What's your go-to cheek color combination lately?

What’s your go-to cheek color combination lately? Share!

I’m really into Kevyn Aucoin’s sculpting/highlighting cream duo – it just looks really natural.

I’m always changing blush colors, so no “go to” there. Now that it’s winter, I’m wearing bronzers less for contouring and mostly using MAC blush in Taupe. I mainly use TF Candlelight or e.l.f. Gotta Glow for highlighter.

I’m liking the highlighter in my new Sleek cheek contour palette, so that may be going into heavy rotation. The Sleek one is nice and neutral. Not as yellow as Candlelight and Gotta Glow, but not real rosy either. It looks great. (The blush is like a less sparkly version of their Rose Gold, and the contour is a slightly warm/orange light brown. It looks like TF Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer in the pan, but on me it pulls more orange than Milk Choc does.)

I’ve been trying to get through some products lately so I have been sticking to using MAC Solar Riche bronzer to add some color to my pastey complexion and topping with with Tarte Adventurous blush and to high light MAC Soft and Gentle (which refuses to even get a dent in it).

Color: Covergirl Cheekers Blush in True Plum. I absolutely LOVE Covergirl Cheekers. I’ve had a lot of blushes, but this one and Classic Pink are two of my all-time faves!

Contour: NYX blush in Taupe.

Highlighter: Physician’s Formula Color Pearls in Glowpearls or Kardashian Beauty Radiant Ombre Blush in Tender.

I’m into my burgandy, berry and red blushes right now – Nars Seduction, Exhibit A, Mac’s Glamour Feast and my Guerlain 4 seasons Terracotta bronzer in Ebony 8 (esp. the red section). I’m highlighting this month with the BB copper diamond shimmer brick, Mac’s Magnetic Appeal or Perfectly Poised. I bought a few highlighters during the Fall sales so I’m looking forward to experimenting this winter.

My go to contour color is “fawn” in the ABH contour kit. I use kevyn Aucoin’s “the sculpting powder” in medium if I want something more dramatic.Go to bronzer is Nars laguna. My highlight and blush choice is all over usually. Altough, my favorite highlights at the moment are Kevyn Aucoin “candlight”,Burberry “gold glow luminizing powder”, and I like Bobbi Brown’s “pink glow” form the scotch on the rocks for a night out. Favorite blushes are the two Tom Ford I own, thanks to Christine’s love of TF blushes. I currently have “Wicked” and “Lovelust” and “Savage” and “Ravish” were ordered just last week.Seriously addicted to those blushes! I have a tone of blushes though and all my Nars and Hourglass ambient blush in “diffuses heat” and “Radiant Magenta ” are in heavy rotation.

I just changed foundation, which is Maybelline Fit Me in 110, and actually pulls *neutral* on me (I typically end up with foundation that pulls warm…), so I’ve been playing around with new combos. That said, I’ve been using NYX Twin Cake in Cappuccino, which is actually a powder foundation, as a contour, and one of my Maybelline Master Hi-Lighters as a quick blush/highlighter in one. Pink Rose & Mauve are the 2 I reach for most often, as both also add color.

The NYX Cappuccino is quite similar to Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder, but a bit “grayer”, and slightly more pigmented. It’s also 1/4 the price…

First I use Nyx Taupe blush, then I highlight with the highlighter that came in my UD Anarchy Face Case, and finally I apply either that plum blush that is also in that Face Case or Nars Orgasm or Nyx Pinched (same color as Orgasm, but less glittery!)

The Balm pinstripe blush (deep mauve) and Cindy Lou Manizer for highlighter (it’s a warm peach with gold and purple highlight tones). I think they were made for my cheeks – I’ve been wearing it constantly for the last month or so 🙂
