Looks - Work Safe Dark Neutrals

Simple neutral look from yesterday 🙂

I used Soft Ochre paint pot all over lid, Arena eyeshadow on inner lid, Elite eyeshadow (LE) on middle of lid, Bronze eyeshadow on outer lid and crease, Grain eyeshadow above crease, Femme-fi eyeshadow on brow, Graphblack techankohl on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. I had Margin blush on cheeks with Dior Amber Diamond SkinShimmer to highlight. I wore Pleasureseeker lipstick (LE) with Soft & Slow lipglass (LE) on my lips.

** These are recommendations for dupes based on permanent colors available — may not necessarily be identical; they are the closest I can think of!

Elite = Woodwinked; Pleasureseeker = Syrup (?); Soft & Slow = Lovechild

I just bought margin yesterday because one of the MA used that and MSF Light Flush on me the other day, and I got so many compliments, lol. This look is a great neutral look. I can’t wait to try it.

Christine,

I was wondering if I can make a request. I would love to see “work safe” color looks. Something other than just adding a colored liner to a neutral look but really using blue, greens, etc into a office work environment. Thanks.

By the way, another great look. Must try out!

Hi Christine! This is such a gorgeous look! You look very nice, as usual. I love neutrals, haha. I like the lip combo you have here! It looks really pretty. I’ve been looking for some cool-toned neutrals, and these eyeshadows look like just what I’ve been looking for to expand my collection!

i love this! another school-perfect look (school = work)! thanks for giving the permanent collection dupes. I’ve stopped buying LEs and I’d like to work out of the large clxn that I already have.

This is stunning, considering its just a ‘work safe’ neutral look, its still so gorgeous and intricate, and with that lippy, it makes going to work a lot more glamourous 🙂

I love the way the focus is on your entire face almost like a bridal look. The lip color is beautifulllll!! Do you think you could do a bridal look or two for the upcoming summer weddings? Thanks!

Hi, I need tips on how to make my eyes bigger( I have medium size eyes) with eyeliner, when i line my lower lashes my eyes looks smaller, I know you have small eyes, but when you line your waterline, your eyes pop out more? what works for medium, brown eyes?
TIA

Hi Roma!

Do you line your upper lash line or just your lower lash line? Sometimes it can be a combination of the two, or even going for upper lash line alone or lower lash line alone. You may want to try a brown or even a white liner on the waterline instead, too!

I line my upper lash with a black liner, it works a little( it makes my lashes look thicker), however when I line my lower lash it makes my eyes smaller?!!!!! ive never tried a white liner before, I might do that, thanks for the reply, your very talented.
