!

Mine arrived this afternoon. The quality is really, really good. Tons better than the Skinny palettes. I think it’s in line with Unzippeds. In regards to the green shade: It’s nothing like it looks in the promo shots. It’s one of those dark, olive/gold duochromes, albeit a really pretty one. I was hoping for a bright emerald green, but I’m still happy with the palette. The contour is dark, but matte and cool toned. I love the highlighter. Of course, the packaging is beautiful.

HauteLook has Lorac tomorrow. I have no idea if this item will be offered or not, but the preview showed the Skinny palettes and lip glosses.

This is my first LORAC palette, and it is gorgeous. But I am disappointed to see that it is made in China. It’s my fault for not looking at the description closely enough . . . is this typical of the lower-priced LORAC items? I know the pro palette is made in USA . . . . has anyone had an reactions to the Chinese made products? I’ve read so many articles about hazardous materials in Chinese factories, I worry about using them for food prep or cosmetic items . . . things you could ingest or put on your skin.

I love my Lorac Pro 1 & 2, but these limited editions that sell out in two seconds and are never available again are making me want to stop supporting the brand.

Mara Avatar

These are now available at Nordstrom Rack. You better believe I grabbed one, I’m super happy with it and the colors suit me well. The eyeshadow pigment could be a little better but it’s still very nice.
