I spend more time on my feet than my hands.
I paint my toe nails ever week and a half or so.
I love to wear sandals and flip flops, so I have to
make sure the toes are looking good ! : )
I try to keep my toes painted, too, at the very least!
I pay a fair amount of attention to both, but my hands more often than my feet – I use hand cream every day, sometimes I do the whole overnight thing… I have a foot scrub that I use about once a week, and do an overnight moisturizing session, but my feet still don’t look that great.
Very nice, Jennifer! I admire your dedication to your feet and hands. I need some of that!
Feet are tough! Sometimes the skin there is just so hard to hydate.
I pay a lot of ttention to them. My nails and toesnailas are always polished. I use my foot scrub twice a week
Nice! What foot scrub do you use?
I use a cheapie Calgon one, it works great though. I can’t fall sleep if I forget to use it the nights I’m supposed to…lol!
Hey, if it works, it works!
My feet are another obsession of mine. I do mini-pedicures every 3 days. I love adding designs and jewels and changing the color and look every few days. I LOVE showing off my feet.
With my hands, thankfully I don’t have to pay too much attention to them. I get them professionally manicured every 2 1/2 weeks and moisturize everytime I wash my hands to keep them soft and supple.
Oh, wow, Tina!! I am very impressed – I wish I had your dedication!
I’m bad 🙁 I hardly pay any attention to my hands and feet. I mean it cut and file but I rarely paint them. I do try to keep hand and foot cream around in case they get TOO dry, but normally the after shower lotion I use works just fine.
Now that it’s summer and the toes are all out, I do keep them painted, but that’s pretty much it. Between my daughter and all the housework, it’s pointless to get my nails done, so I just keep them trimmed and moisturized.
Hey DaniMae! Yeah, I do a lot of work with my hands, so my nails tend to chip so I don’t get them professionall done!
Barely any at all, to be honest. I try to pamper them, but I just never think of it. Definitely something I’m working on.
Me too, Trisha, me too. I’m better about the hands than the feet, but still…
Can anyone give me a suggestion to get rid of that white chalky looking stuff on my toenails? I’ve been told it is from leaving dark nail polish on too long! Thanks
Have you tried soaking your feet and then doing a scrub?
Both 🙂
I do a thermal pedicure foot treatment weekly.
Paint them weekly.
Nails.
I try to paint them…they chip with in two days..so I mostly keep them w/ a clear coat of nail polish 🙂
Thermal pedicure foot treatment… is this something you do at-home or go somewhere?
Man, my toes do NOT chip whatsoever, lol!!
I love my feet more than my hands, but i do give a proper time to both of them EVERYDAY,It is very IMPORTANT!!!
Zzainy…
Oh, that’s very, good, Zainy!!
oh my gosh.. when it comes to my hands and feet i SERIOUSLY think i have a mild case of OCD.. they have to be clean at ALL times. i wash my hands probably 20 times a day and my feet 3 or 4 times (aside from shower).; they have to be manicured and pedicured RELIGIOUSLY. i cant walk barefoot cause then my feet get dirty and thats when the OCD kicks in.. in my hands i have acrylics so its not much maintenance, but if i have even the slightest polish chip on my toes i cannot pay attention to anything else until i fix it!! huff.. i think i need a specialist..
WOW! I am so amazed, Annie! That’s some dedication!
My feet require the most maintenance…I use a lavender scrub for my feet every night when I get in the shower – I forget who it’s by, the tag came off! Anyway, I paint my toes regularly, and constantly keep my feet moisturized, because the get dry quickly. My hands, on the other hand, require alot less. I paint my nails maybe twice a week, and not because the paint chips (i’m extra careful about that), but because I really like variety :). I keep lotion on my hands often to, and thats just about it.
Oh, wow, that’s incredible, Alicia. I am so blown away by you and other readers’ dedication!
Not a lot. Luckily I have really easy feet, as they are always soft and problem free without any effort.
For my hands I always carry a hand cream with me. Because I work in a lab, big nails are a bother and nail polish cracks with the latex gloves, so I just trim my nails when needed and apply cream frequently.
Oh, that’s nice, Carolina. You are definitely a lucky gal to have some easy feet 🙂
My hands get a moisturizing treat whenever I apply moisturizer on my always dry legs! So I guess they’re pretty fine 😀 My feet are hopeless though! I scrub them with Body Shop’s lemongrass foot scrub, but ar, they’re still hard and dry. But I don’t hate my feet! It just feels like my feet have been through more and they’re stronger, and that’s why I don’t mind the hard spots anymore 🙂
Aww, poor feets! It sounds like yours have definitely built up some strength!
I regularly care for my hands and feet. Yeah like Jenna I moisturize my legs like everyday so my hands just get covered in it anyways!
Seems like a lot of you do! I’m surprised, actually, maybe because I always forget!
regular nail maintenance on both hands and feet is a must for me! 🙂
You guys are so much better than me!
I ignore the mess out my hands. I use Olay lotion everywhere and I trim my nails every week or so, but as for professionally done, or even using professional products, no. Not at all. I get my feet done every 2 to 3 weeks now that it’s summer time, though, and I always make sure they’re moisturized.
Oh nice! I love getting pedicures. So fun.
