Cant wait to see what your thoughts are on this. Always interesting when a fashion designer branches out into cosmetics/makeup.
Very cute!
Seriously have no need for eyeshadow, but I did pause at these the other day while perusing latest department store finds. I like the shades co-ordinated in the first palette a lot. The third is a super pretty workhorse as well.
Reminds me of Tarte. Another brand trying to get into the beauty business.
They’ve been in “the beauty business” for *years*!
Ummmmm. I meant Tory Burch going into the makeup business, not Tarte. The design reminded me of Tarte. I was trying to say two different things. It just sounded like one thought….drives my friends crazy when I change the subject.
The packaging is so pretty, but I guess that’s to be expected. The first one has really nice colors but the last one seems more wearable.
For $ 60, I expect more than cardboard packaging, but then again, we’ve seen too many brands spend all the money on elegant packaging/looks and skimp on the shadow formula (looking at you, Dior, Hourglass, and Guerlain). And the Cat’s Meow palette should have cute cats or kittens all over it. Otherwise, the colors look very elegant and wearable, you can come up with a variety of looks using the color combos, really hope they perform well. The Catch and Cat’s Meow look interesting, hope you will review.
Beautiful. I love the matte colors.
Cat’s Meow and Pas du Tout look gorgeous. I’d like to say I will wait for your review, Christine, but I think we all know what’s going to happen… 🙂
These are very pretty and my wallet is doing a pre-sob. Not going into these blindly though.Because a fashion designer can coordinate colors does not mean they can make cosmetics well. Hope to see a review!
I know nothing of Tory Burch or what the quality of these is likely to be (though for the price, it had better be pretty good). Will you be reviewing these, Christine? I like the 2nd and 3rd palette colours but seeing as how the line isn’t even available in Canada, I’ll have to love (or leave) these vicariously!
Catch looks great. I’d use every color. If it gets a good rating from you I might pick it up!
loving the catch eye palette! would totally get if it gets good reviews
They certainly look beautiful. I like the color combinations on the first two. The third is a pretty neutral palette. I wonder if the quality is there.
Heh, I was going to type exactly this! ^_^ I knew there was a reason to read all the comments before typing mine *rogue sense tingles*
Very pretty! I’m curious to see the front of the palettes. I wish it didn’t come with the dinky little brush though.
These look so gorgeous, so beautiful. It is really great to see (for me) a new player in the beauty market. I really hope these palettes are of quality.
All 3 are gorgeous, and I could see myself wearing every shade in all 3, but again, this is a brand that doesn’t seem to have much physical counter-space in brick-and-mortar stores…
They look so pretty, I love Catch, Wild Card, Morning Glory and Evil Eye are gorgeous shades!
Will you be doing a review on these palettes, Christine? Can’t wait! 🙂
Learned my lesson with Hourglass – I’m waiting for your review or until I see them in person! But Cat’s Meow is looking interesting.
I really like the look of Cat’s Meow. Can’t wait to see your review, Christine.
Liked the last one of them.
I didn’t know that Macy’s is now carrying TB Beauty…I just ordered the Cat’s Meow palette. Hopefully the shadows are good quality and pigmented. If not, I have no qualms about returning it though!
This isn’t TB first adventure in cosmetics. She came out with a bronzer and lippies almost two years ago and they performed horribly. The packaging looked glammed but it was cheap plastic with no weight. I was not impressed. And to see this release….in cardboard packaging at that price point I certainly hope she got it right this time.
Ooo I like the way Catch looks! I hope you get a chance to review these. I’m dying to see the swatches
I just ordered this in “Catch,” the top one you have pictured here. I normally won’t order unless I’ve seen reviews on something somewhere, especially from you, but the color combo just looked too pretty to pass up.
how did you like it? I’ve been trying to find reviews and swatches for 2 months but have yet to see any for Catch. I’m in love with the colors, but wondering what the quality is like.
These are GORGEOUS but I went with my trusty Gucci instead. 🙂
